I applied for a visit visa to visit Cape Town on the 10th of December 2024 after using about 3 months to prepare for the submission and I submitted everything i ought to have submitted including my previous visa to South Africa and other countries. On the 19th of December 2024, I received my Passport with a visa refusal note and the ground of refusal was solely that the date on my hotel reservation does not tally with the date of my flight reservation, which is obviously not true.

I immediately wrote a written representation explaining clearly that the Visa Officer who assessed my application was hasty in making the decision and has erroneously refused my application and I re-attached my relevant documents. I personally went to the VFS office to submit the written representation and on getting there, the VFS staff present all admitted that the decision was wrong but still persuaded me to re-apply and attach the refusal note rather pursuing my appeal as they had never seen a situation where an appeal was successful but i was adamant in pursuing the appeal. When the Staff saw that i was insistent on proceeding with the appeal, they collected the written representation and supporting documents from me without any form of acknowledgment. I did not hear from them for a short while but one mind kept telling me that it is possible that the VFS staff would just throw my documents somewhere so i went online to get the email address of DHA.

On the 27th of December 2024, I sent the DHA an email firstly introducing myself and thereafter expressing my discontentment with the decision and urging them to review it. I initially did not get a response to the email but after a short while, the CG sent me an email and copied another Senior Consular Officer in the email directing him to look into my concerns.

It was quiet for about 2 weeks until the 15th of January, 2025 when i decided to do a follow up via email. There was no response to the email but after about 30minutes, I received a call from VFS requesting that i submit my passport. Shortly afterwards the CG responded saying I should confirm if my query has been resolved and I replied giving him the update.

On the 17th of January 2025, I went to VFS to submit my passport and on getting there, none of them believed me as they had never seen such happen before. I had to show them the call i received and my mail communication with the CG before I submitted my Passport.

I was called yesterday to come and pick up my Passport and upon getting there today, to the Glory of God, my visa was quietly sitting in my Passport. The person who gives Passport out also did not believe it when i told her the story and she had to refer me to her superior.

When I met the superior, he asked for my tracking ID and all and i told him i don't have any as my case is different, immediately after saying this, he called my surname and asked if i was the one who appealed and I said yes. He reiterated that he had never seen such happen.

One sweet thing about it is that it is the same signature who refused my application that signed on my visa.

I took my time to share this here to encourage someone never to give up, i recall sometime last year when some guys were asking about the success of the written representation and the advice given to them was to go and reapply just like i was advised.

Ive with under 16 and I travelled with an adult, none required Police for Standard Visitor Visa

This sounds like desperation. You don't need to travel to UK to become partner or distributor.

I've never been to China and the closest I got to China, was Hong Kong in 2015, but I've spent $thousands of dollars buying goods from China. I bought all building fittings in my house from China (The post can be found in 2021 in the property sector)

Students that paid School fees get denied, how much more you that wants to to become a partner of a company whose turnover may not even be worth £1,000,000 P/A

If you've not travelled out of Nigeria before, disvirgin your passport with SA, Kenya, Rwanda or Tanzania. Then try France(the easiest route to Europe) alternatively, try Qatar or Oman.

After any of the above options, come back to try UK.

If you want to waste your money that would better serve you and the innocent wives you have and your kids, then ignore UK. But if you have money to waste, continue on this mission.

Your chances of being granted are very slim judging by your immigration record with Home Office.

Also you also don't need to mention you have two wives, except if you've previously applied and mentioned them as your dependent. Otherwise, stick to the first wife that had refusal with you and your kids.

UKVI don't need to know that you have 10 wives.

You also need to be convincing that you're needed physically in the conference, otherwise virtual participation is an option to save you over a £1000 pounds.

Total budget is not the issue. Do you have the income to support this expense?

From what you stated, your monthly disposable income is N700,000. In one year, the assumption is that you have saved N8.4Million. Is that reflected in your statement of account?

If you add 2 wives as your dependant, surely your disposable income will reduce.

You need to think through this thoroughly - otherwise, refusal is loading....

You didn't understand my post at all and also didn't understand all my explanations.

If you're self employed, your business must be doing so well that it is able to make ₦30million a year.

You want to tell UKVI that you earn ₦12m per annum.

Then your business should be generating ₦30million a year.l, cos you have other expenses aside your salary. ₦30m means all salaries of you and staff will be about ₦20m, tax ₦5m then profit as a business about ₦5m after all expenses.

That's how a business work

Don't think by showing account balance Visa Officer would just dash you visa?

Your refusal had nothing to do with time you obtained Certificate. Since it was an agent that ran it, something else caused the refusal.

I visited Belfast with my UK visa, without telling UKVI anything during application.

I applied for French tourist visa from Uk picking London for my visa appointment. My question is in my application which asked will I be visiting other shegen areas, I picked yes and stated Germany and Netherlands. Do I also need to present or show hotel reservations, flight tickets to the countries and what I will be doing in the counties when going for my appointment next month??

N.B: I applied for a 7days visit to France. Inside that 7days, I will be visiting those countries but don’t know when in that 7days but have booked hotel for 7days in Paris and flight to Paris but yet to book for the other said countries.

The Second child has a blue passport.
The Last is 5 and no travel history at all.

apparently my passport has just 3 months visa free so it's more like testing the waters for this first time even though i have plans of staying longer and i already made enquiries about how i will do that when i get there.

That's what I was trying to advise on.

Remember safety, remember legality and how Nigerians may be portrayed if this goes south. I hope and wish you the best, but think about all options very well.

We've all got one life to live and we've no maximise, but in maximizing, just consider your options correctly, if SA would be worth it in the long run.

I am here to give my review after flying Airpeace to and fro on the London route.

I would say that it’s a little below average for an international flight, and with the awareness and media publicity, I was expecting something great.

Boarding was hectic and felt unorganized.

The plane looks too old for an international flight. Seats were already tearing off, and the media screen wasn’t working for most seats, including mine .

However, food and drinks were available anytime you wanted, and I have to give them that.

I enjoyed the meal and lots of drinks .

Not really a great experience, as I love Naija and will likely patronize them again.

The Boeing 777 being used was retired by Singapore Airlines and sold to Air Peace.

That plan is terribly old and they are not doing anything to replace it since March, 2024

When it comes to tourism and vacation, no country beats Türkiye in my opinion. One of the fun of it is the difficulty in communication. Make no mistake, there is a reason why Istanbul was the most visited city in 2023.

Travelling to a country where they don't speak English can be difficult.

My visit to Istanbul was crazy, as the Cab Man could not even pronounce Taskim Premium Residence. We started going round in circles cos of communication barrier. Ended up paying 40tk from Taskim Square to my hotel 🏨
