Those coming to lefkosa (C.I.U & N.E.U), Rent off campus is in Pound sterling.. you can get a 3+1 (350-400pounds), 2+1(300-350) well furnished.. Most times, you are expected to pay straight 6months rent, extra 1/2month(s) deposit and agent fee(which is one month rent) making it a total of 8/9months (e.g 300*9=2700pounds, excluding utility bills)..
Some of our brothers here have made things difficult for the fresh, innocent ones like us..lol, what do I mean?
Some landlords would rather rent their apartments to a Zimbabwean than a Nigerian, Some banks will never open accounts for Nigerians..

Funny enough, our Zimbabwean sisters wey dey do rons (winks) for here, tell their clients that they are from Nigeria..Can you imagine?

well this is the advice I have for aspiring medical doctors......

1. don't come and study medicine because your parents forced you too. I guarantee you, you would live a very unfulfilled life...

2.Dont study medicine for the money....before you start making mega bucks in this country as a doctor, you go don old (though you would be comfortable)

3. during your house-job and[b] nysc, learn as much surgical skills as you can because that where the money is, so that when you are out, your skills can fetch you good money[/b]

the last nugget....treat each patient the way u want a doctor to treat u

happy 7 year stay in school

I have bn humiliated in this turkish embassy...my appointment was scheduled for 2nd..I ws at d embassy very early that day, buh because of the crowd, I wsnt attended to till about 5:15pm, when one man came out and said we should go that d consular is tired..ok today bn monday, about 11 of us came bck, d didn't attnd to us till bout 5pm, wen got in d white man was pissed that the allowed us(friday) in without letting him know, so he left leaving us frustrated..I don't even know what to do anymore..hv bn here since 27th.. Jst tired

I came across this thread and I chatted with the OP, sent him samples of the shoes I wanted. I went ahead to deposit some amount of money into Mr. Mexioni's account even without meeting him for the first time to help make 2 pairs of shoes. Guess what, he didn't fail me..
He delivered the shoes at the appropriate time..

Atleast, someone bought the one way ticket here with emirate airline, i am not the first person and i am not the only one here going to North Cyprus, and i dont know why they wont say anything about it, maybe they can afford the roundtrip.

I have got no plans to pay for 'roundtrip'.. I would use Turkish, one way.. Its nt stated anywhere in th immigration rules n reg that it must be 'roundtrip'.. Its only the airlines that hv their own policies..e.g, I heard Egypt airlines only allows 'roundtrip' dnt knw how true it is shaa.. So go ahead with ur plans.

You don't have to keep on asking people when they apply....have taken my time to explain to you,be patient else you might do what u shouldn't have done and come back here askin on how to correct it maybe then no one will give ears to your worries.

It depends,one might be lucky they will reply the next day or less than a week and some will be weeks but less than a month but if it exceed a month,book again and call them.
My point is,they don't have a fixed time frame in replying.

Ok, if you still wish to re apply with the same school admission, may sure you follow the school rules(by paying d semester fees) or better still, get another admission from another school as u said and apply immediately... Good luck!!!

Thanks.. Is it necessary to print another reference letter from the bank??I'm thinkn of printin only a new SOA then use the former reference letter since its just a form of confirmation thaþ d sponsor has an account wit so so bank..what do u tink?

Your first application (denied) were u ask to pay , and share ur profile on it, so the house can sharp sharp tackle am...(2). If you are giving the admission now, no wait till November/ December before u apply. What course are u going for... U.G or PGD or PG...

Thanks for your concern.. I was told 'payment' of a semester tuition was a means of confirmation of admission, I wanted to pay but I had lil issh wit my bank and time was against me so I applied without paying..I'm going for a PGD program. Thanks

Can someone please answer the question I asked earlier, thanks and sorry for disturbing oo.. I just got to know about this thread early hours of today. I was denied visa early this year, reasons thicked: (1)family ties here and in canada. (2) assets and financial smtn..(Lol)! Although i didn't pay my fees..

I hv applied to a college now for january 2016, waiting for a response. If they send an admission letter this month, can I go ahead to apply for visa or wait till nov/dec?thanks
