I think the fact that many managers dunno how to Play to the strength of the pointman is one thing that makes African football tiring.

Take Germany for example

They can have Kai, Klose, Muller, Gotze, fullkrig etc and once any comes on, the structure adjusts to suit their strengths and a goal can come out under 5 mins.

We are blessed with forwards than ever before, but this team can't even play to the strength of 3 of them. But we can flourish in inviting not only the one on a drought form, but also the same one that can't even fit in even if they're playing to his strength and he's making jeering remarks online. We truly need creative maestros and right now, with the way our cadet teams are right now, none exists. None!! They may be good, but they can't even catch global attention like Mikel that year till now.

If you're going to base your pattern on crosses because you want to buy Osimhen then you will need to get wingers who are good crossers. If you will limit Saka and Martinelli to crosses then you won't get the best from them. They are goal scorers not crossers. With them, you don't need a striker.

In our pattern, we create the chance from one wing and finish at the other. The goal against Chelsea is the latest example.
If you read all that and this is your reply to that then im highly disappointed. We meuve

I keep asking, at our worst (injuries, competition, form, officiating, etc), can anyone confidently argue Scamteta can be the difference for us? My answer has always been no and remains no!

There are teams who suffer similar injuries and issues but the fanbase is not as rattled because they trust their coach will make up the difference! That is how I rate my coaches. This scam needs all of his first 11 before we can even dream of watching good football, make we no even talk 3 points.

I will be honest and tell you, even if we sign Gyokeres, Sesko, Isak, J. David and every available striker you can think of, Scamteta will still ruin and misuse them.

Essentially, we have become top 4 contenders again. Chelsea is now above Arsenal on the log! This is so annoying and shameful.
What is most painful now is nobody dey to convince Kroenkes that we need help in January. We have a gulf in administration right now and backstage brouhaha is brewing while the main stage is mediocre in last 2 months. It is better we are bested than for us to self-destruct o. Abeg!!

We need our own Harry Wilson. Even if na loan. We can't even point to one attacking prospect on the bench that can come in and change any game in 5mins. NONE. 70% OF ATTACK dies when Saka is not on pitch.

We created chances but until una realize say we get finishing problem, una no go know when everything scatter. You can't execute such a hectic season with such a bench. You can't even use Sterling. So why get him? Man is not even as 'good' as GJ, as hilarious as that sounds. I want an Arsenal that we will be comfortable without Odegaard, Saka and Partey on the pitch.

Till then

Martinelli has been disappointing and has cost us some games with his finishing. He had the angle for that attempt on his strong foot.
he currently can't even beat his marker. He's making Gusto seem so great. If Reece James come, he'll make that one seem great too. Saka fouls alone means we need a subtle walk in scorer to win. They're kinda using the Inter approach but not as threatening or carefully at the back

Partey is the highlight of our first half.
Neto is the highlight of theirs

We need to start be smarter. They have 3 key players on yellow already.

As for Martinelli, i no like to dey talk him mata. But the fact that big solo chances always lands at his feet and probability of buying it is 3/10, naim dey vex me pass. undecided

Rice better be careful. This Chelsea mid highline is working. Nobody smart enough to run behind the lines so far. Else, Partey for don get Assist by now.

White abeg be very careful.

Crosses is not our pattern. So our team isn't designed for it. If we sign a striker now because we did crosses against Inter it would be an error.
Your still talking of pattern. Lol. It is not our pattern yet when our backs were against the wall, our manager decided to break the UCL record for crosses in a UCL game?? He resulted to crosses because a much more experienced team outsmarted him. He can as well just get Osimhen that will punish defenders with his aerial threats. Afterall, Saka is a good crosser, same for Odegaard and Rice. They'll rake up Assists easily. Goan watch Osimhen at Gala currently. Defenders can barely attempt to stand him. MA has show over and over again that he has nothing up his sleeves when pattern doesn't work. Not to talk of personnel quality. Don't worry, you'll come around. Let's face Palmer and Lavia for now

Arsenal should swallow their pride and start looking for necessary January buys to at least reduce this gap that Liverpool is trying to create. I don't see them stopping as far as Salah and Their CBs continue to remain fit every game. With what I'm seeing, it is time to capitulate on this Man City drop and distance ourselves now before Pep wakes up and does some Ws. Na who smart go reign.

We can't go all the way if we don't see 2 compulsory buys in January. We need it badly

If Liverpool don't bottle this lead (5 pts gap over City, 10 pts gap over Arsenal), then it would mean Salah having a big hand in their EPL title chase and eventual win (if they don't bottle).

So yep, Salah could get into the APOTY discussions strongly for 2025.
Guy knows it's his final ride and he wants to do it in style. Its more likely they'll clinch than City with such run of form. Man is everywhere in all time epl charts right now. Only he no just show for country.

Great to see Fulham pushing for top 6
I pray they sustain the momentum
If Iwobi and Smith are in top form and they get maybe a striker in January and let Harry Wilson continue his super sub form, they'll definitely finish in top 8.

Fulham
Bournemouth
Nottingham Forest
Brentford

These 4 are mid table teams that we can't point which will finish ahead of the other 3 currently. But Brentford and Forest are well loaded and coached. The other are more of coaching than loaded to see that form thru.

We showed a lack of courage with the way we managed the development of ESR and we are making the same mistake with Ethan. I feel like we missed a great opportunity to really help Nwaneri mature and grow in his game when our midfield was ravaged with injuries.

Nwaneri should have seen more minutes than he has seen thus far because he has justified it. I thought he could have started 1 game at least. Odegaard has returned and Arteta would rather take Rice with a broken toe or start a faltering Merino than give Ethan more minutes.

To be clear and honest, I was never sold on Iwobi on this thread. I didn’t and still don’t think he has what he takes to be an integral piece of a contender’s first team but he is too good for the bench. That isn’t a slight on him because he is a good first team player for a mid table team.

Overall, I am just happy to see the guys doing well. Not everyone will succeed at Arsenal.
True. Only that the kine patience our last two managers dey give some players, they no give Iwobi half of that before he was shipped off. Kai for example enjoyed loads of patience. But that ship has sailed as you said. Man is enjoying himself at Fulham this season so far. But sometimes i imagine him still at Emirates, but he's better where he is. Our manager go dey show bias with patience and minutes. Smh

Based on how we play, Isak fits better than Osimhen. But then we lacking more in goal scoring wingers than false 9s. Lookman should be your dream guy
Osimhen>>>>>>>

All those 400 crosses we wasted vs Inter Milan is one game that will make me prefer him. Isak can't bully those CBs in the air and still power down a threatening header in dying minutes. Osimhen can. We don't need false 9 again. That setup na wetin dey cause part of the rigidity of MA cos he'll be thinking how the same false go dey play double or triple roles instead of just their role.

As for Lookman, i can't wait to see we pulled through tomorrow. That's a player we need on that discouraging LW.

What will bring tears of joy to the eyes of Nigerians come AFCON is an Ademola and Osimhen banger. A click, a terror. A rejuvenated Victor. A clinical Victor. That will be scary for anyone. We already know Ademola's own is super assured. Having the two in a lineup and tearing defences apart and winning the afcon, MVP of tournament and APOTY alll coming to Nigeria.

Now that's a floodgate of tears of joy.
Music artistes will milk the vibes and drop song.
Streets will resonate with Live.
