This is what happens when you lose defensive discipline - why on earth was Nasri the last player back chasing Pienaar and not one of the CBs?

Cos they were busy playing CF in the box.
When you have a corner or dead ball, CB's go upfront to attack and the shorter guys who dont offer much aerially stay behind. Its a simple rule

Only that Nasri was a ninny and nincompoop

You all should learn from the wisdom of the DFB to give Bundesliga clubs a winter break or whats the use of playing through the season and have all games postponed?

Is that supposed to make up for the fact that he hasn't kicked a football in 1 whole season + 1/2 as jara. . . . it surely must be in the guinness record books for all-time longest goal drought
A player that scored 18 goals just last season according to Ruudie? Lay off drugs. Then we can assume Berbatov hasnt been existing.

Dayo you're lying ! !
Are you trying to tell us Luca toni finished top goal scorer in two of Europe's top leagues in two consecutive seasons - 2006 and 2007 ?
Lucatoni was highest goal scorer in the Serie A in 2005/2006 and highest goal scorer in the Bundesliga in 2007/2008

Tell us about Berbasuck

Who the hell hypes Toni
Luca Toni is a worthless striker.
I would tell Mr Bluediva what we did last night grin grin grin grin grin grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Bayern Munich Fans by dayokanu(op): 8:01am On Jan 07, 2010
Luca Toni scored 39 goals in his first season, he scored 18 goals in the second season.

Compare that to Berbatov who is an abysmal failure

For the past 5 season Toni has continuously outscored Berbasulk

Working for which money?

As Berbatov ambled to the penalty spot, he showed little emotion as he rarely does. He picked up the ball and re-spotted it. But what he did next was in essence the conundrum that is Berbatov and the problem that now Ferguson has to solve. It wasn't a run up to the ball, but more a gentle stroll. There was no stutter, no deception. It's hard to say if he tapped or pushed the ball, but there is no doubt it was not hit hard. Howard must have been surprised as he saved with his legs; surprised at how long it took the ball to reach him. It personified the main criticism of Berbatov—his lack of conviction.

Quote
With the second FA Cup semi-final failing to hit the heights, attention has once again turned to the penalty shoot-out.

After a season which has split many fans and pundits, Dimitar Berbatov took a particularly woeful penalty when he stepped up for Manchester United’s first spot kick yesterday after Tim Cahill had blazed over.

Speaking on ITV, Joe Royle described the Bulgarian’s effort as “the worst penalty I have ever seen by an international footballer.”

(Analysis from ITV on the game and Royle’s verdict on the Berbatov penalty can be seen here.)

All dat na jus ceremonial yarns. . . . . . even players that go on hunger strikes dmanding for a transfer will be given send-offs by the club.

Uli is just glad to see Luca's back because of bayern's finances - that guy's gulped over 20m euros in dis 1/2 season without kicking a football.
Aside from the 30m you paid on Berbasulk can you tell me the amount he has earned in Man Utd this season for strolling aroung the field?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Bayern Munich Fans by dayokanu(op): 3:18pm On Jan 04, 2010
Ulli Hoeness have a send forth for Luca Toni and we departed on a good note.

Unlike when some clubs part with Hleb, Flamini, Adebayor and Jaap Stam

The FC Bayern board wishes to thank Luca Toni for his contribution to the club’s success during his spell in Munich, particularly the league and cup double in 2008, and wishes him all the best and much success for his time with AS Roma, and a role at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa
