Zonefree:A single 'patriot' missile for the job? ![]() |
Perhaps it's time to call it the 'Bob-risky' law! ![]() |
I fear for the consequences of a wider conflagration. Yorubas have a saying.. "it's the beginning of war we know. We don't how it may end. " |
Oakenshield:.. quick appointment? ![]() |
Our barriers in life are where we accept them to be. .. Well done @Lamanii22! 👍🏾 |
The NAKED truth! ![]() |
A nation at crossroads.. We are our own worst enemies. ![]() |
A flying fox! |
The lives of humans do not differ much from these in many instances. The fight for territory, to protect one's family and keep access to their women and (food) resources is the primary reason for conflict. Greed and envy usually brings the skirmishes a lot closer home. Man's evolution through civilization only serves to put a thin veil over our basic instincts. Or how do you describe the situation in Ukraine and Palestine? We're just higher animals after all. |
Bell Biv DeVoe.. 1990, or Jodeci.. 1991!

The wedding is a day while the marriage should be a lifetime. Besides, your father in law still calls the shots until he gives away his daughter. So you need to chill and apply a little wisdom, Bro. .. wish you a happy wedded life. ![]() |
The new moon may not be sighted today, since there's a solar eclipse going on. |
2 down, more to go. 👍🏿 |
Peace be onto you, Air Peace! 🙏🏾 |
It's just a harsh reality of things, and so it's time for everyone to answer his father's name. ![]() |

P.O.. maybe. . A.A, unlikely! |
When both parties disown one another, then a divorce is inevitable. .. but who'll be the biggest losers in the schism? The teeming party supporters, I fear. ![]() |
May the Lord help us all. At this point in our national life, if BAT succeeds, it'll be better for us all, otherwise woe betide the nation. May you succeed, Mr President! 🙏🏾 |
I've often wondered the meaning or use of the 9ja expressions 'the guy don cast' or "him cup don full". Now I need no further explanation. As a matter of fact, his cup don overful sef! ![]() |
The money mindset without wisdom is largely responsible for where we are today as a country. I strongly recommend "The Richest Man in Babylon" for junior secondary school students as a compulsory self-help book and everyone who cares to read. It's the manuscript for wealth creation and emphasises the moral of getting wisdom for wealth. So, I'll undoubtedly choose wisdom! |
EmperorCaesar:You have a point here. I had opined some years ago that Mr Uche changed his last name from "Secondus" to 'Festus', which perhaps may've changed his fortunes. ![]() |
His spirit will continue to lead them. ![]() |
The vicissitudes of life. ![]() |
.. to imagine how many of them have escaped up until now. ![]() |
Make you hear the guy name sef.. Mr -An- don 'Ja(pa)', e mo get time for "wa(ha)lla".. Na Oduology o! On a serious note, it exposes the extreme lapses in the country's security network. 9ja seems to be porous in almost every way!! ![]() |
Yeah, and secondary schools of those days are much cleaner than what we have now. ![]() |
