And when you dont stand for anything, you fall for everything

Kudos to ACN who was able to make inroads into places like Benue, Anambra when APGA cant even consolidate Anambra state

Gbawe: What does that confirm if not that you O-fools are O-wimps? When 20 of you hijacked this thread for many pages attacking me, did anyone see me on the complain thread? look at how you O-haters and O-disgraced O-b.i.tches all now run to the complaint thread confirming , beyond doubt, that you are all little girls?

Wesley80, I am very o-ashamed of you and your fellow O-haters. You , and your gang , gave it your best and no one saw me anywhere near the complain thread. Now one single individual has flipped the table on all of you and you O-b.itches all go running to the mods.

Simply O-disgraceful. I hope most of you don't have sons because all you will show them is weakness and how to run for cover, instead of standing toe-to-toe, against others.
What else do you expect from generation of cowrds

ALways the first to moan to mods

ronkebp: That is to show you the type of people Nigeria is breeding, they go to other peoples countrys and serve them in every posiible way and go back home to rubbish-their own homes, their lands. You know the type of image Nigeria has in the western countries now, i don't need to bore you with the story anymore, the drug-traffickers, and the fraudtsters, is it the government that is helping them to misbehave?. I know what their arguement will center on, no good roads, no job, no money, but that arguement is not going to save them, the day they are caught.
If you hear the argument of some nigerians you would wonder how the country would ever develop.

Some would complain about paying taxes abroad while driving on smooth well lit and policed roads, They would come to Naija where they don't pay taxes and still expect the same amenities in the countries that pay taxes.

Most of these people would smuggle their pregnant wives abroad to give birth and enjoy the benefits of taxes contributed by the so called "mumu" who pay taxes abroad
Family › Re: Relocating To Nigeria : What Budget? by dayokanu(m): 8:36pm On May 11, 2012
ronkebp: Why can't we have people that will stand out?, "why join them if we cannot beat them"?, but laying curses on that Nation without any physical help from even the citizens is paralyzing that country even more. We all hope for a better future in that country but it won't be attainable with derorgatory remarks.

There are laws that are coming up now, i heard that you cannot make more than 500,000.00 naira deposits or withdrawals now from banks, and it has been enforced, gradually things will take shape. There will soon be traffic ordeliness, unnecessary hooliganism will soon be tantamont to living in cells, unnecessary noise making will reduce, but it will take awhile to accomplish that, and only if we have people that are willing to make it happen. The government cannot do it all, we all have our own individual contributions that will help the country grow in a more positive way.
The same people who are educated , exposed and well travelled actually think you are infringing on their "FREEDOM" if you tell them not to blast music at night in residential area, tell them not flog their children mercilessly and maim them, not build houses anywhere they so desire you would see that the few who think otherwise are in the minority
Family › Re: Relocating To Nigeria : What Budget? by dayokanu(m): 8:08pm On May 11, 2012
ronkebp: And do you think that those people that have "babanrigad" themselves in 'aso-rock' will remain there forever? Every youth now is looking for ways to enrich themselves, we keep pointing at the leaders, and we are no-different from them, Let them give you an opportunity too, it will be the same story. I think we all should start from our communities, whatever change we can effect,no matter how little it will go a long way.
Ronke

Why i tend to agree that there is no way forward is because the youths are no better.

The same youths even those that have travelled far and wide think its some sort of freedom to blast music in residential neighbourhoods, think its freedom for anyone to live rich without his source of income being questioned, The same youths who believe they should be allowed the freedom to build houses without consideration for others, You can block drainage and pollute the environment as long as it favours your house.

Its infriginging of freedom to have laws that tell you its insane to shyyttt in public places like they do at Obalende on the main road

Like I said most ppl complain because they are not the ones oppresing people, The youths if given the same opportunity would do the same and worse So the vicious cycle continues. To be sincere It seemed no way forward except you find ways of enriching yourself and oppress the rest

ronkebp: Even if i don't believe in all what you have written, what is the way forwardhuh? we as citizens of that country, what can we do to help out? There is no point in arguing about what is and what is not!!! what can we do?
Which of them dont you agree with.

You can reference the list of "freedoms" posted by Lastpage in the previous page
Family › Re: Relocating To Nigeria : What Budget? by dayokanu(m): 7:20pm On May 11, 2012
ROnke,

Do you too believe in the freedom to blast music in residential neighbourhood

Freedom to treat children the way parents want

Freedom to carry as much money as possible around

Freedom to drive a car and not be questioned about your income?

Freedom to build a house without consideration for environment and neighbours

Sagamite: If something is natural and normal, you can't ban it and it shouldn't face morality rules. That is fundamental human rights.

If something is natural but abnormal, it is open to societal morality rules. Even though it is arguably human rights but might not be.

If something is unnatural but normal, it is open to societal morality rules. It is not human rights.

If something is unnatural and abnormal, it potentially should open the door to a psychiatrist's office. It is not human rights.

Morality rules are useful tools societies employ to make their society sane.

It is not rocket science, just simply making sense.
Mr Sagamuu.

What is normal and natural still remains a function of the society you live in

Giving birth to twins was considered an abnormal and unnatural occurence not too long ago.

marrying your family memeber is considered normal in some cultures and family. Even in the bible people married their own close family.

How can anyone take pride in disorderliness and call it freedom

Building your house without consideration to the environment or neighbours isnt freedom

Blasting music in a residential area without consideration for neighbours which might include infants or elderly is not freedom.

The freedom to train the child the way you like has led to several cases of abuse. I wonder how someone can claim that as freedom. many parents have used that "freedom" to maim their own children, Go to youtube and check child witches of Nigeria and see how the freedom to train your children the way you want has made people nail their children in the head or burnt their hands and bodies because no one would stop them.

Carrying as much money as you want is the main reason we are crying o corrupt leaders in Nigeria, What does it take a LG chairman to go into the coffers and carry as much as he wants. We complain of corrupt officials yet laud the same practices.

The idea that "She is your daughter your own blood is what has made several girls be abused by their own fathers and even get pregnant. A simple search on Nl would show you how prevalent this is. Due to the freedom you want.

The freedom to drive any car without being questioned about your income is what encourage thieves and corruption in Nigeria. When a 18yr old with no known skill or means of livelihood can drive a range rover without being questioned . Yet this is what we tag FREEDOM.

Actually this mentality is why Nigeria might not get better, Imagine what the supposed elites who have travelled far and wide tag as freedom?

Most of us that complain about our leaders actually complain because we dont have the opportunity to perpetuate the same thing we accuse the leaders of.

If someone uses his loud music to disturb your grandma or your newborn you complain, But you wont hesitate to do the same thing and call it FREEDOM

Nigeria we hail thee!!!

I have stayed in the west for over 3years I go out at night regularly, I have never been robbed before anywhere

but while in Nigeria hardly does a week pass without a colleague being robbed in traffic either on Osborne road or Apongbon

Actually I dont leave work till 10pm so I can speed pass Osborne without being robbed.

Yet Osborne is supposed to be the highbrow area of Lagos.

Imagine what now happens in Abule Egba, Egbeda Shitta and other middle class areas?

Wearing a suit is an open invitation to robbers

crime in Lagos cant be compared to anywhere in the west

The knowledge that there is a law enforcement which does their job is even enough deterrent to people compared to what we have in Naija

Sagamite: Thank you.

You proved my point. If you keep it private, it would be rare for anyone to disturb you in Nigeria.

So let them keep it private, we are not interested in Gay Pride day. That does not give anyone the right to attack him though, but that was the reason he was unusually attacked.

He definitely wasnt having sex publicly, Most times he was just walking or doing his thing like every student and was randomly attacked

ramalot: To be quite frank, it doesn't. In all the cases above, excluding necrophilia, if both adult parties choose to engage in such, then good for them. A corpse cannot consent, so that is a different issue.
And as long as it isnt done in the public.

If heterosexual sexx is done in the public glare its also an offence.

Sagamite: Then people should be arrested for assault! There are laws in place to protect against such already.

I am sure Stepany Adaralegbe was not the only gay person in the school. Not even comprising 10% of the gays in the school. So there must have been something that made him susceptible to attacks.
.
He was the only one who was open about his orientation and he got beaten for it.

So has the mantra and your repeated question that who has been attacked for being GAYY in Nigeria been answered?
