No, you have not. That could be an exception if the church is miles away from where you live. But if your church is not far from home, then you should attend. It’s always a blessing to be around other Christians. Everything the Lord commands us to do is for our own good, not Him.

It’s not something one can enlighten you on. You have to experience it. Only people who have been through a spiritual warfare know what these things are. All that science so falsely called does is to make the world think that the devil does not exist. I can only advise that you look unto Jesus and forget about them. How not to read the Bible

1. As a bookworm (looking for nuggets, intellectualism).
2. With a preconceived notion.
3. With a bad heart (heart of unbelief; wrong attitude; heart of unconfessed sin; looking for scripture to prove you’re right or to justify yourself; wrong motive; wrong spirit). Don’t go to the Bible looking for a sermon, but Him.
4. As a boaster (so I can check out my box, or how many times I have read through my Bible, or how much I know more than you). Don’t read the Bible to appear spiritual or for people to make boast of you.
5. As a battler (don’t read the Bible so you can debate with somebody. That’s pride. You will wind up a nut. Prov. 13:10).
6. As a belittler (people read their Bible so that they can correct someone else. They want to show where everybody else is wrong. They never read the Bible to see what’s wrong with themselves, always trying to fix someone else.

Conclusion:
Read the Bible and study it with a humble and sincere heart. Be open minded with any truth that the Holy Spirit wishes to impact on us when we read it. Read it first so we can correct ourselves not others. Read it to know the Lord Jesus Christ and know how to please and obey Him. Read it because you love and fear Him. Read it for Him and then He will do something to you.

Dear OP, hold on to what you have learned so far, but stop arguing with fools. The only thing you got wrong here is that one can lose their salvation. A believer cannot lose his salvation. He promised us eternal life. You cannot reject Jesus Christ after salvation as you are bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh. Will you pluck out your eyes because it refused to shed tears? Will you chop off your arm because it refused to be part of your body? We are the body of Christ. You can’t lose your salvation but you could lose your rewards at the judgement seat of Christ (1 Cor. 3:9-15; 2 Cor. 5:10-11; Rom. 14:10), or your right to rule and reign with Him at His millennial reign (2 Tim. 2:11-13; Rom. 8:14-16…”and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” So the condition of earning rewards is suffering. Putting down your flesh from sinning is part of suffering. Living a holy Christian life, studying your Bible every day are part of suffering as they wear the flesh out.

1 John 5:12-13 “He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

Please just don't consider taking your life as an option. Life is all about ups and down. Have courage please. Open up don't bottle up else it will make your frustration double. I find your humour very interesting. By the grace of God, I have been able to be of help to people going through chronic depression. If the Lord has laid it in your heart to help them, then use some wisdom just as you did this time. Now you can counsel people. But please, don’t ever use that phrase you capitalised. It’s best to tell such people to hang in there and you will be praying for them. Remember to give thanks to God that you’re not in their shoes.

Then what is the answer? What could you possibly tell the grieving family? You’re probably a teenager I guess who have seen nothing. If you have something encouraging to say to the grieving family or someone else here who may be struggling, then say it, rather than typing “suicide is not an option” like one of those foolish children.

Is that all you have to say to the grieving family? Do you know what’s on the young man’s saddle bag? Are you sure you can hang on much longer than he did? Sometimes it’s better to keep silence than speak as a fool.

Use the STAR approach and narrow down your examples to the skills required. For example, if you did a dissertation or project in finance, it should have honed your analytical skills. Just make sure all examples you give is narrowed down to the skills they are looking for. Most employers are looking for potentials, not perfection.
