MartinCorridon: I'm a Muslim and it is extremely stupid to subsidise Hajj.
God instructed us to go ONLY if we can afford the trips.
Trillions have been wasted on pilgrimage to Mecca and Jerusalem while our own country has continued to rot.
We are the most religious. We pay tithes in churches and go for Hajj.
Same set of "religious" people embezzle, cheat and rape their maids.
Always said it. If I become President, will immediately stop subsidising Hajj and tax the hell out of churches.
You will refuse to pay taxes but you're loyal to paying tithes. Yet Jesus said " Give unto to Caesar what's Caesar's and give unto God what's God".
Funny enough, Arabs and Jews hate Blacks more than excreta yet we Africans have adopted their gods as superior to ours. Thought provoking! |

I expressed my concerns to another passenger because we were still waiting for about two other people to complete and he said I shouldn't worry myself. That nothing will happen, they are experienced drivers in no time we will get there. I don't know if I should take my money back and endure the time wasted then enter another loading moto. I've never been a proponent for motorbikes in this clime. As quick, time saving and enjoyable as the ride may be, for me, the cons still far outweigh the pros. With the road rage and lawlessness that goes on daily on our roads, even adorning the full gear offers very little protection for the lives of the riders. |

zeuss: Why did the innocent citizens of Gaza rejoice when innocent Israeli citizens were killed and their mutilated bodies were paraded inbroad day light. Why won't the innocent citizens of Gaza and Lebanon stop the terror actors from storing and firing missiles from the children's bedroom........ innocence is more than just a word......the madness is tolerance for terrorism never the defence against it. Israel is safer and so Israel is truly winning. I've not taken sides my brother. I'm just questioning where our humanity as "beings" now is. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Head Of Hezbollah - Nasrallah Is Dead - Official IDF by Day169: 10:10am On Sep 28, 2024 |
Unclewilly: Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was killed in the IDF's strike on Hezbollah's headquarters in Beirut on Friday, the IDF announced Saturday morning.
Early life and rise to power Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary-general of Hezbollah, has led the Shia militant and political organization since 1992. Born in Beirut in 1960, Nasrallah started his political journey in the Amal Movement before joining Hezbollah in the early 1980s. Under his leadership, Hezbollah grew into a powerful force with significant military capabilities and political influence in Lebanon.
Hezbollah’s conflicts with Israel Hezbollah, under Nasrallah's command, has frequently clashed with Israel, with notable confrontations like the 2006 Lebanon War. Nasrallah’s leadership during these conflicts has boosted his popularity, especially among those who view Hezbollah as a symbol of resistance against Israeli occupation.
Despite the heavy toll on Lebanon, Hezbollah emerged with a narrative of defiance and survival that Nasrallah has used to galvanize support.
Recent escalations and challenges In recent weeks, tensions have escalated as Israel continues targeted strikes against Hezbollah, focusing on its operatives and infrastructure. Nasrallah has condemned these actions as acts of war, accusing Israel of targeting civilian areas in Lebanon. He vowed retaliation, warning that Hezbollah is prepared for a prolonged confrontation if necessary.
Strategic position and future threats While Nasrallah projects confidence, he also faces significant challenges, including military setbacks and internal Lebanese opposition. Israeli officials, like retired IDF Colonel Kobi Marom, argue that this is an opportune moment to strike at Hezbollah’s leadership to prevent future escalations.
Nasrallah’s cautious approach reflects a delicate balance between military engagement and avoiding a broader conflict that could undermine Hezbollah’s position. Sadly, there are no overt winners in this mad and gorry slaughter of humans. If I was an Israeli who had lost a loved on in last October's mayhem, no amount of slaughter of Gazan's and Hezbollah’s hierarchy will assuage the pain being felt and for Israel, no amount of retribution is adequate but in reality, the innocent people who die everyday have a right to life just as the slain Israelis did. So how long will the world observe from a distance the madness going on in the Middle East? Like they say, it's the beginning of war we know.. no one knows how it will turn out. Lord have mercy! |
