Nothing will give pdp more joy than Tinubu pulling out of apc, one that is the end of the party, two pdp is sure of 2019.

Can saraki build a party to fave pdp, his influence ends in the current position. This is saraki at his best he cannot be president ever nor can he be a VP in future.

He has passed across a message and its a very lovely one. He joins Atiku on the list if unelectable politicians in Nigeria.


The goodwill fashola enjoys today is because he knows which battles to fight and when to concede, Fashola as it stands has more political prospect than Atiku, saraki and David mark all rolled into one.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that they cannot fulfill their campaign promises in Nigeria as the Pro-PDP Senators have hijacked the National Assembly seats.
This was made known today by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Lai Mohammed, in an interview on Channels TV Breakfast show.
Lai Mohammed lamented that it would be difficult for the Executives to carry out their developmental plans and policies, which Nigerians have given them the mandate through the General Elections, under the current Pro-PDP senate caucus.
According to him, “APC can’t fulfill it campaign promises anymore because it didn’t get the Senate President and Speaker that it wanted.
"What we have in the Senate now is the Pro-PDP senates which are not in the interest of our party. How do you expect us to sit with Ekweremadu and Mark to discuss matter of National importance” Lai Mohammed.
The APC, on Tuesday, lost it proffered candidates for the seat of the Senate and House of Representative to some faction of the APC in alliance with the PDP Senators-elect while attending to the meeting at the International Conference Centre in Abuja where they were supposed to have a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The meeting end abruptly on hearing the news of the election at the National Assemble where Senator Bukola Seraki and Honourable Yakubu Dogara as the Senate President and Speaker respectively .

The rope holding APC's broom together has loosened if care aint taken, they wont ve brooms anymore but sticks... IMO, APC was never about Change they were chanting but their individual selfish interests. What am yet to understand is how the emergence of Saraki and Dogara stops the so called "change" they promised from coming to reality even though they are influential members of the party¿.

Though am not a fan of Tinubu because of his feudal and "grabbish" tendencies;and a diehard supporter of PMB since 2007 because of my firm belief in his person and abilities;on this score am fully with Tinubu.
The aloofness and wanting to be seen to be "more democratic" than democracy itself of PMB has put the party and most importantly the nation on this absurd,totally wrong and potentially derailing path.
There is no reason on earth for PMB to have allowed the emergence of a Saraki/ekweremadu senate;its unheard of and totally wrong.
PMB has done wrong and must correct this mistake using whatever means he can find.Those means are readily available to him;let's hope he can use them,not just to save himself,the party but particularly the nation.
Saraki/ekweremadu senate presidency must not stand!

I never knew that Nigeria has become an extension of the UK. The UK anti-corruption agency will be the one fighting corruption in NIGERIA, and their Military will fight BH(another Iraq). So what is the use of Buhari in power when the UK is to take care of our domestic issues? Nigerians should have been told that we are the newest British territory.
To think that paid APC trolls are hailing this is pathetic, and more pathetic that President Buhari saw no shame in retweeting it.

Great. You see, this was why I kept laughing at people when they were insulting the president for making no appointments after being sworn in. It was the biggest display of ignorance nd naivety.

These are appointments, and when you make such, you can't just simply fire such persons, and since the NASS elections of principal officers were yet to hold, an act that would ensure the balance of power, Buhari's hands were simply tied.

Now that that has been put behind us, he's in a better position to draw up a comprehensive list of his cabinet members bearing in mind the implications of concentrating too much power in a particular zone.

Regardless, I'm all for appointing competent hands irrespective of where they come from or what tribe or religion they belong to.

I do not know how else to get the message across to Tinubu, that Buhari is not one of those old greedy pigs that could be manipulated or intimidated.

Buhari.. an extremely clever man when it comes to relationships is well prepared on how to deal with power hungry Nigerians like Tinubu.
President Buhari is so energized and determined to deliver Nigeria from the hands of blood sucker..

This may be the right time for ashiwaju to count his blessings, stay home and spend time with his grand kids.

Please stop all this nonsense. You can't be locked out of a meeting that you're not supposed to attend in the first place. There is no country in the world where the Vice President is required to attend routine presidential security briefings. I have never heard reports of Joe Biden being "locked out" of Obama's routine security briefings with his CIA director. These kinds of meetings are one on one affairs. Even Namadi Sambo did not attend when Jonathan was being briefed.

A lot of people have been writin different opinion but I think people failed to understand dat tinubu isn't d only party leader although he may have a favourite, but wat saraki and dogora did yesterday is something anybody who is ambitious can do, it didn't require any serious game plan, all dey add to do is damn d consequences and go to d PDP who is looking fir something to give dem hope for 2019. One thing I just realised yesterday is dat both saraki and dogora were d choice of most of their colleagues judging by d votes yesterday, it showed saraki only had 7 followers plus himself makin 8 and dogara only had 31, which means they realy went against d wish of not just the party leaders but their colleagues who will be in d house with dem and dat is where they differ to tambuwal, cos tambuwal only went against d wish of d party leaders and not his fellow members, and he also didn't deprive dem of other positions being the majority
