Roland17: You are right Dave. Shakhtar definitely watched a lot of our games and made us uncomfortable every time they countered. We looked flat again and the players are also struggling with their team spirit. Sometimes i wonder if we watch them too. Like trying to exploit their weaknesses. Abi we just dey rely on our own abilities? That will be arrogant if we aren't mixing both |

BlueRayDick: Because we refused to score, our opponents have grown into the game 🤦♂️
Take away Odegaard and Saka then u see that this team is dead as far as creativity is concerned Kai is Kai because of those 2. Infact if he sees 1/2 besides him, he becomes Kai. Everything goes back to 0 or 2 when he's not playing with those 2. Runs, aerial wins, passes-bravo, but no threat, nothing. The man that ought to get deputies for this two is seeing how we lack threat, yet. I pray nothing do Gabriel Magalhaes cos he's doing way better than Saliba this new season. Martinelli should step up in Saka absence. Trossard and back passes that jeopardize this team sef See as he waste pk. These little things ought to count big on such nights Sterling? Abeg make i face front. Na efl and fa be hin own level. |

For this red card talk, I'll use the Mou template. When his boys were misbehaving, fo you recall how he curbed all that indiscipline and how they adjusted even after a yellow? It is time Arteta does something about it. But i won't be insensitive to not admit that PGMOL are hell bent on using us as the scapegoat. Why. Because we are on receiving end of many wrong calls that in other games with other teams, you'll hear new nonsense when same plays out. But our players need to be brought back to the self awareness junction, esp after a yellow. Saliba that is a swift player didn't need to do like that for that ball that will still bounce. Just that that interference of changing to red shows |

These are seasoned pro and regular SuperFalcons players , if he really wanted to widen the roster as said, he would have gone for those not regular with the Falcons in terms of game time..

TheSuperNerd: Chidi, Moshood, Faridat all got their ball striking on point. Afolabi should take a cue from them and choose power sometimes over placing curlers.
Ekezie. I hope the US don't exploit her so much in the Quarters.
As for Chidi, so glad she was even crowned Player of the match. Notice as i never focus on our gk. I no wan talk. I sha love that she has ball playing abilities. Our test lies in the KO stages. It's always been. I hope Moshood truly rest the 3rd game. We need her for the KO. Afolabi better wake up. Her workrate is 10times her height anyway |

Roland17: I am not sure what people expected. We start a defense of 4CBs in a flat line and 3 similar midfielders on a flat 3 midfield line. I mean, were we going up against Manchester City/ Liverpool away from home? We are supposed to be the better team here but we approach the game from an ultra defensive lineup.
I can understand we are without Saka/ Odegaard but how does that justify an ultra defensive line up and tactic against freaking Bournemouth. The middle was boring and flat without any creativity despite the amount of possession. Do you know what it means to play Merino/ Rice/ Partey on a flat 3 line in the middle?
Even if you want to start all 3, why not be creative with their set up? Heck, Merino was already tired by the 20th minute with his hands on his knees constantly. Then still allowing the long ball thing to continue when we all know Kai needs a mind reader alongside him to track where his headed balls would end up. Sterling just dey lookam😂 Abysmal setup and poor thinking of outcomes. Too conservative or worse. Merino for dey bench make Ethan start. Na Liverpool game go fit the Merino sef. But if na flat 3, na nonsense |

Top prospects from this u17 so far after 2 games and 6points in the bag: Effiong(15) RW. Her ball sense, feints and dribbles stand her out from her teammates. She's a big teamplayer too. She noticed Harmony getting frustrated and began to work harder to assist her striker when she can easily score a hattrick today by herself. Chidi Harmony(9) Still hibernating but what a striker. Just needs to allow others in tight space that she can't do much from. Dangerous with her left foot and dribbles Moshood Shukurat( The odegaard of the team. Still raw and has alot to add to her pace, vision, and shots to be a star. Abdulwahab Faridat won all aerial challenges and was even creating attack from deep. 2nd Best ball controller after Effiong in the squad. Animashaun(11): this geh na LW but she use throughball taya today. A counter attacking talent. |

All this chelsea finished product , if Harvetz like let him score next weekend and another, He is not a striker that a tittle challenging team should have. My question is when will the boy be given the opportunity to prove he’s capable, Ordegarrd is not around, this is the time to give him the chance, is it when our captain returns he’ll decide to give the boy his chance cause I’m not understanding this
One sure thing is the boy can’t bench Ordegarrd.
Gabriel is a good captain Emergency Response is low. I can understand his protecting Ethan. But this is emergency, play him till status quo returns instead of funny setups that are not helping. |

Roland17: I hope Chelsea can make a game out of tomorrow’s matchup, they have looked good recently and a win against Liverpool would do a lot to their confidence and for us it would it would minimize the consequence of today’s loss.
Irrespective of tomorrow’s result, I expect a strong response from Arteta against Liverpool. It is going to be a tough game but we have the edge, especially if we get some injury return. We will be without Saliba which would be tough but we have more than enough cover. a draw is best for us. If Chelsea win, their GD makes them push us down. If Liverpool win, they extend the gap between us. Im loving the statement Declan Rice made for this game. Captain material. That Liverpool encounter dey fear me i wont lie. Especially with this in form TAA and Diaz, not adding Salah. |

iamoyindamola: My issue with this man as always been the same He's not flexible with change he's too rigid and bloody pretender Our guy still dey play the IF cards. Maybe we are missing it with our observations. Cos i can't see how pointing out such lapses is now something any true fan must not do. Why can't they see the rigidity of his choices and the ripple effect? He's a coach and he needs to do better. If we had an Abramovich as owner, all these talk of "fans too dey lash out" no go dey. 15th placed Bournemouth. So we get red and that's already a sure banker that we will lose and fans are comfy with that. 3 red cards 3 games. 2 points out of a possible 9. Guess the one we lose? The Bournemouth one.
