I think the English youth system isn't creating players like they used to.because in large part,there is a large inux of ferign players to the ePL .no team seems ready to sacrifice and build a squad from their youth system like united did in 95/96.

The problem with EPL is the lack of English coaches in top clubs. The ones at the moment dont have the interest of the country at heart. Wenger would be more delighted to develop French talents, Fergie scot talents and Benitez Spanish speaking , No one cares about the English youth

On the contrary I think the loan move is a good thing for Kroos.

If he had stayed back at Bayern he would have been restricted to substitute appearances and possibly played in wrong position thereby mismanaging his talent.

Sending him to a team(Leverkusen or Bremen) with other youngsters would help him to build his confidence compared to at Bayern where he would be subbed if he makes 2 wrong passes thereby denting his confidence.
