John Terry did nothing wrong - any coach will tell you that if a fullback leaves a hole, the centre back must fill it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Though belated

Bayern Munich attacker Ivica Olic has been rewarded for his fine form in 2009 by being voted Croatian Footballer of the Year in an election organised by Croatian newspaper Vecernji List.

The energetic attacker finished ahead of players such as Shakhtar Donetsk's Darijo Srna and Tottenham pair Luka Modric and Niko Kranjcar in the poll.

@Dayokanu
You are still yet to tell me the present players in this era as good as the Edberg's Becker's and Agassi's

I am also awaiting your explanation as to why Fedex was crying like a biatch when Rafa Nadal double penetrated him without prophylactics?

Your comparison of Nikolai Davidenko to Yevgeny Kafelnikov is not only enough to make me question your knowledge of tennis but your sanity as well! Davidenko ko Oleg Salenko ni. Mschewwww

Mr 'I just started watching tennis when Federer overtook Sampras' what do you want to tell me about tennis? From the Agassi's, Edberg, Courier, Becker, Stich days to the supreme rivalry between Monica Seles and ma childhood crush Steffi Graf to Navratilova in her twilight to Jenny Capriati, Davenport, Maria Sabbatini, Arantxa Sanchez Vicario e.t.c i don tey for this tennis thing pass Schnapp and Colecovision
Nadal is on the same level with both Agassi and Edberg.

All these insinuation go beyond what you read on the Internet. Of all Russian Tennis players Safin was the best and Kafelnikov was nowhere near the top.

Davidenko is better than Kafelnikov, you can take that to the bank anyday

DK, Fabregas to Barcelona is now like a scratched record. Anyway, if they bring anything above 60 million we can consider. Cesc will leave when he comes to a decision that it is time and it works out fine for all concerned.
What happened to the 16 for Henry, the 30million for Adebayor Did it bring trophies? Sell Fabregas for 60milla wont still bring anything to the Emirate.

Sell Fab promote wheelchair to first team

The future of Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas is under the microscope again after the midfielder gave a radio interview highlighting his love for Barcelona.

Fabregas: An in-demand player

Fabregas has been linked with a €50 million move to the Nou Camp in the summer and has always maintained that he would love to play for the club again in the future, having been a part of the academy before his move to London.

"I've never hidden that one day I will return to Barcelona,'' he told Catalunya Ràdio. ''Since I was nine months old, my grandfather and I never stopped going to the stadium and have always worn Blaugrana colours. For one reason or another I had to leave, but you never know what can happen."

The midfielder was cagey over a potential move after the World Cup, as he said: "I have not been called by anyone. Neither me or my agent. I can only speak from what I know and answer what I know."

However, he spoke of his love for the city of Barcelona and maintained that, once his career is over, he will settle back in Catalonia.

"Nobody has to tell me that Barcelona is the best city in the world to live and the quality of life that is there. I know perfectly. I don't like the weather of London, but as a city it is spectacular. But when I retire I will live in Barcelona.''

Adebayor can never be right and Arshavin can never be wrong.

Wenger resigned to fate 4years ago and at best,he'll always be in the top four, forget about Arsenal winning any trophy ever again as long as Wenger is still the manager.
And what do the fans and Management think? Have they also conceded to a lifetime of trophylessness?

Ronaldo was domesticated by Lahm in WC 2006,
Caged by Arne Friedrich in Euro 2008.

Still dont know how Hargreaves Singlehandedly won Moscow for United. The rep should go largely to guys like Terry, Ronaldo, and the defensive pair, Also to Drogba for slapping Vida
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread! We Are The Red Devils! by dayokanu(m): 9:47pm On Feb 04, 2010
Without Hargreaves, we wouldn't have won the CL.
The United team in Moscow woulda been lop-sided and Ronaldo woulda been forced to play on the right to face his nemesis(Ashley Cole).
Hargo made it possible for Ronaldo to play against the weakest link in the Chelsea defence(Essien).

Remember Hargo also despatched his penalty shoot-out nicely when CR7(WPOTY-elect) missed his own.
Ashley Cole is Ronaldos nemesis? since when? I remember young CR7 sendin him on crutches

He single-handedly won UCL for Man Utd in 2007/8.
Knowing that winning the title is about £30 million + the league title he won for us(£50 milla). . . . .
I think United made a massive profit in the acquisition of Hargo.
Singlehandedly How?

The same Sauron would say CR7 siglehandedly, Vidic siglehandedly, VDS singlehandedly, Rooney singlehandedly.

Now, How many people singlehandely won The CL trophy

Chelsea's transfer ban has been lifted by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) and the club have been cleared of any wrongdoing regarding the transfer of teenage Frenchman Gael Kakuta from Ligue 1 club Lens in July 2007.

• Chelsea to appeal FIFA transfer ban to 2011

Gael Kakuta has made four appearances for Chelsea this season

All sanctions placed upon the Premier League club and the player have been cancelled. Chelsea initially faced a banning order from two consecutive transfer windows. The ban had been suspended in the January transfer just gone but the Blues did not make use of what may have been their last chance for 12 months to strengthen, perhaps a result of their confidence in overturning a ban put in place last September

Sir Alex Ferguson, who had said in September that he was nearing a return, said this week that he hoped Hargreaves would be fit in time to face AC Milan this month, but it appears his recovery has since suffered another setback after UEFA confirmed United have requested that Ritchie De Laet be introduced into their squad in Hargreaves' place.

Hargreaves moved to Old Trafford from Bayern Munich for £19 million in May 2007.
Maga don payyyy shout Halleluyahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Who can convert 19million GBP to USD so I can know how much maga pay

This is one of the biggest scam in football history

Manchester United have removed midfielder Owen Hargreaves from their squad for the Champions League knockout stages.

Hargreaves has suffered a fresh setback

• Fergie hopes for swift Hargreaves return

Hargreaves has not featured for United since September 2008 due to a long-standing problem with his knees. He has undergone rehabilitation work and has recently returned to light training.

If you insist they are duds then drop and gimme 4 players now that are as good as Edberg, Agassi & Becker

1) That shows unpredictability and the competitiveness of that era! Not these chumps that would lose to Federer even if he crip-walked on a landmine and lost a limb. Fed is very beatable! Nadal brought out the biatch in him and Del Potro also exhausted a can of whoopass on his derrierre
The unpredictability that makes a wildcard to win? That sounds more like mediocrity on the part of contenders.
This is not female Tennis haba

2) This also shows unpredictability. Anybody could beat anybody at anytime
This is more like a nobody beating everybody. Shame on the big players of the time.

3) Why have Lleyton Hewitt & Andy Roddick not won on other surfaces? FLUKE! Especially when you factor they where both hometown faves
Because they faced a greater power the force of a moving train. Roger Federer Express

4) Dayokanu dey compare Davidenko to Kafelnikov (one of the best servers in the game ever!) Its not hard to spot those that just started watching tennis after Federer overtook Sampras and that statement just gave you away! If you said this in the medieval times the Aztec priests would have offered you to the gods they worshipped in Volcanos
See your mouth like rotten pawpaw. I almost missed my WAEC exam watching Richard Kraijcek take apart Samprass and co

I personally think its an insult to compare those guys to the over rated average Joes in the Federer era. I am offended on their behalf
Who are the great guys? The Philipousis, Richard Kraijcek, or Ivanisevic
