12large1: Vincent Aboubakar is the present top scorer at Afcon and he has only 6 goals at the exact backwater league that ighalo plays - Ighalo is the top scorer at that League. I am just waiting for our list vs Ghana na Ogun, amadioha go faya anybody wey dey against Ighalo and victor Moses imminent return. These young inexperienced boys has totally failed us. Our worst ever result in ANC since 1978 If we even look at the shots at goal of allllllll these young boys they said ighalo should allow to shine, you'd just weak. Very weak. Vs Bissau alone nikan, what Ighalo would do both aerially and inside the box plus the composure...... The boys need experience. They have it now. Hopefully, next year, they'll come around. |

Belief and Ginger mixed with the right amount of luck can make champions. Right from pre-euros they weren't even faves. But their first match was all people needed to see to know their driving force was majorly self belief. |

codemaniacs: Nigeria doesn't need to emulate any lesson.. poor goalkeeping caused Nigeria to crash out same way poor goalkeeping let Liverpool lose 2018 UCL..
The only S.E need is a quality goalkeeper and ensure Okoye becomes 4th choice goalkeeper until he improves... Agreed 100% We were just okay until badluck and that solo effect hung us to dry. Else we'll still be the talk of this afcon as the team to beat. So far so good, except Cameroon, no othwr team looks like the team to beat. Not even Egypt. |

Kog45: Nigeria missed Etebo, wish him quick recovery. I doubt you miss him more than me. The closest was Onyeka, a top performer that was made to sit the bench for virtually no reason whatsoever. That part irks and makes me outraged. Its like saying Osaze is performing at WestBrom and then he comes to Afcon camp and then he is made to warm the bench cos of ..................(the gap has whatever excuse there is) Well, we go dey alright. For now. |

Meliforme: It is very clear. The Bible clearly mentioned Day and Night, and went on to include the Evening and the Morning as the Day. Yeah the Jewish own calendar considered Evening to Morning as a full day in their own reckoning While the Egyptians, Babylonians, was vice versa. Some other cultures align with either of both sides from times before. |

Last Afcon i think, Uganda had a stunner from long range, accurate and breathtaking.
Now, this time, its Malawi that did this long range again. East African teams have this specialty.
Its not sheer luck. Lets borrow their book for long range stunners too. A Pity Hakim ruined the night for them. |

Icon4s: Guys, sorry to derail this thread a bit. Bro, what proves do you have that creation activities only took place in the morning and evening? I am just curious. Those were markers of time actually. Morning and Evening. It marked a full day. Which is why that sentence kept reoccurring. We have no prove except the one before our eyes in Gen. 1. So instead of thinking it was morning and evening work, we have to believe it was a full day work, marked by those timelines. |

For the feat under such a short period I'll give kudos to coachito. But silly decisions can undo a lot of things. Pep and Simeone suffer from this thing too. Pep overthinking and Simeone sticking to the plan asif anything will change until he loses the game. |

jolly94: One thing I have noticed overtime is that the super eagles hardly make complaints during games for bad officiating. Look at that deserved penalty which could have changed the game to our favour and a bias red card. Now they are learning it the hard way. Playing this North African teams you have to be prepared psychologically too. Tantrums for tantrums. You must be prepared for their tantrum games especially during decisive matches and world cup playoffs. I hope we apply it next afcon. Its provoking we never had one pk before we jaa. Think of it. If we are facing ghana too, we better try look for pk. The game is not Fairplay atall. |

do4luv14: a bouncing ball, in front of a goalkeeper is a very dangerous ball, due to its potentials to change direction and fool even the best of keepers
BTW, the guy got to much space to take that shot its just baffling we analysing the ball and not the fact that many keepers easily gather such kind, especially when they see the shooter. It is well. Its not inexcusable though. But its also not one impossible task atallllllll |

Iwobi has dropped his concluding speech. We move. Its not a red to me. But one lesson we should probably use next Afcon is the tantrums. We don't need be perfect at it, but we can use it, especially in the box. The officiating is quite biased in such cases.
Meanwhile...

Someone that bets and wants what he or she took to be the only outcome will be in rage and can issue curses and death threats such as seen days back, even till now.
I've seen a guy cry his eyes out for that Ghana comoros game. He picked a win for Ghana. He was Nigerian. He still curses till now+The SE lose. He can have hbp if his bet doesn't click again this Afcon. |

Barryseal: I don't understand what you mean that we are the better team compared to other African teams going to the Mundial. Our world cup preliminary round qualifiers was poor and ultimately saw the coach loose his job. We couldn't even beat a ragtag Tunisian team in the 2nd round of the Afcon. But somehow we are the best team going to the Mundial (we haven't even qualified yet). When you say historically, are you saying Nigeria has better records at the world cup than the rest of Africa?
Please there was nothing memorable about the Iceland match. The first half was a bore fest while the 2nd half was just enough to beat Iceland who historically are the smallest country ever to qualify for the World Cup whilst making their debut. Chest beating about winning Iceland tells a sad story of our current state of football. Not talking of Currently but overall Performance. |
