Wolgrace:I agree with seeking God's Power to Overcome through the Holy Spirit. Just that it seems you believe in an automatic salvation of ONLY grace, without conscious effort or Choice to Obey His Words. Not sure, but if so, we might as well be called programmed Robots then. Believing in Jesus ALONE CANNOT SAVE anyone. Even the devil and all the demons also believe there's God and that the Scripture (the Bible) was inspired by God. But they DO NOT obey, and neither can they be holy. And our faith won't be any better than theirs if we DO NOT obey too. Just as a human body is DEAD without the Spirit, likewise one's Faith is DEAD without WORKS of Obedience to Jesus as recorded in the New testament. Many of us only focus more on the external things for people to see or notice; creating good or religious impression on others; like great church activities, etc. But God is not necessarily impressed with JUST the External things we FOCUS so much on, which is secondary. But the main thing is the "foundation" of OBEDIENCE to God's Words. There's real need for judging oneself and getting rid of every form of Hypocrisy or mere Religious Acting (looking HOLY on the outside, but thoroughly worldly inside: SINS or wickedness in the Heart), before our time runs out. We need to humble ourselves before God, and get GRACE to obey; not just being EMPTY Hearers, Readers and even Teachers or Speakers of the Word. Lest we remain terribly FOOLED by "a form of godliness" without the Power to actually please God: living in False Reality. (See James 1:23-25) Jas.1.22 - But BE doers of the word, and NOT hearers ONLY, "deceiving" yourselves. Jas.2.19 - You "believe" that there is one God. You do well. EVEN the demons believe--and tremble! Jas.2.24 - You see then that a man is "justified" by WORKS, and NOT by faith ONLY. One of the MARKS of a humble and Real Believer or Servant of God is paying attention to EVERY little detail of God's Word. Pride and Selfishness is what makes us look at some things written CLEARLY in the Bible, especially the New testament and say something like, "Huh, those are NOT very important commandments of God". Wow! We must be TERRIBLY IMPORTANT to decide which one is IMPORTANT and which is not; what to obey and what NOT to obey. May God have mercy on us and give us light. These problems are most times rooted in different Church or denominational doctrines of Men. When GREAT RELIGIOUS LEADERS or Church Founders don't do and teach them, then their BOND followers and fans couldn't care less too. Because the Words of these Great Men are MUCH MORE important. In other words, these GREAT men are their Real "gods". But Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the Bible can WAIT. Now, that's REALLY Sad! It's as though those great Pastors, Prophets and Church founders of ours are those who will DETERMINE whether we shall make it into Heaven or Not. And neither will they be the ones to Judge on the Judgement day! Matt.5.19 - Whoever therefore BREAKS one of the least of these commandments, and TEACHES men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; ... Far too many Church leaders and founders are particularly good at this: teaching their followers some "favourite" laws or traditions, couple with their Self or Church-made traditions: Mark.7.7 - And in VAIN they WORSHIP Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments OF MEN.' Mark.7.8 - For laying ASIDE the commandment of God, you hold the TRADITION of men... Down below are some most commonly ignored or DISOBEYED "clear cut" commandments of God's Word: 1. Taking Religious Titles, and CALLING religious men names like 'Father' and other common titles: In Matt.23.8, Jesus, talking to his disciples - 'Don't ever let ANYONE call you 'Rabbi' for you have ONLY ONE teacher, and ALL OF YOU are on the SAME LEVEL as "brothers and sisters". It's VERY CLEAR that all titles like Pastor, Prophet, Reverend, Bishop, Pope, Etc are NOT acceptable. MOREOVER: Matt.23.9 - Do not "call" ANYONE on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. Matt.23.10 - And DO NOT be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ. Titles exalt Men above whom they've called to serve. It's still true even if most of us ignore or disobey it. 2. Women should not TEACH nor take any position of AUTHORITY in the Church: 1Cor.14.34 - Let your women KEEP SILENT in the churches, for they are NOT PERMITTED to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. 1Tim.2.12 - And I DO NOT PERMIT a woman to TEACH or to have AUTHORITY OVER a man, but to be in silence. It's clear women ought NOT to be Pastors, Prophets, and the likes in the Church. But they can however prophesy and teach other women. Titus 2:4; Acts 2:17 Remember, there was no woman among the 12 disciples of Jesus (the First Apostles). 3. Give to Caesar what is his before GIVING to God: The Bible also says OWE no man ANYTHING but to LOVE. Many of us want to be SUPER SPIRITUAL by giving to a Religious Man or Church first because of VAIN "prophetic" promises. But the Bible says pay all DEBTS and FORGIVE others before bringing your gifts. Matt. 22:21; ROM. 13:8 4. i. You CANNOT SERVE God AND Mammon. Matt. 6:24 ii. You CANNOT serve God and Men. Gal. 1:10; 1 John 5:21 5. Deny yourself, take up the Cross daily and FOLLOW Jesus. Matt. 16:24 6. Give Cheerfully, not out of compulsion or by FORCE. 2 Cor. 9:7: This goes against all mandatory TITHING, First fruits laws, Service, and all other COMPULSORY demands of Men. Romans 10:4 KJV For Christ is THE END of the law for righteousness to "every one" that believeth. 7. Lay up yourself TREASURES in heaven, NOT here on Earth. Matt. 6:19-21 AND: Take heed that No One (a Pastor/Prophet or just Anyone) DECEIVES you. Matt. 24:4, 24. 8. Bless, don't CURSE your enemies. Love them. Matt. 5:43 9. Do not seek Honour of Men. Do your good deeds in SECRET before God NOT Men. Matt. 6 10. Judge not, judge yourself FIRST, and not be a hypocrite. Matt. 7. 11. Clean the inside of the Cup (the heart) First, and the outside will be clean also. Matt. 23:24 12. And so on in the Bible, especially the New testament. Obviously, this is NOT for everyone, but only for those of us who have got Ears to Hear. God's POWER is sufficient for us to Obey if we WANT to. We shouldn't limit ourselves to some self-customized, MIXED denominational doctrines or traditions of GREAT Men and Churches. So as NOT miss God's approval and other SPIRITUAL blessings (not just earthly blessings). We really need to START taking OBEDIENCE to God's Word seriously, NOT on profit-minded Men or Churches. Jas.4.17 - Therefore, to him WHO KNOWS to do good and does not do it, to him it is SIN. John.14.15 - "If you LOVE Me (Jesus), KEEP My commandments. May Lord Jesus bless you. |

Apparently, many good or innocent people are being led astray by UNREPENTANT greedy Preachers and Church founders; hence, there is much need to keep warning and exhorting people, especially the "spiritually needy" ones and "new" believers in Christ to take heed of COMMON things or TRICKS of these False Prophets/Church founders. But to rather seek the REAL THINGS of Christ. Moreover, rather than being Real Worshippers in Truth and in Spirit, lots of believers (both the Old and New) are becoming more and MORE of "addicts" or BOND SLAVES of Big Pastors and Profit-driven Churches of Men. Over the years, these False Men have trained people to believe the wrong or OPPOSITE side of Christ (as Antichrists they are). One of these areas is about the Holy Spirit and his manifestations. To some it's about making NOISE, the higher the noise the higher the anointing, I suppose. It could be a NOISY Preaching, Prayer, Songs and musical instrument. We might as well say they are getting a NOISY SPIRIT, not the Holy Spirit. Another very common one among False Prophets is to cause people to FALL DOWN. I think it should as well be called the FALLING DOWN Spirit. Some of them seemingly use some MAGICAL POWERS that get people to start feeling dizzy or weak; to shake or even throw them off the ground. While many others just get people by the head and push them till they fall backwards. And of course, there are sometimes these "spirit catchers" behind these VICTIMS to support or keep them from getting hurt as they FALL under the "anointing". It's all a way of BRAINWASHING people, whether by magical power, psychological or just whipping up people's emotions by using a Slow to VERY FAST Musical Session. And when people start rotating, shouting, clapping and dancing ALL at the same time, NATURALLY their bodies get frustrated then they start to FALL DOWN, roll on the ground, shout, shake. This is particularly common with women in these churches. I wonder if they get PAID to act those emotional drama, or they're innocent people who love those "dramatic deceptions". The major problem is not the falling down, shouting and the likes, but do they get a CHANGE of Life? NO! Anything sign of the fruit of the Spirit? Probably ZERO! So what's the use of all that FALLING and SCREAMING? Beware! It's ALL just "Religious Rubbish" of False Men. Jesus didn't PUSH people down, instead he RAISED people up. It would be wonderful if these people are made to fall down, and later get up to start living Holy and following Jesus. No, they go back home right in their usual Sins. And that's after "the Great Church-Magician" must have collected his PAY (Offering and other Random Charges) for his Great BRAINWASHING performance of getting people to start falling down, shouting, shaking, weeping, roaring like a lion, rolling on the ground: UNDER the roofs of DOING deliverance or claiming the MOVE of the Holy Spirit. If it's truly the Holy Spirit; then ultimately, people would become HOLY or Christlike in Reality, and also FORSAKE their OLD Sinful Ways of Sin and Worldliness. Besides, if someone is really EAGER TO Fall down, he/she doesn't really need the wicked service of these False Prophets. He/she could just get "properly" DRUNK and fall down till he/she gets VERY TRIED of falling. It's that simple. If we are truly seeking the TRUTH humbly, The Holy Spirit will lead us into the true Righteousness and Holiness of Christ. Which means we bear GOOD fruits: Gal.5.22 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, Gal.5.23 - gentleness, self-control. Against such THERE IS NO LAW. And what if all Churches or fellowship gatherings we have around us are all False, or are obviously part of those Churches born and bred by False Pastors and Founders? Of course, we can get into our rooms secretly on our own, pray and ASK GOD for the Holy Spirit, provided we are Honest and TRULY HIS, living in obedience to his Words as written in the New testament. Then we can trust him to bless us, and FILL us with the Holy Spirit in order to DO HIS WILL. And the PROOF will be MAJORLY the POWER to live HOLY and SERVE Him, "not" to FALL DOWN, Yell, Roll on the ground and the likes. Acts.1.8 - But you shall RECEIVE POWER when the Holy Spirit has COME UPON YOU; and you shall be WITNESSES to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the END OF THE EARTH." (NOT to fall down, SCREAM and lose control; IN FACT, if it's truly the Holy Spirit, you should get MORE self-control to please God, NOT less). It's time to get our eyes on the Reality of Jesus, not False Religious Men. And only seek to FOLLOW Christ's Example like Paul and other Apostles of Christ. Not these Money and Honour seeking False Religious Men, and their FALSE Spirits in their False Churches. May the Lord Jesus bless you. |

It's very pathetic to see the way MANY are being deeply eaten up by religious LIES or tricks of Men these days. And more pathetic is our "addiction" and WORSHIP of these great Religious Men. That's one of the major reasons why I've deemed it fit to stress more and MORE ON deception of great Men/Church. Jesus did scold some GREAT religious men of his time SITTING ON MOSES' SEAT, but were actually leading people astray. Likewise today, MANY Small and GREAT Pastors/Church founders are SITTING on Jesus' SEAT in Churches or Worship centres, seriously leading people astray: Matt.23.1 - Then Jesus said to the CROWDS and to his DISCIPLES: Matt.23.2 - "The 'teachers of the law' and the Pharisees (Money-loving Preachers) sit in Moses' seat. Sadly, people FEAR and LOVE these Pastors, Men MORE than Jesus. They would TREMBLE at the doctrines of their Pastors/Churches, but when they come across something DIFFERENT from what they've learnt while reading the Bible directly, or from just listening to another preacher using the Bible, they wouldn't bother at about it, or just a little bit. That's honestly because the Pastors/Churches are the REAL "gods" for them: the FEAR and the WORSHIP of Men not Jesus. They're TOO FIXED or engulfed with Men/Church, not even Jesus can UNFIX them to get balanced. The Bible says, ALL MEN (every human) are LIARS compare to Christ. (Rom. 3:4). Now, all what I'm saying may sound GREAT or correct to you, right? Okay, but if you're "NOT" CAREFULLY TESTING my writings and beliefs by the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit, you know I can FOOL you too right, left and centre? Or do you KNOW my Life: my attitude to Money, Honour of Men (Popularity), and to Sins in general? What matters most is the LIFESTYLE/Character, not just good Preaching, Teaching, appearance and other GIFTS or things. Exactly why the Holy Spirit commended the Berean Christians for DEALING with Paul and the other Apostles "thoroughly", and NOT the Thessalonian Christians. (Acts 17:11) Those Bereans didn't have "what I call" the Baba/Papa/Father/Bishop/G.O/Pastor/Pope/Prophet "So and So" Spirit we CALL Men today (Jesus commanded his disciples NOT to be called SUCH Names or Titles. Nor to call ANYBODY such, because we ALL are supposed to be "brothers and sisters" in Christ). PLEASE see Matt. 23:7-12. They (the Bearen ones) would say something like, "Okay Paul (or bro.), you sound very great to us, but we shall SURELY have to SERIOUSLY check up everything you are teaching in the scriptures before we can "stomach" it all." Not like MOST of us today, "Oh, it's Baba/Pastor Judas OR Prophet Balaam (since Men like Paul are terribly SCARCE), Wow! That Powerful Man that can COMMAND PROSPERITY into your life with just a word. Hallelujah! Deception! Religious LIES of Men! And TOO MANY people are getting FOOLED because of the LOVE of the things of this World, and also the fear and the WORSHIP of men (idolatry). No doubt, these men enjoy being "gods" to people. Because they wouldn't ENCOURAGE their members and fans to study the Bible seriously for themselves. And if they do, they wouldn't be particularly HAPPY to see them coming to the knowledge of TRUTH, which would SPOIL their Religious Money-making business. Not many will take this message, but for the "very few" of us who will respond to God's promptings in the heart, let's major on Repentance, Obedience, "Studying And Obeying" the Words of Jesus as in the New testament (Matthew chapters 5, 6 and 7 is a good start). And seek to FOLLOW Men who are Christlike, not just in Words/Preaching/Spiritual gifts, but ESPECIALLY in deeds, attitudes and LIFESTYLES in general. Remember, No Pastor/Prophet/Church founder died and resurrected for our Sins BUT Jesus one. True Men say like John: John 3:30 KJV He (Jesus) must INCREASE, but I MUST DECREASE. It's time to EXAMINE ourselves honestly and Repent of Fearing, Loving and Worshipping Men/Churches, rather than Jesus. Matthew 7:15 KJV Beware of False Prophets, which come to you in "Sheep's Clothing" (means Correct doctrines, Bible, terms, etc), but INWARDLY they are 'ravening wolves' (to BITE your Money, Attention or Commitment to their Church business). 1 John 5:21 KJV Little children, KEEP yourselves FROM idols (living and nonliving idols). Of course, "Antichrist" simply means "Against Christ". Just like we would use "antimalaria" to FIGHT AND "get rid" of malaria; likewise spiritually, Little little antichrists' MAIN GOAL is to FIGHT and "get rid" of Christ and His Kingdom in believers' LIVES, so that they can ENTER into condemnation and Perish for ALL Eternity! Remember, Jesus did say we can't be lukewarm or just NEUTRAL: Matt.12.30 - He who is NOT with Me is AGAINST Me, and he who DOES NOT GATHER with Me SCATTERS abroad. Surely, THE Main Antichrist is still to come, but the Bible warns about Little little Antichrists: 1 John 2:18 KJV Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that Antichrist SHALL COME, "even now" are there MANY "antichrists" (little, little ones); whereby we know that it is the last time. We don't know who THE Antichrist will be. He will surely be a World Ruler, whom the devil will personally possess, BUT WHO ARE THESE Little little antichrists to PREPARE the way for him? These are MIXTURES of Political Power, Worldly Power AND "RELIGIOUS Power". No doubt, MANY OF US ARE ALREADY being deceived, and still MANY MORE will be terribly DECEIVED. (Please, watch out!) 2 John 1:7 KJV For MANY DECEIVERS ARE "entered" into the World, who CONFESS NOT that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a DECEIVER and an Antichrist. Now, to CONFESS NOT that Jesus has come in the flesh means to DENY that Jesus came has a Man like us in REALITY of ones Life. Hence, they DECEIVE people by SAYING or giving an impression that we "cannot" live (holy) as HE DID. That makes them Antichrists: 1John.2.6 - He who SAYS he abides in Him OUGHT himself also to WALK (life of the Cross) just as He walked (as "an ordinary" Man, denying himself of his Abilities as God). Truly, the LIVES of Paul and the OTHER Apostles makes it very clear how we ought to live. And if we don't or won't; then sadly, we MUST be ANTICHRISTS (whether Great or Small alike). The point above is one of THE MOST IMPORTANT reasons why I personally no longer RESPECT and FOLLOW MANY "Great" Christian Leaders or Church founders: having Great Gifts, Prosperity, Popularity, Political-correctness, ETC. BUT having the CROSS, the "lifestyle" of Jesus (or like that of people like Paul, a former Antichrist) MISSING in their lives. (Please see Phil. 3:17-20) 2Thess.2.3 - Let NO ONE DECEIVE you by any means; for that Day (the RAPTURE) will not come UNLESS the "falling away" (the backsliding of GREAT and Small Christians) COMES FIRST, and the "man of sin" is revealed, the son of perdition (the ANTICHRIST himself). Unlike what MANY Christians or Churches still believe, the above clearly teaches that the GREAT TRIBULATION (to be mastered by The Antichrist) WILL COME before the Rapture. (Also see Rev. 7:14; Matt. 24:22. Nonetheless, we've got to be SERIOUS to make clear our STAND these days: FOR or AGAINST Christ. As it says above, no doubt that the great FALLING AWAY, backsliding is REALLY already ON! Especially with the Christian Leaders, and it's spreading to their followers like the plague. The devil only need JUST ONE or FEW Powerful Christian Leaders to DECEIVE and lead Millions ASTRAY. And it's not very interesting to see that they are already talking about PEACE AND UNITY and fellowships with Antichrists (false Religions). All sounds great in the flesh, but Jesus and his apostles didn't hold hands with Antichrists (False Religions) nor Politicians. On whose side are we, Jesus or Men? Are we Gathering or Scattering? We must KNOW the LIVES (not just the Words or Gifts) of whomever we are following. So as to KNOW WHETHER to CONTINUE with them or NOT. It's amazing to see some UNCONVERTED Bible Teachers or Worldly Church Critics coming out to ATTACK great Pastors, Prophets and Church founders. What seems to be more amazing is that they seem to have MORE light than REAL believers about Religious/Church Lies or deceptions of Great Men, but still thoroughly deceived themselves. We must be careful to NOT hold hands with the accuser of brethren, the devil. All in the name of exposing False Pastors/Prophets of great churches: Titus.3.2 - They (true believers) MUST NOT "speak evil" of ANYONE, and they MUST AVOID "quarreling". Instead, they should be GENTLE and show TRUE HUMILITY to everyone. " That tells me that just having understanding or light on deceptions is NOT the main thing, but Reality: living in Obedience and abiding in Christ daily; the way of the CROSS of Christ. Some of these "unconverted" Church Critics say a lot of things which are "unfortunately" TRUE about Great Religious Men/Churches. However, what's the use of being in DARKNESS: living a FALSE LIFE and yet trying to EXPOSE darkness. I think that's a MUCH HIGHER LEVEL of deception! And I believe the devil is happy with BOTH SIDES of these deceptions (with the "religious unconverted critics" AND the False/Backslidden Preachers/Church founders they try to ATTACK). Please, if you're REALLY SERIOUS about Eternal life, and NOT want to go astray or STOP going astray; FIRST, don't look out for just these Religious Men's Gifts or anointing: great preaching or teaching, Bible Knowledge, singing voice or speech, Miracles or signs and wonders, prosperity and popularity, ELOQUENCE and charm, talents or skills, ETC. Matt. 24:24 These are what DECEIVE us, and even some unbelievers, church critics seem to sometimes have MORE light. 1Sam.16.7 - But the LORD said to Samuel, "Don't "judge" BY HIS APPEARANCE or height, for I have REJECTED HIM. The LORD doesn't make decisions THE WAY YOU do! People judge by OUTWARD APPEARANCE, but the LORD looks at a person's thoughts and intentions (the HEART)." Jesus said, "By their "FRUITS" (NOT by great gift or anointing, but Christ-likeness) we shall KNOW them. Matt. 7:16 So, what are FRUITS? Not just about the fruits of the Spirit, but their LIFESTYLES in general: Values and Attitudes COMPARE TO Christ (or people like Paul, Peter, John, etc). So, before I consider a Man/Woman (whether great or small) a TRUE Man of God (Christlike), FIRST, I want to know his ATTITUDE to MONEY and Material Wealth COMPARE TO Christ (because Jesus said we can't SERVE God and Mammon). Matt. 6:24 Secondly, what's his attitude to POPULARITY: the honour, glory, APPROVAL of Men (because Jesus said, "WOE to you if Men SPEAK WELL of you, like they did to the FALSE Prophets of old) Luke 6:26 Lastly, if possible, it's important to know the lifestyles or attitudes of his Children and CLOSEST coworkers (because it says "An Elder must rule his family well, or how can he rule a whole church if he doesn't). Titus 1:6; Titus 3:4-5. They can EASILY FOOL their members and fans worldwide, but NOT their children who are living or have lived CLOSELY with them for MANY years. Unfortunately, that might be one of the MAJOR reasons why MANY Pastors' or Prophets' sons and daughters are rather spoilt spiritually. Really not completely their faults, though. Because they might say, "Okay Daddy, we know you have GREAT Sermons and Spiritual Gifts, but you LOVE MONEY and Material things; you're Proud and LOVE the Honour of Men, you don't want to OFFEND people, so you speak softly, tell RELIGIOUS LIES for PROFIT. And you always ADD to, or twist God's Word so that people won't go away. Daddy, you're a great Bible teacher but you are always ANGRY with Mummy, losing your temper at home, bitter, hating other people and your enemies. So Daddy, that's why we are wayward: proud, love Money, disobedient to parents, bitter, and terribly WORLDLY in the Heart." To expose DARKNESS, we must be sure to be in the LIGHT ourselves; living in obedience to Jesus as in the New testament. So as to ESCAPE living in a Common World of Delusion of Men in this End-time. Titus.1.6 - An ELDER must be well thought of for his "GOOD LIFE" (not just FOR great spiritual gifts). He must be FAITHFUL to his wife, and his children MUST BE believers who are NOT wild or rebellious. Matt.24.4 NLT Jesus told them, "Don't let ANYONE mislead (or deceive) you. To be spiritual, holy or righteous simply means to repent and OBEY Jesus' Words, and not lean on our OWN understanding nor that of ANY Great Religious Man/Woman/Leader and others. After that we can GIVE what is proper and ACCEPTABLE to God. Jesus simply said: Matt.22.21 - ... "give to Caesar what BELONGS to him. But EVERYTHING that belongs to God must be given to God." In others words, make sure you PAY ALL your dues or bills and other requirements to the government first, before bringing any offering or giving to God in general. Moreover, if you're an employee or a servant, you've got to be responsible, and do your work faithfully as unto the Lord not to Men. (Eph 6:57) Nonetheless, it also says OWE NO MAN ANYTHING: Rom.13.8 - Pay ALL YOUR DEBTS, except the DEBT OF LOVE for others. You can NEVER finish paying that! If you love your neighbor, you will FULFILL ALL the requirements of God's law. Hence, we're NOT qualified to even give anything to God if we are still OWING any type of DEBT: even for a CENT worth of debt. And the ONLY debt which is ALWAYS allowed is LOVING others as ourselves. If we are TRULY of God, then He already OWNS ALL things WE OWN, and we wouldn't try to ACT WISER and DISOBEY Him by GIVING to some Religious Men or Church founders first, before settling things required with the Government or Creditors. Most times, it's simply because of the Lies or "seducing words" of these Money-minded Pastors/Prophets of Common Churches that lure people into ignoring their DEBTS or Responsibilities and thereby DISOBEYING God. But imposing the payment of old-covenant TITHING, FIRST-FRUITS, monetary seeds and other Church-themed FEES while they are perhaps terribly indebted! I've found that God just hands us over to our lusts, what we REALLY want; to be pleasing to Him or Ourselves and Men: Do you want earthly prosperity MORE than heavenly things? Sure, God will ALLOW the devil to FOOL you by his Great Pastors/Prophets/Church founders and others "black and blue". Alas, I reckon that to many, God has already been SECRETLY WARNING them about the Errors or Lies of their Churches; gradually backsliding Pastors/Prophets/Church founders, who don't care about DISOBEDIENCE to the Words of Jesus. But like Balaam, the backslidden Prophet, they would do ANYTHING to deceive for Money and everything concerning EARTHLY "prosperity" and honour of Men (POPULARITY with the World). If the opinions of men: Pastors, Elders, Parents and others are MORE IMPORTANT to us than Jesus', then we can't be His disciples nor be part of his kingdom either. And NEITHER be able to overcome things of these Last days and the coming TRIBULATION. Like saying, "If I take this stand, what will my Daddy, Mummy, Pastors and Friends SAY? Rubbish! I respect ALL, BUT I couldn't "Care Less" what they say or think about my taking a stand for the Truth: Jesus. I love all Men, but I wouldn't IDOLIZE or WORSHIP anyone and their opinions. Nor would I appreciate anyone who desires to WORSHIP me instead of Jesus. We've got to set things right by Repenting of Sins, FORGIVING OTHERS, paying ALL DEBTS (not just some), and the likes to please and GIVE ACCEPTABLY to God, not just wasting resources to FAKE Religious MEN and others. God wants every part of our lives: Spirit, Soul and Body to be Holy and acceptable to Him, not just some parts, money, and religious sacrifices or church activities here and there. Truly, we ought to respect EVERYONE as believers, especially Elders (whether religious or not). But NOT to respect nor encourage Deception, especially Religious LIES of great Church leaders/founders leading "millions" astray. As a FORMER VICTIM of their deceptions (still seeking grace for MORE light, though), I've been seeking to help others who have Ears to Hear, "willing" to AWAKE to see the DANGER of the False Lives, Hope and Reality of these "great religious men" we Fear, LOVE AND WORSHIP so much, sadly more than Jesus himself, perhaps. I reckon that Jesus himself was much younger than many FALSE Religious Men of his time, but kept WARNING people, especially his disciples against them: the LEAVEN of the Pharisees (Worldly/False Holiness and Hypocrisy); LEAVEN of the Sadducees (Man-made/False Doctrines); and the LEAVEN of Herod (Complete Worldliness). Matthew 16:6 KJV Then Jesus said unto them, TAKE HEED and BEWARE of the "leaven" of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. Mark 8:15 KJV And he CHARGED them, saying, TAKE HEED, BEWARE OF the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the LEAVEN OF HEROD (Jesus wasn't Politically-correct minded: See Luke 13:31-32; Matt. 10:18. And NEITHER did Paul hold hands with them: 2 Cor 11:32 ). Okay, that said, now to the topic: Unfortunately, many (if not MOST) of these Great Church leaders/founders of ours are literally WORLDLIER than some of the REAL godless unbelievers on Earth. But because many of us really don't know what REAL worldliness is, we get very deceived by external appearance and great gifts. And I think REAL worldliness of people of the world is safer than Religious worldliness, because real WORLDLY PEOPLE don't usually pretend or try to act holy. Some of them don't necessarily hide their Sins, unlike great Religious Men who use Religious and biblical things to PAINT theirs, and thereby leading Millions astray. To overcome worldliness, it's NOT JUST by LOOKING HOLY and saying religious words like we've been taught for very long: no jewellery, no makeups, no tight-fitting clothes, no trousers for women, wearing of crosses and white dresses, having great knowledge of the Bible, ETC. But to walk as Jesus walked the way of the Cross, "first" with a PURE HEART: 1 John 2:6 KJV He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to WALK, even as he WALKED. Yes, I agree, a true disciple of Jesus must be modest and seek to Glorify God not the flesh in everything including the appearance. But these EXTERNAL things or immoralities are just elementary or "kindergarten" level of worldliness, NOT the Phd (advanced level): the more DANGEROUS level. It was easier for Jesus to save those in the lower level of worldliness, but it was extremely DIFFICULT for those in the "higher" level (like the Pharisees and Sadducees). Jesus said to those in Higher level to CLEAN FIRST the "inside" of the Cup, so that the OUTSIDE will be CLEAN AS WELL. The problem is when these great preachers only succeed in helping people to LOOK CLEAN on the OUTSIDE like themselves (having religious looks), but inside they're FULL OF DEAD MEN'S BONES (using Jesus' expression): the Love of Money, Honour of Men (Popularity), Anger, Pride, Selfishness, Covetousness, Adultery of the Eyes/heart, Lying to get Money or honour from people, hypocrisy or just acting holy, Seeking False Peace World Rulers and other lusts in the heart. All these listed above and the likes are the "higher level" (Phd) of WORLDLINESS, not just about LOOKING HOLY, simply dressed or being strictly old-fashioned. 1 John 2:15-16 KJV LOVE NOT THE WORLD, neither the things that are in the world. IF ANY man love the world, the love of the Father IS NOT in him. [16] FOR ALL that is in the world, the lust of the FLESH, and the lust of the EYES, and THE PRIDE of life, is NOT of the Father, BUT is of the world. I think it's now clear how Religious Men living for Money and the honour men; and many of us who are their followers can be thoroughly WORLDLIER than many non-religious or unbelievers that dress or look very bad externally. Total surrender in OBEDIENCE to Jesus according to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John; and following THE WAY of the CROSS as a disciple of Jesus is the solution to OVERCOME WORLDLINESS and Sins in general. Not just the APPEARANCE of Holiness/Church with great Bible knowledge, Religious Gifts and Activities will save us. We've got to humble ourselves, Repent and seek Jesus for Reality, not just having a form of Godliness of "Great" Preachers: 2 Timothy 3:5,13 KJV Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such TURN AWAY. FINALLY: 2 Timothy 3:13 [13] But EVIL MEN AND SEDUCERS (these PhD Worldly Preachers) shall wax "worse and worse", DECEIVING, and BEING DECEIVED. To ESCAPE these Wickedness of Men and COMMON Hypocrisies, let's seek God's grace to CLEAN FIRST the "inside" of the Cup, so that the "outside" would be CLEAN ALSO. First, my posts are strictly for us who ARE (or who wants be) SERIOUS about OBEDIENCE to the words of Jesus: the Truth. Because He said: John.14.15 - "If you love me, OBEY my commandments. (and I think we all know that the opposite of that MUST be true as well) As I've said before, I don't seek to glorify "myself" NOR ANY Man/Church. So, if you're SERIOUS but doubtful, please obey this: 1 John 4:1 KJV Beloved, BELIEVE NOT every spirit, BUT TRY the spirits WHETHER they are of God: because MANY "false prophets" ARE GONE OUT into the world. And the reason why I'm constantly against Fake or Backslidden Religious Men is because: Matt.10.24 - "A disciple is NOT ABOVE his teacher, NOR a servant above his master. Matt.10.25 - It is ENOUGH FOR a disciple that he BE LIKE HIS teacher, and a servant LIKE his master. ... Hence, we become LIKE whomever we follow (good or bad). ALSO: Matt.15.14 - Let them alone. They are BLIND LEADERS of the blind. And IF THE BLIND LEADS the blind, BOTH will fall into a ditch (HELL)." Right, now to the topic: Jesus warned about Men with CORRECT doctrines (like using the Right Bible teachings) but living FAKE or Unchristlike LIVES (bad fruits): Matt.23.3 - So practice and obey whatever they say to you, BUT DON'T follow "their example". For THEY DON'T practice what they teach. The thing is the new testament is MORE about the reality of the Nature of Christ, not just Correct Words or doctrines. And many of us are FOOLED by just "correct" words of Men. If only correct words could save, then the devil and demons should be saved, because they have CORRECT Bible knowledge too, far more than many of us, in fact. Remember the thief on the cross might not have had any Bible knowledge, but because of his repentant heart and humility, Jesus told him he would meet Him in Paradise. Hence, although Correct Bible knowledge is very important, I wouldn't be satisfied with just that in my personal life, NOR would I follow a Man/Church leader whose life contradicts the Life of the Cross of Christ, one way or the other, with or without Bible knowledge and other great gifts. Paul to Titus: Titus.2.7 - And you yourself MUST BE AN EXAMPLE to them by DOING GOOD DEEDS of every kind. Let "everything" you DO reflect the integrity and SERIOUSNESS of your teaching. Also, in that Matt. 23, Jesus wasn't just exposing these types of Religious Men but further down He said: Matt.23.13 ... Hypocrites! For you won't let "others" ENTER the Kingdom of Heaven, and YOU WON'T GO in yourselves. Matt.23.15 - Yes, how terrible it will be for you... ...For you CROSS land and sea to make one CONVERT, and then you turn him into TWICE the SON OF HELL as you yourselves ARE. That's why it's dangerous to keep following such type, because they have Correct Words/Doctrines and others, but they deny Jesus by their LOVE of the World: the Love of Money and Honour of Men (Popularity). Going the way of Balaam, Judas and Demas, they are ENEMIES of the Cross of Christ. So, they don't make Jesus disciples (who obey His Words), but like-minded "Club Members" whom they use to make Money, live like Celebrities and CEOs by using their poor member's Money to live luxuriously, build profit-driven resources for themselves and the Rich. (Phil. 3:18-19) These are the type now seeking Un-christlike Peace and Unity among other False Religious leaders (Antichrists), and World Rulers. These are indeed the End times! Alas, MANY sincere people or believers don't see through all these, but are just seated with their mouths WIDE opened, gulping down ALL the Religious junks they dish out. This again is a MAJOR sign of the last days (see Matt. 24:24) Let's be HONEST, do we really FEAR Religious Men/People OR God? Matt.10.28 - "Don't be afraid of those who want to KILL YOU. They can ONLY kill your body; they CANNOT touch your soul. FEAR ONLY God, who can DESTROY BOTH soul and body in HELL. A true Servant or Disciple of Christ must be able to say like Paul: 1Cor.11.1 - And you should FOLLOW MY EXAMPLE, just as I FOLLOW Christ's. Phil.3.17 - Dear brothers and sisters, pattern your lives AFTER MINE, "and LEARN from those who follow OUR EXAMPLE". The kingdom of God is not just speaking Correct Words but in Obedience: 1Cor.4.20 - For the kingdom of God is NOT in WORD but in POWER (to be Holy or Christlike). Are we really following Men after the life of Christ, or the likes of Balaam, Judas, and Demas (who mind Earthly honours and things)? (See Phil. 3:18) It says we can't be ABOVE them but end up being like them as their followers (whether good or bad). (Matt 10:25) We've got to Repent of Self or Men-centered Religion of worshipping Religious MEN, which is based on just Religious Words, Activities, Worldly Prosperity/Popularity, fake promises, flimsy testimonies, Stories without the REALITY of the Cross of Christ in one's lifestyle: the POWER of the gospel. FINALLY: 2Tim.3.1 - But MARK this: There will be TERRIBLE TIMES in the last days. 2Tim.3.2 - People will be LOVERS of themselves, LOVERS of money, boastful, proud... 2Tim.3.5 - having A FORM of godliness but DENYING ITS POWER. And from "such people" TURN AWAY! It's time to awake from our DEEP SLEEP! Let THOSE that have EARS to hear, let them HEAR. May Jesus bless you. |
