PoliticsRe: We Should Bring Back The Monarchy System To Nigeria by Day169:
Monarchs in Nigeria have been totally demystified by first, past military governments and now the political class. They have since lost the prestige they once had.
People of questionable character now jostle for recognition as high chiefs as traditional rulers, so where do we begin?

Going by the receipt sent to you, I could hardly tell that there was any difference.

SportsRe: Galatasaray's Top 10 African Goal-Scorers: Where Does Victor Osimhen Rank? by Day169: 12:49pm On Apr 12, 2025
Magnetic010:
You are the one who missed the point my good bro...the post is about highest scoring africans not goals per games ratio. Those are two different stats.
I think while the number of goals is a reflection of the prolific scoring ability of Osimhen, it says little about the quality of this young man.
However, thanks for your point, Sir, and it's well taken. 👍🏾

SportsRe: Galatasaray's Top 10 African Goal-Scorers: Where Does Victor Osimhen Rank? by Day169: 11:02am On Apr 12, 2025
Though it's quite an interesting post you have here, I think you may have missed the point by a wide margin.
What I'd rather have said is to display each player's goal per game tally.
That'll put Osimhen in a class of his own with no other (not even Drogba) coming anywhere near.
The guy's just phenomenal. cool
PoliticsRe: Nairalanders, Stop Attacking Moderators by Day169: 10:33am On Apr 12, 2025
Let's not digress from the message. What he said was that most of the moderators were not being paid.. (that may be debatable) but the essence of the post is for members to be more civil in their approach to matters.
Your point is noted and appreciated. Thank you.
PoliticsRe: Benin City Looked Amazing In 1847, 50 Years Before British Invasion by Day169: 8:45am On Apr 12, 2025
Benin looks even much worse now, more than 50 years after the British left. This means they only came to destroy and plunder.
This is not to take away the fact we ourselves have further complicated issues. undecided

FamilyRe: What Is The Nigerian Dream? by Day169: 5:57pm On Apr 11, 2025
I'd say the Nigerian dream would be a nation with good governance and a sense of national pride where basic amenities are available.
Affordable housing, education, feeding and health, devoid of insecurity, where the police is your friend, with religious and ethnic tolerance.
In other words, a nation with common sense. undecided
FamilyRe: I Now Know Why Billionaires Give Away Their Riches At Death by Day169: 9:47pm On Apr 10, 2025
Well, going by your reference post, 1% of Bill Gates' wealth still exceeds a billion dollars which is more than enough for 10 lifetimes. On the contrary each of the children may be doing well for themselves if they've their dad's business acumen.
Nevertheless the fastest way to raise an slowpoke is to shower him with exceeding riches unearned.
