The Arsenal youth have in the same time won numerous academy and youth league trophies - again, that is not the current frame of reference hence the lack of reference to that.
Can you enlighted us what Arsenal youths have done at FIFA or UEFA grade tournaments

Who is talking about 'making up' for anything? The fact remains that we have consistently qualified for the CL - FACT.
Like a student asked why cant you be first in your class and he replies " At least I dont repeat" Losers mentality

Tell them one day at a time.

Tell them Germany would only lose on the field and not in their office cubicle.

Ze germans prefer to do the talking on the field and the English can attest to that.

The team who has won the world cup before leaving Heathrow is now on their way back without even a stainless steel spoon

Whether we would lose to Argentina or not, We would know by this time on Saturday

They probably thought we would lose to Argentina in 1990 and 2006 as well but we won.

We will boast about the greenness of our grass or the beauty of our red seats if we want to - if you hate it, stick pins and needles in your eyes.
You can even boast about the sexuality of your manager and fans. No be GAYYners?

I don't know what the German youths have achieved anyway - the Ghanaians have done as much in this WC and they are not making noise all over the place.
German Youth

2007 U17, Germany 4 England 1
2009 UEFA U17, Germany 4 England 0 (Germany wins tournament)
2009 UEFA U21: Germany 4 England with Walcott 0 (Germany wins the tournament)
2010 World cup : Germany youths 4 England veterans 0 (Germany progresses into the quarter finals)

To remain in contention with a youthful side like we have remains something noteworthy - while not sufficient or satisfactory to remain in contention, the demise of Liverpool last season only serves to reinforce the value of what we've managed to consistently do by qualifying for the CL year after year.
Surely this makes up for 5 seasons of trophylessness. You can even do 10yrs trophyless as long as you make CL every year due to the mediocrity and lack of competition in the league

I thot Bendtner was a youth of Feyenoord

Compared to our main rivals in the premiership, the overall age of the Arsenal squad is very low. That is the fact regardless of your comments. What Arsenal state is a fact - the side is younger than its contemporaries.
Your age is low and you win nothing. You can only boast about your youth if they achieve something, If Honduras takes an U17 team to the tournament and they lost all games 6-0 who wants to know about such youths?

Italy took an all Serie A side to the mundial and they have crashed out in the groups without winning a game.

England took an all EPL team to the mundial and they have crashed out without a whimper

Germany took an all Bundesliga team to the mundial and they are still going strong.

I wonder what the excuse would be Maybe people would suggest Joachim Loew is better than Cappelo and Lippi.
Culture › Re: Yoruba Traditional Marriage - What Are The Steps Involved? Pls Help: by dayokanu(m): 5:14pm On Jun 28, 2010
For the traditional wedding I assume you mean the introduction and engagement.

Its just a fun thing. They make the groom and his family prostrate and "beg" to marry the girl.

Later they would veil different girls and tell him to identify his wife among them.

Every member of the two families would be introduced with lots of singing and dancing. Different aso ebi and the 2 families try to make a good impression on the other side to showow that you are marrying from a correct family

When my cousin did his in 2008 he was so bored from all the stuff that he just told me to help him fill his bottled water bottle with beer every 10 minutes So people wont know he was shacking while they were doing the thing, after 2 hours he was so drunk that he started enjoying it. At a time he prostrated and almost couldnt stand up again.

It was funny, but dem go tax the groom family wella not in brideprice but in other things like the MC's and the women in the house

I never wan yarn my time for yarns dey come.

Do you see what they call youths? Muller 20yrs, Ozil-21yrs, Boateng-20yrs, Neuer-23yrs, Khedira-23yrs

Youths of yesteryears Lahm 26yrs, Schweinsteiger-25yrs, Podolski-24yrs, Mertersacker-24yrs.

Thats 9 out of 11 players.

Not forgetting Aogo, Kroos, Marin, Badstuber all under 22yrs All play in the Bundesliga for clubsides who dont scream about their phantom youth policies.

Compare that to what you have at Arsenal and see the sham wenGAY is running at the Emirates
Sports › Re: Germany comprehensively whoops England (Finals score 4-1) by dayokanu(m): 4:45pm On Jun 28, 2010
England has exited the football World Cup and once again failed to live up to expectations. But why do the English fool themselves, again and again, into believing they can win, and might they actually enjoy it?

According to Wikipedia, hysteria is "a state of mind of unmanageable fear or emotional excesses. The fear is often caused by multiple events in one's past that involved some sort of severe conflict."

Sound familiar?

After a humiliating 4-1 defeat to Germany, England has once again entered an unofficial period of national mourning. It's something the country goes through after every World Cup or European Championship exit - from euphoric anticipation to shock and despair in the space of 90 minutes.

only 5 players from the German team played in Euro 2008 final so England to a side that is majorly Germany U-21. Pitiful!
Neuer, Boateng, Khedira Ozil all played the UEFA U21 last year, Muller is not even old enough to play U21 as of last yr
Sports › Re: Germany comprehensively whoops England (Finals score 4-1) by dayokanu(m): 1:18pm On Jun 28, 2010
Who says if Lamps goal had been allowed that England would ot have been buoyed to go on and win the game. The game could've gone either way if scores had been 2-2(even if I'd still have preferred the Germans to go through as they look a stronger team),the disallowed goal has cast a HUGE SHADOW on their  "victory"
Be less myopic and hypocritical in your posts please.
Didnt the two teams start at 0-0? How come one was leading 2-0 by 30 mins? The same magic that made them lead 2-0 after 30mins made them lose 4-1.

Who is the hypocrite? A Nation who won their only world cup by a linesman mistake but didnt return the trophy for 44 yrs, when the same decision went against them, they are shouting blue murder.

KARMA is a BIA-TCH.

this German team have not been tested yet, the only real test they faced was Ghana and they almost failed, and again, how many of this german team members succeeded in europe? Bayern munich had foreign players also as the back bone of the team, my point is this german have not really been tested.
Senseless post. Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Muller and Klose played the champions league final, Mesut Ozil played the UEFA cup final last year, Boateng played UEFA cu semi final this year, Khedira was part of the Stuttgart team that lost to Barcelona in the CL second round, Neuer was acclaimed for his heroics in the CL 3 seasons ago

So how do you measure their success. Most of them played in the Euro cup finals 2 yrs ago

next is Argentina on the 3rd of july and thats when we will truly see if that German team is as good as they seem
The German team is not the best in the tournament but England is one of the worst, on the same level with Australia

Most of them were born in Germany which makes them German by birth.

Its like saying Obama is Kenyan, Ledley King, Ashley Cole, Jermaine Defoe, Heskey and other black players are carribean, Oguchi Onyewu and Maurice Edu are Nigerian, Zidane is Algerian, Makelele is Congolese, Evra and Vieira are Senegalese, Zlatan is Bosnian.

Thats part of the game, If you dont know, England won the only World cup courtesy of a goal that wasnt. The ball didnt cross the line but was given as a goal.

Remove that one goal and Germany still wins 4-2 if that pleases you

But normally the test for Naija shouldnt be Seychelles or Sao Tomo but Cameroun and Ghana

Same scenario, Ihave always said its only in England that people see Germany as a rival, Germans cant even see them, They see the Dutch more as rivals because the peak of German footie coincided with the peak of Dutch footie and remember the Voller vs Rijkard spit beef

Lampard would collect Khediras shirt easy.
Do you think Deflected shots are part of the German game strategy?

Terry would collect Mertesackers shirt easy.
If you say Terry would collect Mertersackers wife, I would have agreed but his trikot? Never. Terry cant play in any decent Bundesliga side. Friedrich you saw today plays for relegated Hertha Berlin. Muller you saw today is in his first pro season

Ozil, Khedira, Muller, Boateng, Neuer all have less than 15 caps

As for Gerrard. . . .

U got the rub of the green.
Was that where The English keeper got his name? Robert Green? why not Rub of black

2-2 woulda changed the complexion of the game.
The onus wouldn't have fallen on England to attack any longer - they woulda stayed back and wait for your attack - then do you on a counter
The 2 teams started at 0-0 by 30minutes it was 2-0 only James prevented it being 4-0 at that point with point blank saves off Ozil and Klose.

At every point in the game, The 3 rats were no match for the Mannschaft
Sports › Re: Germany comprehensively whoops England (Finals score 4-1) by dayokanu(m): 1:27am On Jun 28, 2010
Wenger is a failure.

No need mentioning him here. You see real youths like Muller, khedira, ozil, Boateng etc and he is carrying Wankott, Gibbs, Wheelchair, Ramsey, Bendtner around, the same way with Lupoli, Aliadiere, Owusu-Abeyie, Hoyte, Djourou and Senderos

You where not talking this slick a few days back so no dey form swagga for here!! A win is a win! Beat whoever is put ahead of you is the name of the game i can remember in France 98 and USA 94 when the Mannschaft got drawn with Croatia and Bulgaria in the quarters and i was busy bussin nuts pondering who they would face in the semis, well we all know what happened. I am also sure the Italians and Spaniards where rejoicing in 02 when they got paired with Korea! Its too late to fear any team now if you want to win this cup and it would also not be wise to take any team that got this far for granted
You should know germany better than this. We always have problems with team from eastern Europe

Bulgaria-1994, Croatia-1998, Poland- 2006, Latvia-2004, Croatia-Euro 2008, Serbia-2010

England? Even if you wake those German boys right now they would still do it.

When Khedira was interviewed before the game, he said at youth level they have always beaten Engerland so this one wont be any different

England is England, GERMANY is GERMANY

Who takes Pele seriously?

Check the below assertions by Pele

10) China 2002

Pele Prediction: China will qualify for the next round from their 2002 World Cup group.

Outcome: China finish bottom of Group C with no wins, no draws, no points, no goals, as well as -9 in their goal-difference column.

9) Spain 1998

Pele Prediction: Spain are favourites for the 1998 World Cup in France.

Outcome: Spain humiliatingly dumped out in the first round after losing to Nigeria, and drawing with Paraguay.

Raul & Spain - Kings Of France '98?

cool Colombia To Live American Dream

Pele Prediction: Colombia will win the 1994 World Cup in the USA.

Outcome: Both countries eliminated in the first round, France without even scoring a goal.

6) Escape To Victory

Pele Prediction: During the famous film starring Sylvester Stallone and Michael Caine, Allies star Pele is brutally fouled in the first half by the Nazi opponents. The injured Brazilian claims there is no way he can continue and is carried off. The Allies are 4-0 down, and a recovery is deemed impossible.

Outcome: Pele returns in the second half and inspires his team to an improbable comeback, even scoring a stunning bicycle kick. Even in fiction, Pele's predictions go wrong.

5) Ronaldo Is Finished

Pele Prediction: Ronaldo will never play football again, and his career is over, following a serious injury for Milan in February 2008.

Ronald-over

4) Nii Lamptey – ‘The New Pele’

Pele Prediction: After starring in the 1991 Under-17 World Cup, which also featured Alessandro Del Piero, Pele proclaims Ghana youngster Lamptey as his successor, ‘The New Pele’.
