Masquerades are called 'ara orun' people from heaven. But this one is Aba made ![]() |
Attached to this post is a message from MD/CEO of TSTV Mr Bright, clarifying the reason why they can't air EPL live on Satellite. Its simple and I already did the breakdown earlier which I'll rephrase again 1. DSTV is the sole right owner of EPL, La Liga, Serie A and UCL on any satellite platform as well as IPTV in South Africa and Sub Sahara countries (South, East and West Africa, except North Africa) 2. Star times own same right for Europa League, Bundesliga, French league, Chinese Super league, Belgian Pro league, Dutch Eredivise, Euro 2020, FIBA world cup, European Nations League and all European qualifiers and friendlies 3. TSTV own the right to DFB Pokal(German Cup) and 1 weekly live EPL match on Satellite None of these paytv operators are allowed to go beyond their limits, else it becomes an infringement. Those craving for top quality matches have the following options 1. Subscribe for all of Star times, DSTV and TSTV 2. Get a very big dish to pick Hispasat, Astra 19e, 9e (for Cosmote sports) Hotbird and Nilesat. Caveat, none other satellites operate on FTA. Those watching it are doing something, I can't mention here 3. IPTV. Note you need data and strong 4g network 4. Get combined FTA satellites like 5e, 9e, 16e, 28e, 45e, 42e 26e. Caveat FTA has limited rights. For instance during UCL matches DSTV can offer live all 8 games, like Star times can show 10 different matches of Europa league, FTA channels can't air more than 1 or two matches. For example CRTV sport may pick on Arsenal vs Liverpool, but DSTV or IPTV that has more than one sport channel can offer you additional 5 matches. Choice is yours

HIGHESTPOPORI:Its obvious you're not getting the point at all and this may lead to a straw man argument. The guy I responded claimed 'German league is poor' He needed to be told that that 'poor league' has produced stars for the Mannschaft and also produced stars that EPL, La Liga and Serie A teams run to. 90% percent of Germany team players play in Germany and have won 4 world cups and played in more Euro cup and world cup semifinals than any other team in Europe. English teams are owned by foreigners, likewise French clubs and they're dominated by foreigners. Check the line up of Barcelona, Real, PSG, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, Tottenham, Juventus, Monaco etc they're dominated by foreign players. But in Germany, its different, and they ha e this policy called 50+1 meaning, no bundesliga team none at all is owned by one Sheikh or Russian Billions or any American. That policy is to protect the home grown policy, which is adopted by many countries. Austin Egueavon has been appointed as Technical Directly of a Club in Slovenia. He said the policy there is that 90% of players must be from Slovenia and remaining can be sought from other countries. What we are talking about is policy in each country and how of affects players. 1. Jovitec was bought by Madrid from Entrant Frankfurt 2. Pulicic From Dortmund to Chelsea 3. Berbatov from Leverkusen to Man united 4. Sane from Schalke to Man city 5. Firmiho to Liverpool 6. Toni kroos Bayern to Madrid 7. Kevin De Brune to Man city 8. Keita to Liverpool 9. Matip to Liverpool. That league has gone to produce starts relied upon by many top teams in Europe |
Trustmeall:You can try STV during sport Cafe and I think Galaxy TV does similar thing |
prettyangel10:You head dey there. You sef have tey small. All these kids born from 1988 should respect elders |
Jabioro:Truth be told. Since 2015, we've rarely heard on festive day attacks. This is the first since Buhari took over |
God. I can't laugh my intestine out abeg "Honourable Speaker, one of us has polluted the air and I know who it is," Julius Gaya reportedly told Homa Bay county assembly. |
Wow. So she's born in 1969? She's come a long way though, from the movie 'Iru oka' |
Americanboy35:It's does popular areas like Texas, Baltimore, LA, NYC that have most notorious |
SAMTOBIJU:You can say that again. Oppo is a sponsor and gave BBNAIJA millions of Naira, yet a certain Mercy destroyed the phone and product of a sponsor, but nothing was done to reprimand her. It shows to disregard for the sponsor. If it were something else, it would still be understandable, but an expensive phone deliberately smashed? Haba |
uchman:That lady based in Japan can assist, but as I posited, you're entering as a Business Visitor Mind you, things in Japan are quite expensive, but are better than what they produce in China. Most of the products we use in Nigeria are from China and 70% are fake |
krasican:Thanks for lending a voice. Your analysis shows soundness. A friend once said that the German league doesn't have enormous fan base in Nigeria, but check out the few that watch and support German teams, they're not the MC Oluomo or those nuisances that bet and would kill themselves over Arsenal and Chelsea when their teams loses. The few German football lovers are intellectuals and I can deduce this from your post |
HIGHESTPOPORI:That's your opinion. The bundesliga produces home grown talents and these talents prosecuted the 4 World cups that Germany has won, including the 2014 Edition. Germany has made the World cup semi final more than any other team apart from Brazil Berbatov, Firmiho Ozil, Kevin De brune, Sane are all products of Bundesliga Have you asked yourself why has the bundesliga continued to break records in terms of fans attendance of stadium? Germany's Impressive Numbers |
peacefull:That would be nice if you can confirm |
mosescollon:I'm not sure you read my post comprehensively. If you did, you wouldn't have missed out the part I wrote With only ₦1,300 per month you'll watch every thing on Startimes.Similarly, most of all these services comes under Premium, meaning you can't get everything for free. DSTV has EPL, La Liga and Serie A. Startimes has French and bundesliga as well as Dutch Eredivise and Belgian Pro league via Fox Sport Africa. I'm not sure all these premium can be available on FTA. Hence, there's no way you wouldn't want to supplement FTA with a cheap premium alternative. With my DSTV and Startimes, there are 6 other FTA satellites I'm connected to. Every option ha e their pros and cons mosescollon:Moreso, don't say bundesliga is a poor league ever. That you love EPL or any other league apart from Bundesliga doesn't mean everyone care about other league. I don't watch EPL for anything. Ending of this August, I'll be traveling to Auckland, New Zealand for 3 days meeting and out of all the Airlines like South Africa Airways, Ethiopian Airline etc that offer cheap flights, I bought an Emirates Airline Ticket, which is almost *2. The reason I did that is because of Bundesliga. Inside Emirates, they provide Live TV for all passengers. Sport24 is available live throughout the flight and you know Sport24 shows the bundesliga live on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. By your word of 'poor league' Flying Emirates cost ₦1,500,000. After paying such an amount, do you think they would offer poor league to passengers that paid such a huge amount? The answer is NO. Please don't say Bundesliga is a poor league. It is the only league on Planet Earth that have the largest stadium attendance season in season out. EPL, La Liga, Serie A all come behind the bundesliga when it comes to passion by fans and Germany has won the world cup 4 times, compared to England's single win in 1966 |

StarTimes announced it has acquired UEFA National Team Football broadcasting rights between 2019 and 2022. The company has secured transmission rights for exploitation in all countries across sub-Saharan Africa, excluding South Africa, and on all media platforms. Football events include the Euro 2020 which will be played from 12 June to 12 July 2020, as well as qualifiers to Euro 2020, the Nations League 2020/21 and European qualifiers to the Fifa World Cup 2022.This is the best news for 2019. I pray that TSTV and Startimes can really take over Sub Sahara region. Startimes has Bundesliga TSTV has German(DFB Pokal) The other people from Xenophobic country got nothing. The only thing they have now is UCL, EPL, Serie A and La liga. They've lost Euro 2020 to Startimes, all national team friendlies, Uefa Nation's league and qualifies. With only ₦1,300 per month you'll watch every thing on Startimes. Nigerians must take it back from them |

SKhanmi:It's good to help. 2 years ago, I was on my way to Sydney Australia, when a colleague called me to assist on dropping something for his sister based in Wentworthville in New South Wales. I collected the clothes at the MMA1 and delivered to her in Sydney. Guess what, in return she cooked food that lasted me all through my stay in Australia till I returned to Nigeria. Talk about Rice, vegetables, Amala, Eba, Semo, etc. I didn't spend 1 cent on feeding. It's good to help trustworthy people |
Mynd44:He has no idea of my mission, but seeing someone teasing the mother makes him laugh and then jumps in our midst as an uninvited guest. I'll just walk away jeje |
Mynd44:My son looks at me with one kind eye, when he sees me in their room. He's only a toddler, but just keep laughing when he sees me getting close. But shame no dey allow me perform, hoping he would sleep soon ![]() |
happigist:For about 8-9 months, I stayed completely away from my wife, believing this myth. We were told about it many years ago |
sweetmelanin:No one wants to die. If I'm to visit US this 2019, I'll go for very less popular states like Alaska, Peurto Rico, indiana, Vermont, Wisconsin etc not the California, Texas, Baltimore or even Pennsylvania. I know how many people that are close to me that lost their relatives between 2016 to 2019. Some of the cases were not reported in the news, but they cry out to us in private of bullying and eventual deaths of loved ones, especially blacks |
Kingkun69:Very good question. Some youths and the way they reason. As a graduate with no previous work experience, you simply have no response to give |
It's simple and provided applicant has genuine intent Applicant must have genuine business ongoing in Nigeria Applicant must have enough funds in company's account Applicant will contact the company/companies he intends buying parts from Applicant must deposit some money with that company as commitment Japanese company will then send invitation letter, showing applicant is genuine for business. It is a business visitor Visa. That's what I did in 2015 and my Visa was released within 4 days. I applied on 28th September, 2015 Visa was issued 2nd October peacefull: |
bucade11:And depends on 4 things 1. How detailed your purpose of travel is 2. Kind of documents packaged for application 3. The mood of officer and how nice he/she is 4. God factor can't be ruled out in paving way |
bucade11:It's the second faster in my Visa application history. Applied on 11th June, 2019 Granted on 5th July, 2019 |
