The madness 😠 is on.. but frankly, the youth have to be more strategic in their thinking. There are more constructive ways to express their frustration or rejection of political aspirants, both locally and in the diaspora. Violence is not an option.

What's wrong with Argentina, this will damage the country's reputation and reduce the love Africans have been showing them for decades

She said Argentina never had colonies or try to impose their way of life on others, maybe she's right, but the action of the players is unacceptable, she's just trying to defend the indefensible

political leaders, footballers and other celebrities should be careful of what they say
They've just lost my support, permanently! angry

They were the only team to win all their matches prior to the final game. They were forged in fire with teams like France and hosts, Germany, in their way, so they were the natural favourites.
True champions! 🏆

PoliticsRe: Rising Appetite For Oil For Cash Loans Traps Nigeria’s Next-Generation by Day169: 5:01am On Jul 11, 2024
There are different sides to a problem, just as there may be different approaches to the solution.
I think it's imperative for the government to begin to think out of the box by increasing their other sources of income generation, save for higher taxes, either by boosting non oil exports or reducing the waste in governance.

This is an unparalleled act of leadership in the "post-presidential" years. Did I read that he renounced his pension and then returned to the classroom to teach? shocked
This is one of the most impactful ways to impart patriotism into the teeming youth of any nation.
Granted that I'm not a fan of their style of government, I can hardly think of a better way of expressing life's simplicity.

HealthRe: What Is Usually The First Sign Of Hiv? by Day169: 2:38pm On Jun 28, 2024
tryzkk37:
Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a serious and life-threatening condition that affects millions worldwide. While it's a manageable condition with antiretroviral therapy (ART), early detection is crucial to prevent long-term damage and transmission to others. In this article, we'll explore the initial symptoms of HIV, which often go unnoticed or misdiagnosed.

The Early Symptoms

The first signs of HIV can appear within 2-4 weeks after exposure and may resemble a mild flu or viral infection. The common symptoms include:

- Fever
- Headache
- Chills and night sweats
- Swollen lymph nodes
- Rash
- Fatigue
- Muscle aches
- Sore throat
- Ulcers in the mouth, esophagus, anus, or genitals

It's important to note that not everyone will experience symptoms in the early stages of HIV infection. In some cases, people may remain asymptomatic for years, making regular testing essential for early detection.

Why Early Detection Matters

Detecting HIV early is vital for several reasons:

- Early treatment: Starting ART soon after diagnosis can significantly improve the quality of life and life expectancy.
- Preventing transmission: Knowing your status and taking medication as prescribed can significantly reduce the risk of transmitting HIV to others.
- Reducing complications: Early treatment can prevent long-term damage to the immune system, reducing the risk of opportunistic infections and cancers.

Getting Tested

If you suspect you've been exposed to HIV or are experiencing symptoms, get tested immediately. You can take a rapid test at a healthcare clinic, hospital, or testing center. The test involves a quick finger prick or oral swab, and results are usually available within minutes.

Conclusion

Recognizing the first signs of HIV is crucial for early detection and effective management. Don't ignore the symptoms or assume they'll go away. Take control of your health, and get tested today. Remember, knowledge is power, and early detection can make all the difference in living a healthy life with HIV.
All of these early symptoms are like malaria.
.. how does one really know?

JasonNOTStatham:
A bit tricky question. If one earns in dollars, a lower USD means the value of their portfolio and assets (in USD) will drop significantly. A higher USD value regardless of inflation or high cost, keeps it in range.

The thing is the percentage rise isn't balanced with current economic impact. Earning $1000 around ₦200 per USD would buy you one laptop in 2015, whilst earning $1000 now at over 1500 would buy you more laptops.
Interesting perspective. 👍🏾
BTW.. are we sure that this Jason isn't truly Statham? wink

PoliticsRe: FAAC Allocation Before & After Subsidy by Day169: 4:17pm On Jun 22, 2024
Despite the increment, the state governments claim in unison that they can't sustain a minimum wage of about 62k.
I assume the increased funds will first of all impact of their security votes before the welfare of the people.
It appears the greater ineptitude is from the states rather than the federal government.
That's probably why a former governor can be accused of misappropriation of 80 billion naira. undecided
