Bameyi don dance to Spyro's Whos your guy after that italy win cos what in the hell is this? Two goals and he's at fault?!!

Italy used crosses to finish this Brazil men so why aren't we trying it since they are not good at recovering from it atall?

That Daga yellow is painful. Guy would not give his 100 again now to feature in KO stages. Mtchew. From +3 to +1, and Italy is lurking. I wished that Sunday Freekick was utilized better. Mtchew.

Compare the pictured I posted please with ones you have posted and you are clutching at straws.

You even had to go back years ago when Tomori was playing for Chelsea how many of seasons ago.

And how many goals did he score against Liverpool.

V.O. is an excellent player but him making a mockery of EPL defenders is not going to be easy.

I can say the enigma that is Haaland has done it, but they are two different types of players. I expect him to get a minimum of 15 goals for Manchester United or Newcastle.
If it were before, u for agree say na mockery. But with what i saw this season, especially with isak that people though he won't match up physically, I'll say vo is free to come and run em rugged. Epl defence this season is disappointing abeg. Especially since md30

What if Brazil beat us and Italy beat Dominican Republic? All 3 would be on 6 points. Italy beat Brazil, Nigeria beat Italy, Brazil beat us.

In any case, goal difference is what would be used in this tournament. So if above happens, it will be
Brazil, then Nigeria or Italy in second depending on goal difference.
Italy will need to beat Dom by 5 at most to be above us on table by GD. We need to not lose. That's why that Dom 2-1 dey vex me. That was a game we suppose win by 5-0. Mtchew.

But i believe the boys are gingered right now to win Brazil. Na only Forwards Brazil get. We dominate the middle easily. We need to be super clinical and avoid mistakes in Italy game cos if Brazil score....

One thing i love about these girls is they are every eager to cross into the box. I know quality of opponents matters too, but they are confident about what they are doing, especially Afolabi and Sebastine. I just hope they don't make her play another position if her time comes for Senior team. Small but mighty.

My only problem with this U20 team is that they are grossly overage. For all we know, they could all be in their mid to late twenties i.e at their peak.

This means the boys have only two or three years max to perform optimally before nature takes its course and diminishing returns sets in.

For those celebrating that we have found fresh solutions to our SE problems, I would advise caution. It is not yet Uhuru. Those boys are not boys.

daga’s major issue is that he is easily dragged out of position

He should be told that he’s major responsibility is shielding the back 4
obviously. He paid attention to correction. I think one player that can be dragged out without concern is Bameyi. He and Fred seem to understand each other. Funny enough, Agbalaka is hibernating. He's not at full battery yet still balling.

3 vs 1 counter and we blew it!!! Why!!! We should be killing this off.

The boys are not relenting anyway and Daga has been quite the mad man at CDM. Blocking and harassing eveeyinv blue. Lol and to add to that, his footwork is a delight on the ball.

#MDU20WCDiaries
We blew chances i lost count. Wetin sef.

I noticed Daga was cautioned in dressing room. He was involved more in attack in first half and exposed the defence as he was far from duty post. But 2nd half he was solid and at duty. I don't like those wasted chances. That's a 300% of being goals but we wasted them. Moments i hate such is when we need a goal in a KO moment. E go pain ke die. Like that 2008 Olympics final vs Argentina. We knocked to no avail. I hope they improve on this.

The scoreline didn't do us justice of what happened. Almost 30 attempts overall.

These boys still have problems with finishing. Chai.

This was easily a 5-0 match. I like how the ref wasn't having any of those rubbish cheap foul the Italian boys were looking for. Our passing is very sweet. I give them that one.

If this is the Italians that beat Brazil, then we will easily beat those ones, but waste chances. Thanks to VaR for maintaining the tempo of this game. That Agbalaka handball would have ruined this game. Nice Allison moment for that Sunday goal.

Seems the fans will turn up to enjoy our last game. We really entertained the crowd. Lovely.

Never gave them a chance. Now they are through to next round.

Notable performance

Ogwuche
Bameyi(this guy just dey blow nose all over the pitch. Kilode?)🤣🤣🤣🤣
Eletu

I wasn't impressed by Salim Fago even though he scored. Guy wasted chances mehn. But nice teamwork.

Overall i wished they shot direct at goal than trying to give inbox passes that fizzles out the attack. I counter over 11 such times that a shot would have stunned their goalie but they passed and wasted.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I hope the eyes of the true delusionists here will finally be open.

Eberechi Eze will never play for us. He will finally be capped, not once, not twice but thrice or more and viola... Game over! Michael Olise too is bidding his time and he too might get his dream of playing for a euro nation.

We keep making up XIs and shitty analyses with players who will never play for us while we keep ignoring the options we "realistically" have who can also fit into our team and come help elevate our midfield quality.

It's about time we faced the reality.
Big reality checker.

I know some will blame Rohr. They forget that man was not really pulling the strings for invitations. Las las, make we comot hopes for Afcon. That middle is empty and a worse manager at the helm again. Southgate seem to finally realize he needs to mix old and new, while back here, many greedy administrators are crying foul about 'turning the national team to foreign born team'

If we have our countries working, will we care much about their racism? Many blacks the world over will move to Africa and rather deal with Africa’s version — Tribalism
the funny thing is this version is cos they don mellow. The one of slavery era was they coming to disrupt our ancestors lifestyle with their greed. Even if we have working country or continent, they'll still scramble for us cos our wealth is massive and addictive. Many of them are currently broke like France is.

As for those blacks returning, they themselves are a huge huge problem that may make indigenous africans to prefer the whites after settling down back here. They get wahala. They will need some tough factory reset to commune and stay with indigenes. They may even be more toxic with the tribalism sef. Hmmm.

I see some comments trying hard to justify these inhumane acts at an event of celebration. Onedevoid of any need for high security clearance. Nigerians are wired to justify crap in the name of knowing it or that's how it is, accept it.

For starters, the pictures shows how disorganized they are at the entrance. 2ndly, they didn't plan for that crowd and should have improvised. 3rdly, if they stopped admitting people by 1030. They should have simply closed the access and do what should be done in a humane yet organized way.

I guess they totally believe the "Nigerians no dey hear word" mantra.

I don’t think is a bad idea for Stade de Reim Coach to play her as a Left Winger.. it will improve her attacking aspect of the game a lot.. PSG Left Back Sakina Karchaoui and Selma Bacha of Lyon and France are Originally Left Back but Plays as Left Wingers when the Occasion arises..

Imuran is just 18 going to 19 by next month. I’m pretty excited with the way she’s going…
We have two full backs that are better finishers than any of our current midfielders. What a time.Alozie deserve a wing match.

I doubt another CF will come in, Nketiah will be the back up.... someone rightly said Jesus wasn't supposed to walk straight into the team after recovering from the injury...

Arterta only want his first 11 and play is just one pattern...he should learn to tweak tactics..
The Rice deal is 50-50, except his net spending would be around 60M(i.e from sells)
I see another striker coming in. The UCL return will be seen as a big deal. Unless they want to lose to dia club brugge and young boys after 3games. Anything without a scent of ucl experience in the XI na waste or space.

As for Arteta, i hope he changes. The 1st XI thing is his own curse. Pep's curse is overthinking.

Jesus is a Lacazette type of striker, they make the attack flow, but they don't bury chances...their type requires a different kind of striker to come off the bench and change things up.
I hope Edu and Co will realize they need to be swifter with transfer talks. Can't imagine forest were swifter to buy 40 players and they survived. If we were swifter, we won't be here.

Teta has his own shortcomings, but he too dey protect these guys. They need to be dragged too. How will Awoniyi have more impact than Jesus, covering less distance in total? Chai.

Bro..we need another striker. I won't mind Kane though if push comes to shove.
One definite mistake of Arteta was returning Jesus right back to the XI. I can't even recall the last time he converted after 2 chances again. Smh. That was a mistake. Kane coming to this XI would mean we need to change the entire setup and return to counter attack football. We are possession based and can't crack down defences that sit back comfy. That's why most passes are between Gabriel-Partey-White than Odegaard-Saka-Xhaka. Everyone now knows they easily pass back will small pressure than risk a crack down.

I remember Miracle Usani tonight.

She steps up vs USA, gets her PK save and like the girl she is, went down in tears. Captain Comfort rushes to console her as she weeps and berates herself while VAR check and overturned and ordered a retake.

Yet to recover from the pain of the loss, she stands up and this time, buries the pk, and still, is pained about her initial miss. 😂😂😂😂😂

When it comes to Football Philosophy, why are the English teams missing?

We have Barca, Ajax, Madrid, Marseille, Bayern, with their philosophy and are spreading their tentacles to all leagues in the world currently. Yet one can't even mention one team that is doing that from England.

So what is going on really?
