Mine is usually on card trip. Bolt is really shitty!

I even tried checking current price, the thing no gree load. Yesterday I tried same, the current price was higher than the final price due to same GPS error ish...

Guys on Bolt, aw u dey cope with this gps error issue? Abi na only me the thing dey affect? I Don ask for trip review tire today o especially when I pass tru Lekki link bdrige toll gate.

Bolt. The part that only irritates me is when rider becomes impatient for me to see the alert. The trip no be cash or card? So you must wait till I confirm your transfer.

I simply wind down my windows and turn off the AC.
When they ask why, I tell them the aroma will linger on in the car if I Don t do that. Also, that the next rider won't like such. While allowing them to eat, I sound warning of not staying my car with their food. Chikena.

Guys how do you handle riders who always want to eat in the car, I'm finding it very difficult to handle most riders in this. Most of them feel it's normal to eat in the car and most say I'm the first uber driver to call their attention on that.

One among the 3guys I carried last night around 2am says "after all its my right, I'm paying so I can do anything I like..." I just ended trip then asked them to come down of my vehicle, "i wont pay you".
Me: no problem about that
"I'll rate you low"
Me: i dont give a Bleep about rating. please come down I've close for the day this is a destination trip thats y I on my bolt app.

Las las his other friend who was cool headed was now trying to calm the situation and was begging I drop them. They knew it will be diffixult for them to get a ride home they now calm down. Yet the most stubborn one among them still did eat quietly behind.

I need clue in how beat to handle such riders please.

I do this a lot. And it works guys.

Simply notify your riders that you don't collect TRANSFERS for CASH before you start the trip.

I can even understand the fake alerts as scamming, but how you let a rider leave your car with the "I-will-do-it-later" line is shocking.

If he/she didn't want to pay with cash,it's easy to change it on the app.

Very simple something
You: Sir/Ma, this trip is a cash trip. I don't accept transfers please

Rider: I don't have cash on me

You:It means you'll wait for me to see an alert on MY PHONE, or I could cancel while you wait for another

sorry bro that's one of the injustice act that happen in our country but come to think of it you really don't have issue with the unknown soldier it is woman(neighbors) you have problem with ,since the landlord and the baale hv ask her to apologize to you, the ball is in your court you can play it where ever you like but if still insist on retaliation there is something you can do to her but I can be saying DAT here OP.

I think I should share this here in case I can still get justice.
Because of traffic stress in lagos, despite having my own home, I decided to rent a place on Lekki axis.
In the middle of the night around some mins to 2 am few weeks ago, some soldiers, 8 of them, started knocking on my Apartment. When I sighted them to be soldiers and don't have anything to do with army, I inquired what they wanted. Instead they kept banging on my door. I had to call the landlord who instructed me not to open the door. I made call to 767 too, Lagos emergency number.
Long story short, they broke into my apartment and bundled me into their waiting van. They drove me round till they stopped by the road side close to Folixx restaurant around Ikate. They put me by the side of the gutter there while some of them used their body as cover so that passing vehicles won't see what's going on. Others began torturing me. They did all bad stuffs to me. I nearly passed out. They even got water from the gutter asking me to drink it. I refused but kept asking them what my offence was.

They won't tell me until after they drove me again to another area around Osapa London. They introduced me to another guy in mufti. He claimed that he was in my house 2 days before that time. That he is a boyfriend to my neighbour. Immediately , I remembered a neighbour asked me to repark my car 2 days before. According to the guy, he was the one and that the punishment and beating was for not coming out on time to repark.

He asked his boys to let me go at last after too much beating.
I actually didn't block this guy when I came back home that night but parked close to him. Even by the time I came out to repark, he already got his car out.

I met police at home through 767 call. They wanted to pick the girlfriend. But my landlord insisted that we should wait till day break. When I sensed nothing was forthcoming in the morning, I lodged a formal complaint at Ilasan police station. But there was no officer to follow me for the arrest. The one available was asking for too much. Eventually, the Baale of my area came to settle the matter, asking the girl to apologise and repair my damaged door. She refused to do any. My landlord had to fix the door.

All the people I have been talking to about this incident said since I dont know the names of these soldiers that it will be difficult to get justice. Anyone with a way to get justice? I have pictures of me when I came back that morning battered and injured.

I think only a JJC driver in this business, or driver with no sense of direction will still be taking rdier up and down or even waiting for them unnecessarily.
It is my own policy: no stop overs. And it's been working for me. If you like dey stop over here n there. Or let them turn you to their personal driver. Na ur cup of tea.

Guys be aware that if u take a rider to more than one destination bolt will recalculate the price and tell u gps error. What I do now is after one stop it’s offline straight. Only on bolt not on Uber.

This was exactly how it all happened on Friday night within 9/10pm at mande town in Maryland.

Me: hello n good evening, I made a request on taxify I'm presently on maxton.
Rider: ok drive down n take next turn right put on your pointer I'll meet u up along the road.

Rider entered the front seat, just him. A gentle looking young guy btw the age of 28-34

Me: sup bro, how are you this Friday n where we heading to?
Rider: men I was sleeping when I got a call to come out jor... Sheraton...
Me: shuuu! Sleep ke so early on a friday night like this?
Long story short...

Ended trip at the gate along the express road, rider was already stretching out N500 to me while I was trying to end trip but for some reason I didn't collect it, I wanted to see the fare amount first. amount was N800.

Rider: ha! N800!! What happened, I thought N500 as he gave me the money, I budgeted N500 and dont have any money on me right now. Ok let me transfer to you or better still send recharge card to your number.
Me: ok, no p, please send to same number I called you will.
You all know how busy that entrance gate is na so I didn't want to cause any traffic.

Since Friday till now o h I don call this guy na one torri or d other he dey gist me. 200card finished yesterday while on the phone with him.

Please Let's help me frustrate this guy its My money no matter how little it is let him pay.

I'm still thinking of how money will be deducted for trips that did not happen. Guys let's ask the drivers what scam they performed too. We should be willing to call them out.

Took this lady from vi to freedom way.
We went to eko hotel first and I waited for more than one hour. She begged me to wait cos her stuffs were inside my car. When she came I checked the price was N1,300. Got to her destination Price was N1,700 from eko hotel with toll gate fee to freedom way. Bolt wrote price was recalculated cos of poor route. She gave me 2k and ask me to keep the change. I do not expect the fare to be less than 2k. I think I will stop waiting for Bolt rider. Some will tell u wait for me after-all my money is reading.

Good observation. But trust me, she deserves everything people did to her. If the driver hadn't reported her here, she would have succeeded in scamming him . Who knows how many drivers she has done this to in the past . If another person tries this again, we go more ballistic on them . Making money through this job ain't easy menh
