Can you do the investigation for us, Go to CSU on 95/Dan Ryan and find out if Tinubu was ever enrolled, If he ever worked for AA, GTE, Delloite and even Mobil

Maybe he conned all these companies. It would surely be a blockbuster

In Japan 2002- Africa had 5 slots, Only one made it to second round
In Germany 2006- Africa had 5 lots, Only 1 made it to the second round
Even in SA 2010 - Africa had 5 slots, Only 1 made it to second round

Reduce Africa to 3 and give the rest to South America and others

Well, if wikipedia says something, it is generally a good idea to do your own investigation on the side to figure if what you read is not made up.

Sure, but both "independent" sites reference wikipedia as source of info. It could be that the one site still continues old unmodified copy of the profile on Tinubu on wiki.
Tinubu's personal profile says it, 2 other website say it, Then what do you expect for someone who hasnt been proven by a competent court to be lying about his qualification?

Do you expect me to go to Arthur Andersen, Delloite, GTE or Mobil to ask if Tinubu ever worked with them?

Or should I go to 95th/Dan Ryan to Chicago State University records to prove it?

I have never gone to Harvard to ask about Obamas records, nor have I gone to MIT to ask if Bill Gates was there like he claimed

When he made his debut doesnt affect number of caps. The over 70 caps says it all.

Even if we assume he made his debut in 2006, That is one of the worst return for a striker in Europe.

Tell me any regular striker for a top national team who has such abysmal records.

Never mind that he plays in front of the most creative midfield and Spain relies on its striker to score goals as Spanish midfielders hardly score

What gave you the impression that it wasnt wikipedia that copied those website.

Also if wikipedia says Obama is the president of the US, we can say based on wikipedia being updated by anyone it would definitely be a lie

You mean its public knowledge that he didnt go to school or its Public knowledge to you and Mr Babatunde Olowu.

Something Arthur Andersen, Delloite, GTE, and Mobil didnt know, Katsumoto and babatunde Olowu without getting to the school found out.

If you want to lay some claims try to back it up

Jalether

what did Figo do with Portugal ? George Weah with Liberia ?

Kaka is a consistent club and national team player, let Messi win something at senior team level b4 we get carried away with his club level exploits.
Where was kaka at the age of 22.

Kaka is thriving on reputation rather than actual performance on the pitch. In the last two years Messi, xavi,Iniesta,Fabregas, David Villa, Drogba

Rooney, Ronaldo et al have all outperformed the overrated kaka.
Kaka has at least 2 assist in this world cup? Tell us what Rooney has achieved in 2 world cups vs superpowers like Paraguay, Trinidad, Ecuador, Slovenia, Algeria and USA

C ororo was only able to score vs North Korea

"Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu never attended either the University of Chicago or the Chicago State University at anytime contrary to his claims. Neither did he obtain any B. Sc degree in Economics or Business Administration from any university. Indeed, he never qualified as a certified public accountant," he said.
Is this not a joke? Is American now Pluto that we cant get information from there? If they were able to get from Toronto in Canada on Salisu Buhari why wont they be able to get from the US.

How did he work for those organisation? You mean anyone can just come from US driving cabs and claim he worked for Goldman Sachs and no one would find out? This is the information age.

University of Chicago is a more prestigious school than university of illinois. There was nothing innocent about that error. Its like someone who attended Oxford-Brookes university disingenously leaving out the Brookes to make it appear they attended University of Oxford. He should have been proud of the fact that he attended university without resorting to what he did. Ivy league schools only apply to universities in the NorthEastern axis of the US. It doesn't mean that there aren't other prestigious schools outside that axis. University of Chicago is one of the most prestigious schools in the US and Tinubu lied that he attended it.
Where did he lie that he went to University of Chicago?

Why would someone who has worked for organisations some University of Chicago graduates couldnt get into lie about that.

If you went to LAUTECH and you now work with Microsoft, google, exxon etc why would you bother to lie that you went to UNILAG?

You sef think am.
Politics › Re: There Is No Government In Oyo-tinubu by dayokanu(m): 6:53pm On Jun 30, 2010
Are you stating that you are unaware of the scandals he had when he was governor? He claimed he attended university of Chicago when he in fact attended the university of Illinios. Also, I remember that Gani went to court with regards to a forged certificate from Toronto. I doubt that Gani would have wasted his time doing such if there was no basis for it. You lifted something from Tinubu's website, I doubt he would have self-incriminating information on his website.
What is the point here? Tell me how Someone who didnt go to school would have worked for Arthur Andersen, GTE, Delloite and Mobil.

Probably Gani was just on a wild goose chase as nothing ever came out of it.

Tinubu went to the United States in 1975, where he studied first at Richard J. Daley College in Chicago, Illinois and then at Chicago State University. He graduated in 1979 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting.[1]

Tinubu worked for American companies Arthur Andersen, Deloitte, Haskins, & Sells, and GTE Services Corporation.[2] After returning to Nigeria in 1983 Bola Tunubu obtained work with Mobil Oil Nigeria, becoming an executive of the company.[3]
This is a quote from his wikipedia page. Now bring us any information that buttresses your point that he forged certificates.

Do you know the recruiting process at Arthur Andersen, GTE, Delloite and Mobil? yet he conned all these people. This is sounding like BS to me

He worked for the best organisations in his field which are Arthur Andersen, and Delloite what else do you want from him regarding his academic qualification
Politics › Re: There Is No Government In Oyo-tinubu by dayokanu(m): 6:33pm On Jun 30, 2010
If your measure of his success as governor is solely on his ability to keep his state afloat without receiving the state's allocation from the Fed govt, then I can not argue with your subjective measure.
How do you assess a governor who was denied funds in a state like Lagos that has huge demands and an enlightened public not Yobe or Zamfara

I am of the opinion that he wasn't a success for a number of reasons. His symbiotic association with area boys,
Are area boys not citizens like you and I? Should he have killed them? Even with Fashola there are still hordes of Agberos in lagos.

I guess he found a way to become wealthy despite Lagos being starved of funds.
I dont know how he became wealthy as I am not his close supporter but he has yet to be found guilty of any wrong doing. He lives in Nigeria with the rest and not on the run like Ibori, Has the EFCC as much as laid an allegation

What scandal are on his education that have not been cleared?

He worked with Arthur Andersen, Delloitte, GTE, Mobil all in the US how can he possibly have duped all the world class organisations?

The brilliance of this young Nigerian showed in his ability to make the honours’ list of Richard Daley College. He subsequently transferred to the Chicago State University, Illinois, graduating with honours in 1979 and earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Accounting and Management). During his first year in Chicago State University, young Bola was given the rare privilege to partly teach other students of his Faculty remedial tutorial classes. Most of his colleagues and contemporaries at the university attributed their improved grades to his tutorial lectures.

Throughout his undergraduate years, young Bola was on the Dean’s List and was honoured with the Outstanding Student’s Award, the University Scholar’s Award and the Certificate of Merit in Accounting and Finance. He was also awarded the prestigious Sumna cum laude for scoring 3.54 out of possible 4.0 GP.

With his successful academic profile, young Bola contested and won his first political election as the President of the Accounting Society of the institution in his final year at the University.

Upon graduation with honours and several awards, Bola Tinubu cut his professional teeth at the American-based Arthur Anderson, Deloitte Haskins and Sells (now called Deloitte Haskins and Touche) and GTE Service Corporation - the largest Communication and Utility Company in the United States of America.

Meanwhile, at Deloitte Haskins and Sells, the young and professional Bola broadened his experience by participating in the auditing and management consultancy services of General Motors, First National Bank of Chicago, Procter and Gamble, International Harvester, GEC and other Fortune 500 firms.

On his return to Nigeria and with his international experience in Financial Management, young Bola joined Mobil Producing Nigeria as a Senior Auditor before he retired as the company’s Treasurer.

It was the worst defeat for the Three Lions in World Cup history, it was at the hands of the Germans (and not even a vintage selection), it was in the round of 16 - never mind the quarter-finals - and it was at the end of what was a comprehensively poor World Cup.

It was the worst defeat also because the expectation had reached an all-time high. Finally, a world class goalscorer in Rooney; finally, a world class coach in Capello; finally, a host nation with an Anglo-friendly climate; finally - and frankly - international football in a fairly average-looking state.

But finally? It ended with another whimper. What fan wouldn't have actually preferred going out on penalties now?

England played like Arsenal against Barcelona, but without even having the Gunners' admirable flair. That doesn't add up to a whole lot.

Schweinsteiger, good as he may be, was made to look like Xavi.

Oezil made the red sea of defenders part with such regularity, half the world will soon be convinced Mesut must be the Turkish variation of Moses. Every man, woman and child signalled him out as the danger man, but the England defensive unit looked like they were seeing him for the first time.

Klose may be renowned as the man who makes it happen on the big stage, but most of his World Cup goals have come against Saudi Arabia, Costa Rica and Australia. England certainly didn't prove to be any better than those sides with their showing in Bloemfentein.

Tactical Analysis

After Klose’s opener, England were not yet over-committed to the attack, but again fell victims to the Germans’ outstanding movement as the German striker was again through on goal (0:48 here). This time, much like before with the Oezil chance, Mueller thinks a step ahead of Barry. Aware of the fact that Germany effectively have four forwards marked by four defenders, Mueller passes to Sami Khedira (marked by Upson), before running directly into the void where Upson had just stood. After receiving a gorgeous back-heel from Khedira, Mueller then cuts to his left, doing just enough to pull John Terry out of the path of his eventual through ball. Klose slips behind Terry and Glen Johnson to receive the pass, but his final shot is saved. Being fair, no English defender made a mistake. Mueller and Khedira simply connected in a near-telepathic manner, and created a scoring chance.

As the cliche goes, the third time is a charm. Surely enough, Germany’s third attempt to unravel the English defence produced a goal, this time finished by Lukas Podolski (click here). On this one, observe Thomas Mueller (near side) as he sends a first-touch ball to Oezil. Immediately, Mueller turns to get a step ahead of Ashley Cole. Seeing Mueller’s run, Oezil delays his delivery to Klose (forward on the touch line), forcing Terry to step towards him. Klose had always intended to take Upson out of the play and set up a team-mate, and surely enough, he flicks ahead to Mueller who, with three members of the English defence stuck on the near side, has little difficulty finding Lukas Podolski for the goal. On this play, the only English “mistake” was Cole turning his back to Mueller for just an instant. That and perhaps James Milner not backtracking to mark Podolski.

World Cup 2010: Germany coach Joachim Loew admits his team targeted John Terry in England win

Germany's tactic of targeting John Terry came up trumps for Joachim Loew who admitted his side we in "full control" during their 4-1 annihilation of England.

Terry was beaten by a long ball for Germany's opening goal and was drawn out of position for Lukas Podolski's second.

"I have to say that today we were dominant over long periods of the game. We were successful in having Klose lure John Terry out of the defence," Loew told reporters after the match.

Tinubu lacks the moral right to accuse someone else of incompetency. When you compare Tinubu to some other clueless governors in his era, you may arrive at the conclusion that he had some success. But success, like other things, is relative. For all the resources and revenues at his disposal, Tinubu's government was a failure. As a manager, he was incompetent and corrupt.
Can you people put things into perspective pls? Tinubu and Lagos state was denied allocation for 6 yrs. Its a miracle that Tinubu was able to run a state for 6yrs without allocation coming in. Despite the fact that Lagos state has the most civil servants that are paid salaries, has the most need for infrastructural development, All those LAWMA, LASTMA, LASEPA, and ambulance serve(LASAMBUS) where did they come from despite no allocation.
