Kobojunkie:Well, I hope your advice is noted but if they do not have a financial plan at the least, then all income is down the drain. |
Kobojunkie:Should we rather throw our hands up in the air and give up hope? .. I admit that things are utterly bad but to stop hoping is to accept imminent death. ![]() The young man was asking for some financial advice so, I find it quite uncharitable when you mutter that I don't seem to understand what's happening. I'm in the rot too and where are you, by the way? |
.. aiding digestion. ![]() |
Jerchance:I like to think of my finances as a formation in a football game, and I'm an advocate of the 3-4-3 system (since you have a child), my 'defence' is rent and school fees (30% of salary), 'midfield' is feeding and bills (40% of salary), and attack will comprise savings, investment and pocket money (30%). You can tinker with the formation to suit your purpose, but do the best you can to stick to the plan. After all, all stress and no spice can quickly kill a man! ![]() |
As for me, there is no confusion. A bird in hand beats two in the bush. I'll advise he starts with the farm business. ![]() |
Thank God and a merry Christmas to everyone! 🎄 |
.. but this is old news. Why not let sleeping dogs lie. I'm looking forward to a better 2025. ![]() |
Statistically speaking, or in other words, the health of our dear nation is only as important as the kidnappers ransom. ![]() |
. |
parkervero:Why then are you bringing it to the forum if your mind is made up even to the point of death? ![]() |
That's almost equal to what kidnappers have made in the same year (as headlined earlier), and VAT free! ![]() |
It's arguably the most lucrative venture in the country right now. That's more than what conglomerates like the big banks and other multinational companies made. It's even more than what most states budgeted for 2025. Meanwhile they had minimal losses such as arrests and deaths from gun duels with security agencies. That's why more people are enlisting in the trade. ![]() |
Distressing piece of news. |
The Nigerian Police.. one of the very few "natural disasters" bedevilling our dear country! .. on the other hand, she seriously isn't ready to do any PR work for her country of origin. |
Mauritius? Whao! .. that seemingly tiny African country? I wonder what nature of investments they have in the Nigerian economy. |
Mtschew.. chicken change. ![]() That's less than 1% of what he's being accused of stealing. ![]() |
That's a hefty fine for a relatively small company, when compared to the commercial banks. .. looks like an indirect taxation to me. ![]() |
May your revenue be boosted continually! .. congratulations!! |
.. I'd fall back asleep. ![]() |
Whao! |
OduduwaNow:Dozen price? ![]() .. just don't make the mistake of wearing it in Benin city! ![]() |
Xscape1993:.. majority of our people, you mean. It just summarises the mindset of most of our people when they get into politics, regardless of whatever humble beginnings they may've had. ![]() |
The Russians are becoming notorious for beating fast retreats from external naval bases in recent times (often with their tails between their legs). ![]() |
This is another sign that the government owned refineries be sold of ASAP! |
I wonder how the "butterfly effect" plays out here. 1. Russia's invasion of Ukraine may have used up supplies used to prop up the Assad government. 2. Consequently, Turkey would've taken the initiative to further embolden the rebels. 3. The Oct 7 massacre in Southern Israel by Hamas and the resultant onslaught by the IDF to eliminate Hamas, Hezbollah, and allied resistance in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria. 4. Military hardware destined for Hezbollah, from Iran, may've been taken over by rebels in Syria as a result of Israels blockade. 5. The US factor.. either covertly or overtly. |
Why is it that there are no footages or pictures when the Nigerian armed forces claim to have neutralised dozens and scores of bandits and terrorists (.. perhaps with only pictures of NAF jets , or soldiers in training) but go to town with gory pictures a bullet ridden body of a single cultist being "neutralised"? .. I think it speaks volumes of our state of affairs. ![]() |
youngsahito:GBAMsolutely! ![]() |
Foodqueen:This sounds more like it. You hit her in her sensitive spot and she retorted. It's probably just a storm in a teacup. ![]() |
Past time mentality with a potential bright future, wasted. ![]() Such a pity and a sad story. |
Good news, but the headlines alone are not able to sway the opinions of Nigerians who have little trust in the validity of information that emanate from government. ..verified footages of these terrorists being decimated will go a long way in re-instilling the lost confidence in the minds of our people. |
OgbeniOja1: ![]() |
OgbeniOja1:The gentleman may be thinking ahead. |
