Do you know what Naira would be to dollar by now without Dangote refinery. Oil imports accounts for 80% of Forex requirement in CBN.
He took a risk constructing the refinery, he would have been ruined if it failed.
The importers you are supporting have no viable investment in the oil sector, it's just cash-in cash-out for them, they don't care if the economy collapses as long as they make their own fast money.

You talk as if majority of your brain has leaked out of your ears. The CBN under Emiefele sold dollars at a very cheap rate to Dangote. The NNPC too reportedly provided funds though less than 5% of the total cost of the project.

Will government be willing to sell dollars cheaply across board to anyone willing to build a refinery? Or is this a package only Dangote enjoyed?

A government that cannot account for the billions of dollars it borrowed to fix Kaduna and Port Harcourt refineries has no business demanding Nigerians pay 15% on imported fuel. That is wickedness.

A bag of cement costs 3500 in China but yet that same bag costs 9500 here in Nigeria. What possibly justifies this? And the government wants to put us at the mercy of this company?

Congrats bro
I remember those days of working 7am to 6pm Mon-Sat at Ikotun as a Production Manager with meagre pay.
As a manager I shouldn't do some things but had to turn myself to casual worker to meet target set by the owner of the factory who is illiterate, doesn't pay his workers well so there was no motivation for them to do extra.
The production machines were old so it gets spoilt easily, I would be the burden bearer of the blame. Life was my made hard for me, but I was sincere all through, never took a dime for myself that want mine.
If you missed a day due to illness,a day wages would be deducted.I missed one virtual interview one day due to ill timing on his part walking into the factory at that particular scheduled time, Gosh felt like crying.
I would wake up in the morning and life will be hellish thinking of the kind of day ahead.
I quitted one day, after deducting like 12% of my salary, and I thank God always for the decision. I never collected a full salary all through my stay there.

Your MIL believes she's doing right by her daughter, you should have been firm from the beginning.
All the same it's your wife that's your primary target. You tell her what you want in your family.

Guy make we just leave NDLEA matter because even before the salary was review, they're not collecting up to 120k

you can ask from the staff, I knew some of the guys that was recruited in year 2021, they complain bitterly, their salary is around 100k before tax deduction

They received the lowest pay among the paramillitry

Salary increments as nothing to do with bill my brother, all what the agency need is the president approver and to direct the national salaries incomes and wages commission to implement it and also ICPC, NDLEA and EFCC as no business with Presidency the head of the commission reported directly to AGF

President Buhari as put smile on the face of some many agencies staff in the last couple of days

NDLEA has to be removed from under MOJ, for the huge salary to be implemented, as well as some other policies reenacted. So national assembly is tinkering with some acts, and to place the agency under the direct purview of the presidency. I don't know if it's done yet or not but I'm sure it won't pass this month

I’m married and currently with a child. I applied for this NDLEA as a single person because I won’t be changing my surname. Is there a possibility that I will work in my state of residence if heaven should smile on me?

Married women were given preference of working where their spouses are located as at last recruitment.
If you are single, forget about working in state of origin or residence, only if you are long legged like a gazelle.

The recruitment might last till ending of the year before training commences.
Even during the last training pregnant women were sent home, with the notion they will do their training with the next incoming batch, though they are on the payroll.

I'm a third class graduate, according to people opinion it felt as if I wasted my years in school when I graduated. I work for one of the federal government agencies now.
Government rarely discriminates class of degree.
