Afterall, the players confessed they haven't be learning tactics - they have been practising penalties since last tuesday
While the Germans would consider NOT beating Engerland a failure of massive proportions

Any German team would beat Engerland by at least 2 goal margin

2007 U17, Germany 4 Engerland 1,
UEFA U17 2009 Germany 4 England 0
UEFA U21 germany 4 Engerland 0
UEFA Female Germany 6 Engerland 2

FIFA world cup Germany 4 Engerland 1

The funny part is These German youths beat the best collection of English players in 30 yrs.

I wonder what would happen when this german team peaks in 4 years and Engerland is represented by Walcott, Muamba, Gibbs, Wilshere and Campbell

I laff in Larubawa

That's not the point, DayoNAZI.

Germany 3-2 England 1970
Germany 5-4 England 1990
Germany 4-1 England 2010
That should be my new siggy. I told anyone who cared to listen that Lampard, Gerrard, Terry and co can never wear German jersey.

I remember Sharon wa-nking himself to death because England won germany in a meaningless friendly, I told you when the proper tournament comes you know who to dial.

I can remember telling you on the Ballack thread to have some faith in these young-bloods they play a pattern i have never seen before in all my years of watching the Mannschaft (Since 1994) Whether they can beat the Argies is another matter though but they have till Saturday to prepare
Seriously though when would England beat Germanyhuh U21,Senior team,Men,Women,Cripple,Blind,Deaf,Dumb ol boy i tire for the matter
Ichiro, Dont get ahead of yourself, Germany's test isnt England, Any german team from U13 is expected to beat Engerland. Even the female team would beat this Engerland.

Playing Engerland was like playing Australia, even Aussies can claim they got a red card or football isnt their national sport, what of England?

My doubt stems from how the youngins would fare when they play real teams like Argentina, Brazil, Holland etc

Cool down Ichiro, I am partially drunk though,

Germany didnt win in 1970

^^ There was a reason top coaches took risks on some players but never touched others

Ferguson would rather gamble with Quiton Fortune that pay 5Naira on Okocha

My money is on Higuain,Villa or Muller. The only thing that will count against Muller is the fact the Nazis WILL head home in the next match.
Sue me Dayo
I am not counting on Muller for that.

Muller would win young player of the tournament and I told everyone that 2 weeks ago

We saw him play and he was gash in 1994.
One of the reasons Westerhof never really liked him.
Which top coach can see Okocha and play him in his team? I cant even play Okocha in any U23 team.

In Atlanta he almost made us lose with his pedestrian play vs Brazil which includes losing a penalty. His specialty were spitting like a snake, chewing gum like a hooker and trying tricks unsuccessfully.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Argentina: [0 - 1] On June 12, 2010 @ World Cup by dayokanu(m): 12:01am On Jun 28, 2010
Jay Jay will definately fall somewhere in between. . . go watch our match against the Ivorien and the Azzuris in 94 in the ACN and WC respectively. Those were vintage performances from the dude and you can not take away the fact he is one good footballer. And wetin that silly Guinean take better pass Jay Jay?
What did Okocha do vs CIV in 1994 semi finals? Titi Camara is wayyy better than Okocha

It's the unfortunate thing about him. . . .i could remember Allardyce thinking out loud in an interview on why that occured.JJ is a good player and i am wondering why Diouf  is in your top 20 and JJ isn't?
Diouf was African footballer of the year twice, A Big club Liverpool looked in the direction of Diouf, the biggest club JJ played for was PSG who cant even match Lens(Diouf). Diouf was best player in Lens.

Allardyce probably thinks Kevin Davies is better than Messi. How can you quote that failure in football discussions?

JJ could do stuff with the ball on one spot and embarass most defenders. People who can take shots you thought impossible.

He could control the ball blind-folded. People who can create tricks you have not seen before.
Those skills are needed by ball jugglers who entertain at the National stadium not professional footballers

Throughout 94, Okocha could only point to one assist against CIV.
Compare his input to Oliseh's in that vintage year. . . . .
Okocha is a ball juggler - similar to Joe Cole or Denilson of Brazil in 1998
Exactly!!! Denilson is exactly the player like Okocha .

Oliseh was twice the player Okocha was. . . . I have seen em both live on several ocassions, and I do not hesitate to say that Oliseh was the king of the midfield. . . . both defensively and offensively. . . . Oliseh's passing was simply brilliant and he hardly ever lost possession. . . .

Tunis 94, Oliseh must have provided 4 assists by playing straight passes over the top to Yekini. . . . twice against Zaire and Gabon. . . . he was simply brilliant. . . .

Okocha only played at the highest level for 18 months of his life at Bolton. Then soon as Bolton gave him new contract, he couldnt run anymore.

If Okocha is great, what would these lot say about Ahmed Hassan and Aboutrika, two infinitely more incisive playmakers than Okocha?
Imagine people saying tosh about Okocha as if we didnt see the same Jayjay
Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Argentina: [0 - 1] On June 12, 2010 @ World Cup by dayokanu(m): 11:29pm On Jun 27, 2010
was quicker than Jay-Jay but okocha was a better player infact JJ is more popular than abedi who despite winning the french league and one champions league never got the exposure a world cup gives,
Tosh. High grade tosh.

So Popularity determines a players quality? Then Beckham is the best player to ever kick the ball.

Weah didnt play the world cup? Abedi played when Africa had 2-3 slots and Okocha when world cup became free for all.

How was Okocha a better player? You must know something, all top European clubs and coaches dont know
Sports › Re: Germany comprehensively whoops England (Finals score 4-1) by dayokanu(m): 11:26pm On Jun 27, 2010
As far as I am concerned, England did not win any World Cup.

You are forgetting that that was the most biased World Cup ever played. . . . after the English establishment must have payed off the powers that be.

They should have been knocked out in the quarterfinal if not for clearly biased officiating against Argentina. The ref was just sending off Argentina players for nothing. The Argentines got so upset, they nearly walked off the pitch, and resorted to fighting. It is from that match that the term "Argie bargie" was coined to describe the fact that the Argentines like fighting on the pitch.

Then in the semi-final, they were supposed to play Portugal at Goodison Park. Portugal by right of winning their group had played all their games at Goodison. At the last minute, the match was switched to Wembley, which the Portuguese decry as a foul play. Whilst change of venue may not explain Englands win, it highlights the fact that England were corrupt, and used every corrupt means to gain an advantage.

Then we have the final, and the phantom goal.

As far as I am concerned, England is a B-rate team in world footie. One fake World Cup, no European Championships. . . . but they keep running their mouth

England's problem is more deep-rooted than the formation.
They don't have technical players. . . . . .Their talented youths are at home playing PS3.
So it has dawned on you now? If Ozil, Muller and Khedira can sodomised their best collection of Gerrard, lampard and Rooney, Imagine what it would be like when they play Wilshere, Walcott, Lennon and Muamba.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Argentina: [0 - 1] On June 12, 2010 @ World Cup by dayokanu(m): 11:20pm On Jun 27, 2010
My friend, JJ is the most naturally gifted player from Africa ever to play professionally.
.
According to Sagamite and complete Sports

Abedi might be better overall and achieved more, but not as naturally gifted, even if highly gifted.
What is natural gift? What has those attributes got to do with football? Its like saying those ball jugglers at half time in National stadium are more skillful and naturally talented than Messi.

It is like comparing Maradona to Ronaldinho.
I cant see the correlation pls.

Whats naturally gifted about Okocha?
Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Argentina: [0 - 1] On June 12, 2010 @ World Cup by dayokanu(m): 11:17pm On Jun 27, 2010
Sauron and Dayo, what indices did you guys use to adjudge this your top 20 players in Africa

Japhet Ndoram,Diouf,Titi Camara et al ahead of Jay Jay?

Why not Oman Ben Sala,Khalilou Fadiga,Nkono,Kunde et al ahead of him

Jay was quite unfortunate in the path his club career towed but to mention some of these names ahead of him(in the area of skill and craft) is sacrilegious.
Jayjay played in a privileged era when law were lax for Africans and he still didnt cut it.

Skill and craft? Go and watch Siyabonga Nomvete he is a similar player to Okocha, stupid dribbles no end result.

Whats unfortunate about his career? Top clubs never wanted to touch him even with a long stick It wasnt like Okocha rejected opportunities, They would rather have Fadiga(Inter Milan), Omar Ben Sallah got into police trouble in France, I heard he beat his child and got arrested for abuse by his whitee wife

Thanks for reminding me of Kunde, and Thomas Nkono(Who benched Antoine Bell another great keeper)

It's the best headed goal i have seen in the last 7 millenniums

Top African 20 players of all time Jay Jay cant smell it.

Weah, Abedi, Milla, Etoo, Drogba, Kanu, Rabah Madjer,Finidi, Yeboah, Yekini, Osei Kuffour, Oman Biyik, Ladhkar Belloumi, Essien, AbdulRazak, Bwalya, Diouf Taribo, Adebayor, Kanoute, Ndoram

thats 20, I never even mention Kolo and yaya Toure, Seydou Keita, Mohammed Zidan etc

Top 5 Nigerian Jay Jay cant (Kanu, Yekini, Finidi, Taribo, Oliseh)

Currently Steven Pienaar is playing at a much higher level than Okocha ever did

Zidane belongs in the 2nd echelon of greats. His stars were well aligned for him to deliver at the big finals (1998 Wc and UCL 2002). That aside, he would not rank higher than Socrates who played the same way as him.
Lailai.

After Maradona comes Zidane, Cryuff, Ronaldo, Pele, Beckenbauer, Ronaldinho, Baggio and Muller.

Messi would always be judged by his success at the world cup,

Wesley Sneijder has done better than any German player. . . . .
Why not Wesley Snipes and Bruce Lee?

Errrrrrrrm. . . . . . . .How can i also forget players like Asamoah Gyan and David Villa?
20yr old Muller has 3 goals and 3 assists, Tell me other players records

The Germans' stock are rising too but the hype ends when the team a player plays for gets eliminated.
They have been lucky playing teams who major sport is either cricket(Australia), Shoemaker(Ghana) or Ludo(England)
Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Argentina: [0 - 1] On June 12, 2010 @ World Cup by dayokanu(m): 10:41pm On Jun 27, 2010
Jay jay is far better than them.

Jay jay is the most skilful and naturally gifted player to come out of Africa.
These are words of a rookie football fan. The skills Abedi pele has in his toenails would sink Jayjay.

Abedi was one of 3 foreigners deemed good enough to fit into the great Marseille side of then. You need to see Abedi schooling Rijakaard, van Basten, Donadoni and Papin in the 1993 CL finals.

An African wearing number 10 for a CL winner in the 90's is never seen even up till now How many Africans are playmakers for top European sides

Jay jay ko, Kay kay ni. Even Cyril makanaky was better than Jayjay. Its a pity how people celebrate mediocrity

How can the great Wayne Rooney remain goalless in the world cup after playing superpowers like Trininad and Tobago, Ecuador, Sweden, Paraguay, Algeria, USA and Slovenia!!!! shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked

He doesnt even have an assist

ot that Lampard I chose would think "hitting the bar" is the name of the game

The same blind people who thought the combination of Gerrard, Lampard, Millner and Barry can match Schweinsteiger and Khedira.

Now I visit Westpark and 59.

The last time I was moving and had to talk to a neighbour for a minute, I discovered those Kokoyes threw away some of my stuff into the trashbin.

@ DayoKanu

Though, me and you have never crossed path on this board but i must sincerely apologize for "seeing and viewing" you as a worthless and jobless Anglophobic troll.

I agree with everything DK says without apologies to the Pro-EPL commandoes on this board. Does Dayo go overboard? Hell yeah, but who doesn't?

But for Germany to keep on trouncing England on the big stage with 'em "ordinary players" (as some would posit) then maybe DayoKanu head dey house for real.

This current Mannschaft team  is the truth. Very ruthless, efficient and unforgiving.

Imagine Germany's next generation humiliating, owning and sodomizing England's so-called Golden generation to a tilt?

This German team reminds me of Soviet technology: very cheap, sometimes lousy but ruthlessly efficient to a pulp.

While Soviet technology may have lacked  finesse, this German team has an abundance of finesse to decimate its opponent and even give some out as a bailout to the next 25 footballing nations!

This is an indictment and a Big shame to Trevor Bookings , Scudamore and all the other clowns running English football!
You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

Schweinsteiger showed why Lampard and Gerrard are no better than 3rd grade footballers in Germany.

Arne Friedrich who relegated with Hertha Berlin showed by JT is all brawns and less brains

Where was Ashley Cole BTW, Taken apart by a 20yr old Muller who started pro football less that 1 year ago

Gareth Barry, Milner, Heskey, Upson etc  cant start for German U15

This is a German team without their first two goalies, without their most experieced player and captain, without their DM(Simon Rolfes) and sodomised the best English set up i the last 30yrs, even with a world class Cappelo

Though England was never really convincing all through the tournament,I strongly feel that if Lampard's legit goal hadbeen allowed to stand, the momentum with have been with the three lions and the final outcome of that game may just have been a little different. So the Germans should tone down their celebration cos it was a robbery

Simply put,ENgland was robbed;PERIOD
The 2 teams started the game at 0-0 and at 30min it was 2-0 It could easily have been 4-0.
AT the end of the game it was 4-1

Dont forget England won their only world cup from a goal line error by a lineman
