Many Nigerians, (probably due to Ignorance and lack of exposure) believe that the Nigerian Military must either be fighting Boko Haram or if no war, they should sit in the barracks and not do anything at all, since we are in civilian regime. I have a response for such Nigerians and this is based on empiriral facts, based on what's obtainable in advanced countries.

Was the NA right to embark on medical outreach? Answer is yes. It is not for the doctors alone. Some military personnel are trained physicians and medical experts

Can NA go to PortHarcourt and pack refuse? Answer is Yes they can, as part of humanitarian effort and community service.

Can NA go to Aba to disrupt actions that can likely disturb the peace of Nigeria as a whole? Answer is Yes. They are to protect the National Integrity.

Can the NA come to Ikorodu to stop the activities of Badoo boys? Answer is Yes. It's part of National Security.

Can the NA fight against terrorism? Yes they can. It is under National Security.

Can the NA fight secessionists? Yes they can. It is under National Security.

Can the NA fight Armed Robbers? Yes they can and they should
