They should be fast with their visit, before some rents expire........hope it won't take another decade. |
Every GEM beneficiaries awaiting 2nd tranche should air his/her voices through whatever media it deems fit. One of the grantees called me last weekend to inform how He closed down his business because of operating cost, and he has exhausted their sales revenue on operating cost and salaries without any hope of increasing their production because of limited fund. According to him, the 2nd tranche disbursement is meant for operating cost and production increase, and GEM has withheld this fund for so long. Question: How can he sustain his business if GEM PWC choose to hold his 2nd tranche payment for complete 2 years ? |
Unending delay to our 2nd tranche for over two years is wickedness to entrepreneurship. |
GEM has blocked all their medium of contacts against our complaints. No updates both online and offline. |
Nigerian is their worst enemy, and the funders, the World Bank should be aware of this. No international organization or Federal body should contract GEM, BIGportal or PwC Nigeria any project because there's alarming and untold corruption within this body. |
Let the world know that GEM through whatever contractor they are working with does not mean well for the beneficiaries. If you are planning to join the league of GEM just be ready for more shocks cos you will waste your hope on corrupt practices in Nigeria GEM through its unfair management has killed many businesses and counting by holding beneficiaries fund for more than 2 Years. Many businesses have collapsed because of GEM's long delay and maybe plan to convert grantee's fund to their own. We are taking business decision we never would have done if we had our 2nd tranche payment. Today, we are regretting being part of GEM beneficiaries. |
We couldn't believe that there would be another delay after the second supervision to release our 2nd tranche payment. Is it when we lost all our customers that the 2nd tranche will be released? We are giving up on the whole process. I personally attended yearly meeting organized by my major customers in the field last week Friday. Their questions about my products & services are worrisome, and it's discouraging, I can't face them anymore. We are giving up on all our efforts. These are the people I met early last year to inform them about our products & services, and till today we couldn't meet their major demand because of Delay in 2ND TRANCHE PAYMENT GEM, WHY?? ? ?? ? ? |
GEM programme is not living up to its expectation. It's total negligence after confirming how far I've gone to achieve my milestones through rigorous site supervision last month, still yet our second tranche could not be remitted to those of us that met it. Let it be on record that growth and employment program in Nigeria is an avenue to frustrate entrepreneurs and destroy their zeal to create jobs. |
The delay in 2nd tranche payment is killing our businesses. it's over 2 years now, and we can not completely operate our businesses because of the 2nd tranche. Is the delay a sinister plan to frustrate us out of the business ? |
If you think we've not done enough why don't you visit our business. We have setup a running business that is making a sale and need 2nd tranche to flare into full service production. Why must Nigeria factor be involve in any good program like this. |
We've just got a mail that our receipts were incomplete. OMG!! Our receipts were far above the total 1st tranche payment. What other Receipts GEM PWC wants us to send again, after we've sent a complete documentation of milestones expenses incurred. We are totally frustrated after we have spent our time, energy and resources to sustain our business to this level and they are still requesting for documents already sent. is this another form of delaying method to prolong our second tranche payment. GEM PWC should bear in mind that our businesses are seasonal, and during the raining season we might make lower or no sales at all. I regret being an entrepreneur in this country. The system and the people who are there to support you will frustrate you out of business. Instead of making more income, We are in the mercy of income; looking at the money we should be generating: wasting away because of 2nd Tranche disbursement. Thank to GEM PWC for proving us wrong as an entrepreneur, that we can't succeed with their fund. |
I bet He's Edo man..... |
The coordinator of GEM programme should please help our plights. The delay in 2nd tranche has affect our businesses, It has hampered our major sales which we could not start due to limited fund, The second tranche is meant to cover other areas of operation or run a full operation that could help us generate more income to be able to pay our workers, and keep the business into continuous operation. We were disappointed yesterday that we could not accept order to serve higher quantity and meet major customer's demand because of external fund to serve their needs. We turn down some orders because we cannot serve them even when we have the equipment to do so, but we can't because of fund to boost our service and business. Some times we wondered if the GEM programme is meant to empower the beneficiaries for economical growth or to frustrate the beneficiary and mock the Nigerian economy. How can a laudable program which meant to support Innovative SMEs withhold their second tranche for almost 2 years ? How do you want the business and startups to survive and grow ? Keeping us waiting for too long without contacting us is discouraging, at least we need your communication to know what's going on. Even when GEM coordinators have tried in their duty but then we are helpless and really need the 2nd tranche to support and boost our businesses. |

Trump Sold a $40 Million Estate to a Russian Oligarch for $100 Million—and a Democratic Senator Wants to Know Why A Democratic Senator wants the Treasury Department to hand over records relating to President Donald Trump’s sale of a Palm Beach estate which he bought for $41 million to a Russian oligarch for $95 million only four years later. "It is imperative that Congress follow the money and conduct a thorough investigation into any potential money laundering or other illicit financial dealings between the president, his associates, and Russia," wrote Senator Ron Wyden, an Oregon Democrat, reported ABC Friday. Donald Trump speaks during a campaign rally at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on October 24, 2016 in Tampa, Florida. Wyden, who sits on the Senate Intelligence Committee that is investigating alleged collusion between the Trump camp and Russia, wrote that the transaction between Trump and oligarch Dmitry Rybolovev is being probed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. In the request, he notes the timing of the 2008 sale, which came months after Trump Entertainment Resorts filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and while the then real estate mogul was struggling to find banks willing to lend to him. Trump has in the past attributed the mark up to renovations he made to the property, which he snapped up when the previous owner filed for bankruptcy. "What do I have to do with Russia?" Trump told a reporter in 2016. "You know the closest I came to Russia, I bought a house a number of years ago in Palm Beach, Florida... for $40 million and I sold it to a Russian for $100 million including brokerage commissions." The Trump Organization and Treasury Department has not commented on Wyden’s request. Wyden has requested Treasury Department Suspicious Activity Reports on the transaction, which are filed when officials suspect money laundering, and information on who purchased the estate when it was sold off in separate lots by Rybolovev to buyers operating through offshore companies. https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-sold-40-million-estate-155724850.html

Bestman22:It's located inter-bua junction or Summit road - Nnebisi road bypass. |
fatiaforreal:Thanks for the info, I didn't receive a msg that contains Batch 1 or Batch 2 statement, I got msg that looks like this GEM Project: Dear Grantee,So in other sense, I have already been credited, and I'm among the 1st Batch....just that there's issue with my bank, and they are resolving it. |
In my opinion, there's nothing like 2nd batch. It's disgusten when people mention that. It's banks logistics that's delaying the whole payments. It' depends on ur bank, and how good they are in putting up with huge amount of transactions like these automatically. Some of core banking system does not have real-time automated system. All we have to do is excercise more patients, bearing in mind that four weeks have not elapsed. |
thefunclubenterprise:It's not a GEM issue bro, it's bank probs. . . I'm using uba, have similar issue, and I've not recieved any alert. Called my a/c officer concerning my check, he said i should wait until i got my first alert. |
austynbch:I don't believe in hear say, and I should advise you never to buy anyone. If there're awardees who got any alert, the person ought to confirm here not you bro. Besides, yesterday was public holiday, and no bank opened there services, it's the same thing today. So, the big question is: Who among Access Bank staffs clicked transfer botton yesterday ? |
