GabsonFX2:wise words sire, wise words indeed, you have given me a roadmap and an inspiration. I thank thee so much... |
Davigle:USOIL is down 200 pips, yipeee. at least it wasn't stoploss all day. I sure do need some good news. I just hope this babe doesn't dump me for some dude 😍 |
Davigle:Funny enough price went on to hit my target of 44k but for some strange reason I wasn't feeling comfortable holding on to the trade, well I'm on the sidelines and would be watching patiently with the eyes of a crocodile. |
Davigle:US30 oooooooooo, morafeckarrr 😠😡😠😡🤬 |
LincolnOnyeabor:Gold definitely has a higher pipvalue |
peteregwu:chairman ohun ti o nse ko da ooo, ahn ahn let the poor breath, pls don't suffocate us now, only you wan pack all d moni, abeg remain small for us ooo |
last trade call for the day US30 sell SL 50 POINTS |
Danator:Sire, are you by chance pipnator? |
greatcheer:Boss I think you should have had more faith in your strategy or analysis, because gold is selling as you had anticipated, the only thing that I would advise based on my little experience is never to trade gold with a tight stoploss, the result is traumatizingly traumatic |
LincolnOnyeabor:yes I trade BTC on forex and I only swing it, I don't day trade it. honestly I calculate my lotsize based on a risk percent of my account. To do that you need to know how to count pips or points on BTC How I do it simply is that every $1 move on BTC, remember it's paired against the dollar (BTCUSD) I count it as 1 point move so from 43900 to 43901, that's 1 point move, 43900 to 44000, that's a 100 point move. Now based on my personal research that Bitcoin has a point value of $1, while the pip value is $0.01 because 43900.00 to 43900.01 is 1 pip move I risk 0.3% of my account per trade, so for an account of 10000 that would be $30, so for a trade having a stoploss of maybe 200 points, my lot size would be risk amount ÷ (point value × stoploss) I.e $30 ÷ ($1 × 200) = 0.15 lot that's how I do it. sorry for the long post. I do it this way so that I risk the same risk amount across all account whether it be 5k, 10k or 100k, I don't like using fixed lot size because my stoploss varies across different paira and I want to make sure I am risking the same amount across all markets that I trade |
Shout to boss fxwarrior, when you said that the bulls had this week on the dollar, I doubted you, but looking at yesterday FOMC meeting and today's jobs report, this gave the dollar bulls a landslide victory this week and I can say certainly that NFP will be coming out higher tomorrow which should add to the dollar rally. I am shorting gold now before I miss out on the party |
Davigle:SL hit 😢 again, that makes the second SL taken from today apart from EJ and GJ. |
samfelly:My bad sire, ha didn't hundastand the screenshot, but great to hear ya accounts are doing well, it ain't easy to get out of drawdown because it's really psychologically draining which tends to feed on one's impatience thereby resulting to catastrophic event of tsunaminous proportion |
Davigle:BTC trades closed, I honestly am not comfortable with the trade |
Davigle:I am adjusting my tp on BTC to 44k, I am no longer comfortable with the trade because I feel BTC is about to be range bound due to yesterday's massive move, once price hits tp am back to the sideline... |
USOIL SELL AT 73.50 STOPLOSS AT 74.50 This is a swing trade |
#fromwallstreetwithlove US30 SELL AT CURRENT PRICE SL 50 POINTS TP 100 POINTS RR 1:2 |
samfelly:I would suggest you take the rest of the week off trading and the charts to cool off champ. then start afresh next week. ain't nothing wrong with you bro, just take your painful lessons and keep on working. |
samfelly:Oga Sam, wetin you don do, oya come dey explain ya sef, no come dey give us parable, you blow account... |
Davigle:EJ and GJ turn out to be a loss, it seems the yen is still weak and the dollar strength is not fading yet, UJ is still bullish on dollar strength. BTC is still in play, I'm up about 800 points cos price is currently at 42900 ish, my target are 47k and then subsequently 48k |
FOMC disappointed me sha, not the volatility I was expecting, nevertheless NFP is the main event for the week. all hell will be let loose on the market. DXY may sink as the consensus is lower than the previous report for the Dec NFP releases, if the actual comes out lower or the same as the concensus, then dxy bears will party hard but if comes out higher, I'd say victory to the bulls. all in all this Fri promises to be interesting |
Ok guys i think it's now time to short EJ and GJ EJ sell at 156.4xx sl at 30 pips GJ sell at 181.4xx sl at 30 pips note this is a swing trade and may the markets favor us. BTC buy at current price stoploss at 500 point |
DrAkpa:I hope you mean as in spot and not futures, if spot you are safe as you may wanna hodl |
One of the pairs that I'm bearish on is EJ, but I would advise against shorting it at the moment because both the euro and the yen are weak as can be seen in EU and UJ, therefore when two weak currencies are paired together, you also have a range bound market and that's why GJ is tearing to the upside while EJ is just moving like a sheep... |
Kaybee7000:Shuussh, abeg low your voice now na, see how you dey expose me 🤣🤣🤣, you sef don CIA agent ni? 😂😅 |
Davigle:Just in now from my Twitter notifications confirming the strength of GBP Cc: greatcheer
|
Went on twitter and I found this, some say maybe the markets is undergoing FUD at the moment on the speculation that the SEC may not approve the Bitcoin ETF which has been the event supporting Bitcoin bullish adventures while some say because Jim Cramer stated that he was bullish on Bitcoin and it cannot be stopped, 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 Twitter wan kill me with laugh.

greatcheer:Not really bossmi, the pip value is the same and GU is much more volatile/violent than EU. GU is ranging at the moment because it is really strong, check eurgbp and gbpjpy, even if you don't use correlation but you will see GBP is quite strong against both currencies especially eurgbp, and if you check the dollar index, you will see that the dollar is also quite strong at the moment, therefore when you have two strong currencies paired together, it will result into a range bound market, and also there was no economic release from the UK but from the EU, there was jobs report that came out from Germany which was poor, adding to the weakness on EU. hence of the three currencies USD, GBP and EUR, the EUR is the weakest and that's why you see EU falling much lower than GU. |
Something ain't definitely right in the crypto space, I don't even see any news on it |
FECKING HELLLL, WHO THE FECK IS MANIPULATING BITCOIN AT THE MOMENT, CRASHING ALL THE WAY DOWN TO 41K FROM 45K, DAMN CRYTO WALES WUNA TRY OOO. THANK GOD I TP MY TRADE YESTERDAY ELSE I WOULDA BEEN SUPER LIVID. HONESTLY THIS GAME IS SUPER RIGGED, DO WELL TO PROTECT YOURSELVES FAM... |
kozmicity:Bosssmiiiiii married for where 🤣, I'm still happily single and not searching, forest trading na my only babe ooo as for my call on US30 is Long, I believe it will hit 38k, although I maybe wrong but I am still bullish stock indices |

, you are still missing it. That is a chat between my friend (a bro) and me. Right hand side of the chat are me and left hand side are his. You can see where I asked him the bolded question, which afterwards I brought here for discussion
