MetalJigsaw: The guy is simply a joy to watch as an AM. Just play Mikel behind him, that's the way to go!
Iwobi is very unpredictable so when playing the AM role. Add that to his passing ability and impressive vision. Im I the only one that feel that the Mikel combo wouldn't work efficiently as we imagine? Mikel loves to hold the ball. Iwobi is an attacking speedster. Would these two blend. This would make Iwobi kinda stifled. What dyu think. See the transition of Iwobi when attacking.... Would Mikel offer such fluidity? |

peterd53: Oga V.moses just deh arrogant. Wat has he achieve compare to Mikel? D guy doesn’t just take d national team serious. He’s just a player with attitude similar to Kevin.p. Boateng Pls don't be subjective with these kind of opinions. Why would any Nigerian wana downplay the importance of VicMo in all those years of service? Yeah he got swollen at a point, but let's not forget also that when he was "flopping" there wasn't even a replacement from among his teammates to add spark and big difference to our boring attack. Is that hard to see? Im one of those many that criticized him when he was selfish and all, but don't let us ever downplay the important role he contributed to the team. And the Mikel comparism is way way off pls. Haba. We are in a new era of player power. I think we should realize that soon. Ozil is a good example. same for Costa and the likes. |

TheSuperNerd: Lol... Time will tell soon enough shaa. It is the first game on Saturday on return to EPL action.
On Victor Moses, well, I don't see him competing with Hazard. I see that more as playing backup to Hazard. The guys he is really up against are Pedro and William coz he got no chance displacing Hazard now. Good thing he is getting a couple of mins at Chelsea here and there but I still feel a player of Moses' talents deserve more. 'Shame how he has been relegated to bit part roles.
On your dream to see him return to the SE. Well, Rohr still spoke on that recently and is still keeping the doors open for the man, Victor. Very courteous of Rohr but I don't know if Victor will take that return ticket. And even if he does return, not all Nigerians will have nice things to say. Expect Savage comments like, "Ohhh now he realizes it should have been the other way round right? Retire from the Chelsea bench to focus on your international career..." These and many more will pop up and it won't be an easy walk into the side as Musa is a sure starter now and Iwobi is also in wicked form. Moses Simon is there and has always been a Rohr Favorite and key player and the rising Samuel Kalu and Henry Onyekuru are also waiting in the picture of things.
Well, like I always say, time will tell. Let's see if Victor rescinds his decision because as it currently stands, the Super Eagles are still soaring even without him. No be Willian wey go soon disappear? Pedro cannot sustain the tempo so I still see VicMoses seeing at least 10games this season, except he flops. I know many see him as arrogant(i can't agree less sometimes), but what would make someone just wana hang the boots just so fast..... I believe questions are more than answers, but there is much to worry about. This era where footballers are just been mismanaged even in Europe of all places. I guess this is a new era in pro football. Iwobi would down Leicester if he comes on as a sub. Let Ramsey start to me. what dyu think. Will Nacho find the net? |

martyns303: Funny enough my gf used to love it, when she comes around after hectic week, I just tell her to chill while I take care of how. Now she feels as a woman it's her responsibility do be doing all those things, at the same time she feels she's not doing it well enough. So she finds its frustrating. Exactly. I like the part you wrote "as a woman" The man shouldnt be expected to be in the kitchen week in week out while she sits in the parlour doing whatever. That's what most of these girls don't get. It's very good if he can, but they feel it's a wildcard to forever staying and watching him takeover. OYO is their case. Lazy lots. Dem never jam yet. |

Okay, so EPL action... Obviously, your mind dey for Sarriball (aka sarrismo) vs Mourinho naa. I dunno, but I have this angle that Mou might just take this one despite the poor run of form. But Sarri na baba o. Loved when I heard him saying VicMoses has to compete with Hazzy for a playing spot. I pray it increases his output and then he cancels retirement for GWG. we would have a beast at Afcon. oh gosh I didn't think of that angle. How GWG fans would react if VicMo returns to make the afcon team. shirt. Wahala go dey o. |

komekn: I raised this question ❓ quite some time ago that this guy had given good service to the SE and sometimes at great cost.
And the young man resigns in other countries they would refuse to accept the resignation and find a way to resolve any differences or issues.
And some here essentially said, "Good riddance"
And I in addition got the usual abuse. I'm not comfortable with the way the Press doesn't seem interested in finding out why he just chose to hang the boots. This guy has really done a great service far above the performance and output of most of his current GWG teammates. Even when he flops, his teammates don't even take over. they watch. I don't get why he is treated like this. Perhaps this has the handwriting of the Glass House on it!!!! Even Pinnick isn't saying a word. |

Joebie: I think if Nigeria meets a team at par with us in terms of talents, the better tactical manager will carry the day. Rohr might be able to do well among African teams, butI doubt him improving outside Africa. For, now, i'm happy we've put to the grave, the tag that Claude le Roy gave us in 2008. Rohr has faith, but he keeps showing that he isn't a fast reactor of all that he observes from the sidelines. Does he need an ex footballer as an assistant of sorts for that? Lol. |

TheSuperNerd: Super Eagles goalscoring and assists stats: The current forwards and wing forwards/wingers
Ahmed Musa: 17 goals, 11+ assists in 76 appearances.
Odion Jude Ighalo: 10 goals, 2 assists in 25 appearances.
Kelechi Iheanacho: 8 goals, 6 assists in 21 appearances.
Victor Moses (retired): 12 goals, 7+ assists in 38 appearances.
Moses Simon: 4 goals, 2 assists in 21 appearances.
Samuel Kalu: 1 goal, 1 assist in 3 appearances.
Yekini's record: 37 goals, 3+ assists in 57 appearances. Only Kelechi can get closer to Yekini's record under the same number of games provided he scores every 2games in GWG. Kelechi can also break the record but with a higher number of games. He can get 50+ goals in the number of app as Musa's!!! @76 As regards Kalu, he will need to be a Lionel Messi to even break Obagoal's own record, or Odegbami's. |

Joebie: I just watched the replay of the match.
I want to say, as it stands, we top the group and we would likely win our last two games. I’m impressed with the outcomes of our games but I’m not impressed with our play. But well, it’s better to win and not play well, than the other way around. In an ideal world, I would like to see SE really stamp their authority in the way they string their passes and control the game. Well, I can’t complain. We are doing the needed. The pocket of spaces the Libyans got behind our midfield was too too much and I wonder why our coach was seeing this and was simple watching and even sting late. He should have subbed off Etebo and brought in Ogu, but he was doing that late after their comeback. Note well the areas they got their setpieces to score. Aina was drawing back instead of challenging for the ball for that second goal. Ndidi I expected to behave just made me sad. Or should I blame Rohr no thinking he could play all 90, get tired and with the DMF tole in him, not expect him to foul players? |

krattoss: was ndidi involved in the brawl at the end of the match? He outran his marker and the guy held him back near the corner flag. Naso linesman raise flag call for foul, in split seconds the Libyan defender was shoving him and he was resisting Naso ref come give Ndidi yellow, meaning he is to miss the SA match. Annoying. I guess the ref misunderstood the linesman that called for a foul on Ndidi. |

Mickael2: This may not be a popular opinion but Iwobi is not our solution. He is creative no doubt, but he is not a controller. At 2 goals up we were still playing at the pace the Libyans want us to play, same thing in the first leg. If Iwobi cannot control a match against Libya will he manage against any other team? Libya controlled the first leg and should have scored way more, they are controlling this one and should be level or even ahead but we are lucky.
Ndidi, I wonder why nobody criticises him, he is doing absolutely nothing. We attack Etebo for holding on to the ball too much but Ndidi does nothing, he does not chase the ball, he just has an automatic shirt which makes no sense. I watched the Algeria match and Ogu is a good controller, without Mikel he should be playing a part in all our matches, he will offer way more with Etebo than Ndidi He was on a yellow and I'm very very sure Rohr told him to play it safe which he was doing cos thats unusual from Ndidi on a normal day, but I got angry with that yellow which was a stupid call from the official. I hope they appeal that crappy yellow card. Nonsense Ref!!! Iheanacho is now safe to play SA. |
