So, instead of the government subsidising, has it had always been for years, the government is now making profit. A rare shift from the norm

What has changed is the level of transparency. Unlike under Jonathan, when price drops, they would still claim they're paying subsidy, whereas they're 'eating' the money.

If things stays like this, there's likelihood that pump price of N86.50/litre would still be reduced.
