Reaction to Real Madrid v Bayern

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge: “We're incredibly happy and incredibly proud. The team deserves huge credit because it's an unbelievable achievement. That was football at its very best, at the highest level. All in all, it was the most intense and emotional-laden match I've witnessed in my career, and that's almost 40 years."

Uli Hoeneß: “When Lahm missed, I thought I was going to die. It's turned out to be a fantastic season after all. I've never seen so many clear-cut chances in a semi-final before, unbelievable. This was the game to end all games. Real against Bayern, that's obviously a highlight you'll only experience a couple of times in your life."
VIDEOS

Jupp Heynckes: “That was a magical night. We were in real trouble in the first 15 minutes, but after that we played outstanding football for long periods. I'm specially delighted for my players and the club management."

Bastian Schweinsteiger: “We're all dead, but overjoyed. Ever since it was announced that the final would be in Munich, with all had only one target: to get there! Now we have one more match at home, and we want to win it. The only thing going through my head was putting the ball in the net."

Manuel Neuer: “We've all worked very hard for this. In both games, we were on a par with them at the very least, and at the end of the day, we deserved to win. I was determined to save those penalties, although obviously luck plays its part. It's great we have two finals ahead of us."

Mario Gomez: “It was a dream which has become reality. I'm speechless, I'm overwhelmed. In this atmosphere and in this situation, there’s nothing better than getting through in a penalty shootout."

Sami Khedira (Real Madrid): “Here on our home ground we've come close, but at the end of the day we've been unlucky in the penalty shootout. We're all gutted. You don't get the chance of making the final everyday. This will take some getting over."

mbulela: Bayern will beat Chelsea easily.
Chelsea I would say have the better players on the night. The only advantage bayern have is the Home field adv

Look at this Chelsea and tell me they cant hurt bayern who lost 3 defenders

------------------Cech

-Bosingwa--Cahill---Luiz---Cole

-----------Essien----Mikel

---Sturridge---------Lampard

---------------Mata

---------------Drogba

On the bench they have Malouda, Torres, Kalou.

If Bayern manage to get out 11 players out that day the bench would be Pranjic, Contento and Usami
@dk u neva ans my query
2 the match i noticed dat ronaldo(faded afta his 2 goalz) was SO SO SO SCARED OF ALABA (evun wit a card) & LAHM OH (since WC 2002 remindz mi of LIZARZU,onli diff is lahm can play both full backz) alwayz bumpin forward & neva bothered defendin against him knowin GUSTAVO (D BEST DM 4 mi in dis UCL) was dere.....'m luvin dis bayern squad.u wld sumtimz tink dey were playin @ home yestanite & dat is nut d #euer (SO MUCH IMPROVEMENT) i knew last seasun.

say wat u want but m£$$ì is STI D BEST;he has no RIVAL yet
David Olatokunbo Alaba easily pocketed all of Madrids attackers all game despite getting a fraudulent penalty and an offside goal

Why would that useless Kassai book Alaba for that penalty?

Well Real madrid got served well despite all the biased calls in their favour

Pepe's handball also comes to mind

Because Messi choked on his penalty now excused Ronaldo?

He choked simple. The first penalty taker set the tone for others. If he misses then the pressure is on his teammates and Crynaldo missed

Something a 19yr old Alaba did impeccably.

The same way Ronaldo missed in the 2008 final in Moscow

Ibime: Three years ago when Kroos was on loan to Leverkusen, Dayo recommended getting rid of Kroos because of the emergence of Muller.

The difference is clear now.

On another note. . .

So Tymoschuk plays centre-back now? How about the giant Belgian clown?
Kroos is really one of the high point of this season with David Olatokunbo Alaba

Muller and kroos are 2 diff. Kroos is a midfielder, Muller plays as a support striker

Belgian Giant Van Buyten is injured and I hope he stays injured

Tymoschuk and Gustavo played Central Defence vs Bremen last weekend

--------------Neuer
-Rafinha---Boateng--Tymo---Lahm

-------Schweini---Kroos

--Robben------Muller---Ribery

----------Gomez

Ibime: ^^^Ronaldo choked when he scored 2 goals?

You guys mehn!

I dont see you applying same standards to Messi.

If Ronaldo choked today, then Messi pissed himself yesterday.
Opening penalty in a shootout sets the tone and out CRYNALDO choked just like in Moscow

Messi too choked yesterday, How does that now affect Ronaldo pissing on himself in a CL semi
