codedguy1:That rap by Frodd alone, will make the icons win tonight. The Cruise control àbí na Christopher team, will surely lose tonight. Disjointed group |
AfroKnight:It's obvious. This fight has nothing to do with the individual, but the last name. Awolowo Has even been insulted more than Seyi. You need to understand that it all because the name changed something and they believed as the finance minister, that thing affected them badly. But the show is called BBN. And not Big Brother B*****. If Seyi's grandpa didn't fight that year, we may not be having BBN. They should leave the guy alone |
Yale9:Anywhere, by defining achievement first, if graduating from High school is not an achievement, since you believe inheritance is not an achievement. Bianca Ojuiku got appointment not because she deserved it or done anything extra ordinary, but the fact that she's the widow of Ojuiku. I'm waiting to be schooled by you on what achievement means |
thatigboman:Na achievement na. At all na hin bad ![]() |
Mike4TheMoney:He was a ceremonial President. |
Yale9:This seriously? I give up. Some kids were left with wealth and they went into drugs and crumbled the empire. Some decided to take theirs further and surpassed what they were left with and you are here saying Mr Ladi Balogun Group being the Chief Executive officer of FCMB is not an achievement? Are kidding me? Otunba Subomi Balogun founded FCMB. He's over 70 and Ladi is in charge now, just as Paddy is in charge at Glo, likewise his sister Bella Adenuga Can you define achievement for me please? I may be getting something wrong. I need to learn from you Thanks |
Yale9:If you agree with me too that Dangote's children some that are presently managing his assets can't claim any of his achievements or The man that owns Coscharis Motors too |
Yale9:Same way you're yet to see Paddy Adenuga's achievement in the name and estate of his father Otunba Subomi Balogun owns FCMB and his children are running that empire while he's alive. You can as well search for their achievement in their father's estate. |
AfroKnight:I highlighted your post because you're not the first to reiterate this point today. Mike is looking for every opportunity to get at Seyi. It was needless to bring up such a frivolous topic to a trivial discourse. This has more to do with possible, the name and the coronation. |
Tetehjewels:Of course he can and he is That Name awolowo can only become irrelevant when Nigeria ceases to exist. This is one of the reasons why you guys detest that name so much that you can even extend your hatred to his grandson, but the man that led to the death of 2 million innocent soul fighting a battle he could not win and got defeated through the brain of the same Awolowo should be celebrated? It's obvious, what we are reding from you is envy and hatred But somethings will remain constant 1. Distance between Lagos and Abuja 2. Obafemi Awolowo University 3. The name and image on N100 note 4. Awolowo Road in Ikoyi 5. Awolowo Way in Ikeja 6. Awolowo way in Abuja 7. Awolowo way in Ibadan You know what, the place where the show is being broadcast from is not too far away from Obafemi Awolowo in Ikeja, hence that name would still be heard despite the owner of the name being dead and buried, but that name can't be erased from the History of Nigeria. One more thing, the Show is Big Brother Nigeria and Awolowo was part of those that ensure Nigeria was not defeated, hence we have BBN not Big Brother B***** ![]() |
Tetehjewels:This highlighted part alone can make Mike want to just get back at Seyi. Those that watched said voices were heard trying to tell Mike to stop, but he didn't. It's obvious he's the pained one here, whether you accept or not |
thatigboman:It's obvious Mike may just want to get back at Seyi, if what you said is true. At first I thought no one actually attempted to intervene, now you cleared it up |
dominique:Honestly, it's a shame. It shows too many kids are in this year's edition. At least one of the team members should calm one of them down. Venita, Esther, Joe, Gedoni who are obviously close to Seyi could have calmed him down, while Jackye should have done same to Mike her friend |
nadesh:Omode Meta sere sere o won sere ayo |
rahazaqa:This guy, you funny die |
rahazaqa:The division in Nigeria is beginning to show in almost everything we do. I am quite disappointed in the way some people felt about Seyi's celebration yesterday. I wonder where such hatred came from |
ibori1:lol |
Davvymavvy:What? In the days of Mortal Kombart. You hear finishing him ![]() |
routsz:Please go for 5e C band. 90% of the channels broadcast in English Language. As for 9e, 90% of channels broadcast in German Language and they're not FTA. |
Like play like play, we are now 6 6 people on board to say Kia Ora, Thanks for stopping by Myself plus 5 other colleagues. Two more people were granted this morning. It remains two more awaiting response Auckland here we come |
routsz:Check your set up. It's always been active. Just checked now in the office, all channels active |
Predator188:Thanks for stopping by I just don't want to argue with these guys, cause it's like beating a dead horse to move. Nigerians love EPL due to the effect of Kanu, JJ Okocha, Obafemi Martins etc that played in England. When Kanu and George Finidi were in Ajax and won the UCL in 1995, many Nigerians started supporting Ajax and in those days Rashidi Yekini played for Victoria Setubal, Mutiu Adepoju was in Spain and Okocha played in Eintracht Frankfurt. Many Nigerians were limited to Football Made in Germany between 1993 to 1998 when NTA gets their feed from Transtel of Germany. DSTV was not even existing or popular at all. We were watching ABG with those very big dishes in the 90s, and limited to Cable Tel from Disc Engineering receiving signal from Yagi antenna. All of a sudden, TV Africa came in 1997 and started broadcasting EPL, later in 1998 DSTV gained ground with EPL. By then JJ Okocha had moved to England, Kanu also left Inter Milan for Arsenal, leading to these crazy love for EPL. Nigerians think they are the only ones in the world and when they love something fanatically, it is the same elsewhere. DSTV gets EPL through feeds, as the contents they show are not theirs. The satellite they use, no one knows. DSTV gets La Liga also through SKY Sports feed. The satellite they use, no one knows. DSTV gets Serie A through feed as well. The satellite they use, no one knows. That Startimes is getting bundesliga through feed is nothing new. Startimes is from China and they broadcast Bundesliga to South Africa, West Africa and East Africa. The Bundesliga rights provider need to supply Startimes a feed or feed channels close to the region they are broadcasting from, which is why 8 degrees west was selected as it is within reach for Startimes I just don't want to engage in Frivolous argument cos many people view things from their perspective and then generalize DSTV is based in South Africa and not in England, hence all EPL contents are delivered to them through a feed. The feed is coded cos of TV rights and the way England football is |
Armieee:Post on that thread, so myself or others can assist www.nairaland.com/attachments/10134242_Speedlimit_jpg931f2757023b62444af30eeea3509fc9 |
GOFRONT:you don Sabi Dem And Nairaland is promoting them |
So, they've been on it since? Hmmm |
He's now a mad boy, not a Yahoo boy. Because of what? Can't he be sane and prove his innocence? Must he demonstrate 'crase' to prove his innocence? |
Florblu:There's so much ambiguity in what the OP lifted and dumped here. I'll simply as follows. 1. VAT is to be paid by the beneficiary of a service to the service provider. Good example. DSTV or Startimes subscription may actually be ₦1900. But they need to collect VAT on behalf of FIRS. Hence your subscription would then be ₦1900+(5% of ₦1900)= ₦1995 per month. But in most cases the companies round up the figure to ₦2000. 2. After DSTV collects the VAT from you the subscriber, they're not to include that ₦95 as part of their income, rather they must remit to FIRS(Federal Inland Revenue Services) 3. I'll use myself as an example. I'm a consultant in Real Estate and Legal Professions. Hence, when I charge for a service or court case, I must collect VAT from my client. Here's it. If I'm to charge ₦5,000,000 for a case/service, I'll simply ask the client to pay ₦5,000,000+(5% of ₦5,000,000)= ₦5,250,000. At the end of the month, I must remit the extra ₦250,000 to FIRS. 4. All companies registered either Business Name, PLC or LTD, they must collect VAT from their clients or consumers of their services and remit same to FIRS. 5. The day you register your company, same day CAC send your details to FIRS and FIRS generates what's called TIN(Tax Identification Number). That number is like and accout. Hence, when you pay or you don't pay, FIRS will just go to your account to see your balance. 6. Can you lie to FIRS that you didn't make money? Yes you can, but you'll be caught. Cos FIRS will go to your bank to show them your Statement of Account, with that you can be sanctioned or jail for either tax avoidance or tax evasion |
RonKenoly:Yes, he lifted 90% of the content from second source. It's obvious |
This guy is lucky that they didn't even kill him inside prison custody |
Mfunkynation:If you're fortunate to have this channel on 9e, you'll watch Live. They're about to open the studio for live broadcast
|
Trustmeall:Wrong. TSTV is presently on AzerSpace 2/Intelsat 38 at 45.0°E While NigComSat 1R is at 42.5°E They're within proximity but 2.5° apart |
meobizy:Simple reason. Mercy said based on her closeness to Diane, She expected Diane to have save her 'boyfriend' but she didn't. Mercy said if she were to be the holder of a veto, she would save the lover of her friend. They're taking this BS relationship into their kiddies brain, forgetting it's a game and all man for himself. See Nina and Miracle, see Tobi and Alex or Leo and Alex. It's a game and not a relationship centre. Neymar is a team mate with Mbappe in PSG, but when it gets to National team, Neymar would protect his country Brazil first before remembering Mbappe is a club mate |
