Today's Daily Sun announced how Mr. Ibu' wife and three kids was abducted/kidnaped by a heavy armed men a day back along Agbani Enugu Expressway. The said kidnapers later droped Mr. Ibu's two kids a girl and a son. They ran away with the wife and of the sons. They kidnapers they said came with a BMW car. Now they are demanding N50million to release the wife and the son. Mr. Ibu said, where on earth do I have such money, pleading with the kidnapers to release them for him quickly without harm or randsom. More details is in Daily Sun. (6th Jan. 2011).

To qualify for work permit, one has to play between 60-65 of your national team matches within two years. You national team must be within 60 in FIFA ranking scale. The only way out is that one has to come in as a special talent. For example Mikel Obi. Yakubu, Yobo, Osaze, Kanu, Nsofor and Olofinjana obtained work permits because they are established at the National team. While Etuhu, Anichebe, Sodje, Aluko etc are British residents. Am sure this arrangement counts you out. But do not be discouraged, it is not so in other European countries.
Also, being a student in England will not qualify you to take part in any professional activity e.g football. The Igbo cultural support Network which am one of the leaders chiefly caters for Ndigbo who are in the U.K. Nwannem, let your hopes not be lost. I discussed a similar thing with one young and upcoming footballer from my village sometime ago. He was playing for Orji Uzor Kalu (OUK) FC of Umuahia then, but now he is in Turkey and doing well. Forget money, concentrate on your game, surely assistance will come from all angles to you.

im no player or manager but i can give advice. if you want to be seen you should utilize things like youtube and facebook. Get videos of you in action and post it on those sites. if you can get dvd's burned and get the addresses of the clubs in smaller markets like some european or asian leagues and send it to their development departments requesting a tryout or for them to send a scout out to see you. it will also help if you develop you reputation by trying out for the super eagles or some clubs in nigeria because you just can't say you are a ball player and you have never played for anyone even on a semi pro level. i wish you the best.

As you can see University of Wolverhampton is not ranked. I read on their wikipedia page that, they have stopped applying for rankings basically because they are ranked too low. Their last position was 102 out 114 Universities in UK

So all is all, it is not a very good University.

Regarding job prospects, I know some University of Oxford graduates looking for jobs after months of graduation, so know what to expect and don't let anyone sell you any sweet stories. If you want to come for masters then that should be your main motivation.

Lastly, Wolverhampton is also a really horrible city

Please Kadman, can you help me on any nice University in England that of BA (Hons) Football Studies. I have found Southampton Solent University and they are ranked 111 out of the 114 top UK Universities. I think this is poor, though they listed their links in high level as regard to the Department; Football Studies. Do you know any other better and cheap University that I can do Football Studies Undergraduate. How much money do I have to save before embarking on the study journey. I realy want do BA (Hons) Football Studies in University, preferably in England. What do you advice me on the school and the city, Southampton Solent? Again, what is the visa to England and ticket like as for one coming from Nigeria?
