If you want people to take you seriously, really seriously; just ensure you're especially skillful at telling LIES. Because you can't possibly "prosper" in the eyes of men by strictly telling people the TRUTH. Noah did not prosper according to men's wisdom, neither was Jesus (see how many fled from Jesus himself in John 6:66, except his 12 disciples), and Paul (2 Tim. 4:10). These sought heavenly treasures above all else. Imagine a great man of God with just SEVEN (7) members in his church (ark), do we call that prosperity? Who would believe that a great flood would destroy the whole of mankind, except those that would choose to enter the ark? Remember: Matt.7.14 - But the gateway to life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a FEW ever find it. Likewise, it can be even more difficult for us today to believe in what is called the Rapture: the second coming of Jesus (to come after the GREAT tribulation of the Antichrist); and the great Judgement coming upon the world. (2 Thes. 2:3-12) Honestly, just like the time of Noah, how many do truly believe that God is going to judge the world, and destroy this present world with FIRE? 2Pet.3.7 - And God has also commanded that the heavens and the earth will be CONSUMED BY FIRE on the day of judgment, when ungodly people will perish. 2Pet.3.10 - But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a THIEF. Then the heavens will PASS AWAY with a terrible noise, and everything in them will "DISAPPEAR IN FIRE", and the earth and everything on it will be exposed to JUDGMENT. About this time last year, who would believe that some sort of PANDEMIC would come and SHAKE THE WHOLE world, especially if it was mentioned by a man of God after the order of "bro Noah" (NOT of Pastor Judas or Prophet Balaam, though)? It would be wise for us to learn from the painful mistakes of the people of Noah's time and of many others of OLD times, and be SAVED from the coming WRATH of God (Matt. 3:7/Luke 3:7). Gen.6.13 - And God said unto Noah, The END of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is "filled" with VIOLENCE through them; and, behold, I will DESTROY them with the earth. Luke.17.26 - And as it was in the days of Noah, SO IT WILL BE ALSO IN THE DAYS of the Son of Man (the Rapture): Luke.17.27 - They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, UNTIL the day that Noah ENTERED the ark, and the flood came and DESTROYED THEM ALL. Entering the Ark today is more about being truly repentant and obedient to Jesus; NOT necessarily about having some sort of loyalty to, or acceptance of a Church or some great Pastors/Prophets. Matt.24.37 - "When the Son of Man RETURNS, it will be like it was in Noah's day. Matt.24.25 - See, I have WARNED you beforehand. The grace of Jesus be with you. |

@Divine89 Sister, the reality is we've got to reap what we've sown: whether good or bad. However, thanks to God for grace to get changed and become part of his kingdom. Please, be sure to desire to seek and love Jesus ABOVE ALL else; including those children and family members. God is able to get them all back to you, IF he wants to. He was the one that allowed them to be taken (not stolen) in the first place, because it was safer for them. And the same God is able to overrule all laws or authorities for you; IF he wants to. You just get glued with seeking God's will; study and obey the words of Jesus in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Seek grace to obey those commandments of Jesus and others through the new testament. Seeking his kingdom FIRST, and OTHER things will be added unto you. If after you've really started following Jesus, and others will keep judging you or won't "forgive" you, then just ignore them; you can only love them in your heart and keep praying for them. Their judging you, and having an unforgiving spirit shows they are still unconverted; hence, in God's eyes you are still better off. Unless they repent: cos Jesus said a person cannot be forgiven if he/she doesn't forgive others. About church, please continue to stay away from churches, pastors and general christians who are not truly following Jesus. Many churches today are full of "unconverted" pastors and members. That's why they Gossip, backbite, commit terrible sins and still feel nice in their hearts; with lots of their religious activities and Bible knowledge. Finally, please stick to the new testament, especially the gospels (Matt. Chapters 5, 6 and 7 is a great start). And beware of "Great Preachers". Go for those with SOUND Doctrines, even if they don't look very great outwardly. You may try Zac Poonen and (late) Jan Boshoff: their articles or YouTube videos. Just Google or search on YouTube, if you wish to. May Jesus Bless you richly. |

Too many church-going believers are religious simply because of the honour of men or their pastors, for earthly blessings; and of course, JUST IN CASE the fact about heaven and HELL is really true. So that they can eventually go to heaven when they die. This is a strong deception because God is not fooled: he KNOWS the motive of every heart. We can't possibly bribe God by being religious according to the order of a particular church, denomination or religion; EXCEPT if such leads to a life of being rooted and grounded in "repentance" and "obedience" to Jesus as in the New testament: this is true love of God (John 14:15). Otherwise, it would just be a mere form of godliness, rooted in the tradition of men on the broad way that leads straight to Hell. When we are more interested in the opinions, acceptance and praises of men or pastors more than God's, we are bound to go astray! That's IDOLATRY: the worship of human beings, just as others bow to worship idols or graven images. We've got to be rooted in the LOVE and FEAR of God, not necessarily in men. Not many religious men, including great pastors or church founders are of Jesus, but of Money and the World. John.12.43 - for they LOVED the praise of men MORE than the praise of God. John.14.15 - "If you LOVE me, OBEY my commandments. God bless you, in Jesus name. |

We usually don't like to consider God's word or will when dealing with small and great things of the world. That's why we tend to go horribly wrong when we make judgements and choices of life in general. It says all that is highly exalted or esteemed by people in the world is an ABOMINATION (rubbish) in God's eyes. Hence, what people consider glorious or GREAT is actually rubbish spiritually. If it won't endure into ETERNITY, it's fit only for the dunghill: let's throw it there, because it's got a tricky time limit! The word GLORY is the favourite of many false Pastors/Prophets today. They control people's minds by telling them their glories are hidden or buried somewhere. And what they usually mean by glory is always about MONEY, PROSPERITY and other great things of this world, not necessarily about God's glory and his kingdom. These are things which even the devil can give those whose souls belong to him. This false glory about possessing and loving these things is what the scripture refers to as GRASS. All the Money, Achievements, Popularity, Possessions are all "Grassy-Glories'" because they shall all FADE AWAY as grass. 1Pet.1.24 - ... "People are like GRASS that DIES AWAY; their BEAUTY FADES as quickly as the beauty of wildflowers. The GRASS withers, and the flowers FALL AWAY. However, God's glory is the true glory, which is about righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy spirit; seeking God's kingdom first, and having other things added to enjoy. When our minds are set on God's glory and his kingdom, we are no longer ATTACHED to the GLORIES and things of the world: Money, Honour of men, material things, etc. Now, God may bless us with some or many of that, but we are NOT "attached" to them (may HAVE, but NOT "possessing" anything). Because we know they are as grass that will fade away sooner or later. Matt.6.19 - "Don't store up treasures HERE on earth, where they can be eaten by moths and get rusty, and where thieves break in and steal. Matt.6.20 - Store your treasures in HEAVEN, where they will never become moth-eaten or rusty and where they will be safe from thieves. Let's not forget, just as God used WATER to destroy the old world (the days of Noah), He's certainly going to use FIRE to destroy this too, with all the grassy-glories and human greatness: 2Pet.3.10 - But the day of the Lord will come as "unexpectedly" as a THIEF. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and everything in them will DISAPPEAR IN FIRE, and the earth and everything on it will be EXPOSED to judgment. AND: 2Pet.3.11 - Since EVERYTHING around us is going to MELT AWAY, what HOLY, GODLY LIVES you should be living! Finally: 1John.2.17 - And this world is FADING AWAY, along with "everything" it craves. But IF YOU DO the will of God, you WILL LIVE FOREVER. 1John.2.18 - Dear children, the LAST HOUR is here. You have heard that the Antichrist is coming, and ALREADY MANY such antichrists (false pastors and prophets) have APPEARED. From this we know that THE END of the world HAS COME. May Jesus give you light and grace. |

Jfix:Friend, it's really sad to be like that if you're ready for marriage. But if not, you might as well forget it. It's a blessing in disguise; cos even many are fooled in disguise thinking bondage is great. Being too free with women will only make you feel great or powerful superficially. The thing is, it doesn't satisfy no matter how you try, and makes one a progressive slave of it. And far too many of us have been fooled by it for years. Self control is 'strength'; not the lack of it. Please, ignore this if it doesn't sound too nice to you. Peace. |

Many are willing to be called Christians, Pastors, Prophets, Good, Humble, Holy or Religious, linked to Great Pastors or Churches' names, etc. But not many are willing to be disciples of Jesus. Although, forgiveness of sins is FREE for all who are truly repentant, but to be a TRUE follower of Jesus is NOT. No thanks to False Pastors and Church leaders that have made it seemed FREE, leading millions to Hell. However, there is a price to pay: Luke.14.33 - So likewise, WHOEVER of you does not FORSAKE ALL that he has CANNOT be My disciple. To forsake all means to surrender all to God; we may HAVE and USE things, but we don't POSSESS anything. Which means all things we have, use and do are all for God's Glory. Not that we don't have the Price, but most are NOT WILLING TO PAY IT. We are often fooled by the self-made alternative teachings and lifestyles of false Pastors and Churches because of this; we are not willing to pay the price; we don't want to walk through the NARROW WAY that leads to eternal life. But would rather prefer the BROAD WAY of BIG Pastors and Church founders leading people to false hope and eternal damnation. Rev.3.18 - I counsel you to "BUY" from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your unclothedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may SEE. We've got to "repent" and count the cost first, and stop fooling ourselves with common self-deceptive form of church Religion of men. To be willing to pay the price of total obedience to Jesus as revealed in the New testament. (See Luke 14:25-33) Matt.13.44 - "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure HIDDEN in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and SELLS ALL that he has and "BUYS" that field. Finally: Matt.10.37 - He who loves father or mother MORE than Me IS NOT worthy of Me. And he who LOVES son or daughter more than Me IS NOT worthy of Me. Matt.10.38 - And he who DOES NOT take his cross and follow after Me IS NOT worthy of Me. Matt.10.39 - He who finds his life will LOSE IT, and he who LOSES his life for My sake will find it. Humble yourself, Repent and get rid of your glasses of Selfishness and Pride that makes you see contradictions in the Bible. Think about this: John 6:63 KJV It is the SPIRIT that quickeneth; the FLESH profiteth NOTHING: the WORDS that I speak unto you, they are SPIRIT, and they are LIFE. May Jesus give you light.

Brokenfm Friend, if you want to be free from depression for the rest of your life, just have faith in God and surrender totally to him, and depression will have no more space in you. The flesh is no good, it will always give you reasons to be depressed and discouraged. To overcome means to say like Jesus: Not my Will Father, but your will be done. Please don't try to hurt yourself or take your life, you will only have yourself to blame; I MEAN, you will have to blame yourself for all eternity. What is it that is actually getting you depressed? Do you think getting all that will ultimately satisfy you? Go and check the hearts of billionaires and great men of the world, they might always appear happy outwardly, but it's certain they can't possibly buy more time when they have to return to the dust, and neither can they bribe God to avoid the second death. Finally: Please, humble yourself, stop comparing yourself with other people, be content with what you have for now, put God first, not your lusts or interests, respond to your spiritual needs first, not passing, temporary things of earth: seek heavenly treasures first, Repent of Sins and Obey Jesus, and nothing will ever get you depressed. If you do all that, you'll surely bear good fruit with patience. Choose Life. May Jesus bless you. |

Samostical:Friend, it's true you've found what you needed to know about common churches today. The Lord Jesus, Paul, Peter, John and others have warned that decline, men going after seducing spirits of Money and Popularity/Acceptance with the world will be certain these last days. In fact, I must confess, even in the BEST CHURCHES, that decline is there with their Founders or Head Pastors. I'm not trying to form a Pastor/Prophet, but are you sure you've been really called by God? It's one thing to be called by men and self; it's strictly another thing to be called by God. To be called by self and men, you just got to convince them that you know some scriptures, have abilities to preach and do church activities and leadership things. Self also might quickly push one especially if such is still unemployed. In other words, we must not imagine God's calling because of some Religious gifts we've got, or cos of some opinions of Religious men; alas, many of those men were never called in the first place themselves, but just acting Christianity in order to get busy and make money. If truly you've been called, then God must have been preparing you through much testings, sufferings, situations and revelations. And you wouldn't tolerate any Sin in your Private life by judging yourself constantly. Because if a person is not willing to give up everything, he can't be Jesus' disciple. Luke 14:33. Also, much Crowd is NOT necessarily the Mark of Church growth, please see John 6:66. In fact, it could be a curse sometimes, cos Jesus said Woe to you when men speak well of you... Try to see the event around John 6:66, and confirm what did happen to Jesus himself. Please try to think about these things; like Paul said: "I think I have the Spirit of God." God bless. 1 Like |

Matt.22.43 - Jesus responded, "Then why does David, speaking under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, call him (Jesus himself, according to the context) Lord? For David said, Matt.22.44 - 'The LORD (the Father) said to my Lord (the Son Jesus), Sit in honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies (of the Cross) beneath your feet.' Now to your question, each time Jesus said FOLLOW ME, it meant surrender ALL to me; in other words, accept me as your Lord and Master. Talking to his disciples, Jesus said: John.13.14 - If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. Finally: Matt.16.24 - Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If ANYONE desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and FOLLOW ME.
