Defuse her "harshness" by poking fun at her. Assume she's interested in you.

Ask her why does she reply your texts like a shy secondary girl who's just fallen in love for the first time.

For not picking your calls, you can poke her in similar manner.. Call her twice, if she doesn't pick, send her a text... "I guess you've heard too"..

When she replys with "What"... Tell her your voice is so charming that girls fall hopelessly in love with you when they hear you talk. Tell her you think that's why she doesn't pick your calls... cuz she doesn't want to fall for you more than she already has.

If you pull this (for calls).. make sure when you guys talk on phone the conversation is funny and interesting... and end the call while she's enjoying it by telling her duty calls, you've got something to attend to.
