Omo, this NEPA issue for my side dey choke me, I'm just checking the chart to see gold blew beyond my target of 2027, nas100 breached 17k which I called, and I missed out of an early buy on US30, and also Bitcoin also went beyond my target and has retraced back to it.

I'm looking set to Short UJ, Bitcoin and long US30 at NY open cheers guys, pls do well to trade safe today so that you don't end up giving back all your profits to the market. at least make weekend stew for us

I won't ignore this like I did to one @ Davidmalix that dragged me the last time I posted a loss on GA, telling me I have a long way to go coz I took a countertrend trade and ended in a loss.

Every loss is disappointing and embarrassing and the reason why few people post the loss in public is to ease the disappointment, maybe psychologically, the act of verbalising the disappointment puts the problem into an easier perspective. So why would you blame anyone for losing a trade or an account when everyone does? ... Is that to ease the pain of the bereaved account or to add to it?

Now back to your 1st paragraph, the bolded is true and I'm sure everyone of us started from indiscipline to discipline back to indiscipline and discipline until we are strong enough with our emotions. It's a normal phase of a beginner trader,even experts loose discipline sometimes. It's all normal and humane. You made close to 7% first one or two weeks in the Situp challenge, how did u end up being disqualified? If I may ask, how many payout certificate have u received before condemning a fellow trader?

2nd paragraph. You are not saying that sh*t to ridicule , what is more ridiculous that you splitting out that kind of statement on a public forum. If its out of love you ll come to my Dm and offer a solution. Successful traders don't condemn the upcoming traders or when last did u see our Top 5 guys here use such word on any trader

3rd paragraph. How would you feel if u wake up to that kind of message that looks like a curse, should I say so shall it be for you so that you ll know how it feels?

4th paragraph. The bolded shows how unprofessional you are, what you are saying in essence is that once you see the reason they are selling, you will just go into sell full margin ..Ignoring your own valid Buy setup . You ll loose your account that day coz overconfidence will make u forget about good money management. The only thing that ll come to your mind is "This is an opportunity to flip my account"

5th paragraph Successful traders are independent thinkers.

looking at stock indices, us100 seems to be moving higher today, and on the daily chart, us500 took out the high of last month lask week, us100 is just a few points from taking the high of last month @17000 in suit after us500, if it does that, us30 should be next in taking out the previous month high

Oga mi, trade wetin you dey see according to your strategy, no fear, if e cast no shaking another opportunity go come. according to my own strategy ooo, I would refrain from selling gold now because dollar is looking to correct lower, and this will either make gold rise or consolidate, I would definitely refrain from selling gold today. and another thing also, I remember one boss, I'm not sure if it is DXYY, one time I was buying xxxusd pairs on a Thursday like this and he said that those pairs will sell because Thursday tends to be a reversal day, and true to his words it happened as he said and I had monumental losses, but ever since then it has stuck in my brain that whenever market moves strongly in one particular direction from the beginning of the week expect a reversal on Thursday. shout out to whoever the boss made be, you really open my eyes to something that I was oblivious of.

Hello bro, I must confess that I am not as good as you may think I am, because I still have a long way to go in mastering fundamental analysis, I recently started learning it in October last year through YouTube videos and also by studying twitter post from three traders who are all versed in fundamental analysis, they are yusuftrader1, kenfxfreak and capital hungry, funnily each of them belong to a different technical school, yusuf is an ICT concepts day trader, while kenfx is a swing trader who trades demand and supply, and capital hungry is a scalper who also trades demand and supply too, but all three of them are masters when it comes to fundamental analysis. I also read market related news on the weekend and I listen to certain podcast which host guys from the investment bank or hedge fund industry, where they discuss macroeconomic topics, dissecting issues from central banks policies to geopolitical events and the potential implications in the markets... And then lastly, during the weekends, I also take note of all the important economic news release that will be coming in the week ahead and then I go through the previous release and study it on my chart, how the data affected price, was price action bullish or bearish before the news release, was there any signal that price made before the news release or after the news release... I am willing to help you out in any way I can, but I must honestly let you know upfront that I haven't mastered fundamental analysis... if you clarification, hint or help in any way, just ask or post it here so that others to can benefit too

buy order cancelled, the news wasn't volatile as I had wanted,

now I'll be waiting for US core retail sales and headline retail sales release by 2.30 pm. I'm on the sidelines but I am slightly leaning towards the dollar bulls, my reason for that is that price action has shifted bullish on the HTF and fundamentally, the market had dial down their bets of an early rate cut in March due to the hawkish remarks that have been given by Fed members in the previous days (Fed bostic and Fed kashkari), this gave strength to dollar bulls so far, from my analysis of the cot report released for last week, the total net position was slightly bullish on the dollar, this shows that the institutional traders are betting on the dollar strength by adding to their long positions, looking at the consensus for core retail sales and headline retail sales is expected to come out unchanged for the core and higher than the previous for the headline, this is showing that investors are anticipating that consumer spending to be still strong despite the Fed's had hike and held rates higher for longer, yet consumer spending seems to be resilient. Although I feel that price should correct lower before any advance to the upside on the dollar, if retail sales comes out stronger as consensus are pointing out, we could definitely see the continuation of dollar bulls, all xxxusd pairs will fall and that includes gold. I am looking to short GU becos the orderflow on the HTF is bearish and even though GBP CPI came out stronger which made GBP surge higher, I see that as a pullback for a much better shorting opportunity on GU as it rallied into a bearish order block on the 4h chart. A stronger retail sales will give strength to the GU bears. But let's wait and see the outcome of the news... cheers
