It's obvious Arteta believes in Playing trossard as a makeshift playmaker in the absence of Odegaarf hence why Trossard did not replace Martinelli in the starting lineup.

Sterling didn't play badly against Bolton so it is understandable why Arteta decided to give him his first starting role in the EPL in a less serious match like Southampton.

I hope Sterling don't start going forward and only gets to play as a substitute till he shows some level of improvement in his play.

No problem. Before he arrived, his style is exactly how its been for years. Trossard should have started. Ethan was there to fill that other role for the temporary. Glad you mentioned that.
