Wasnt it the same Delta State who came out and said it was a private matter? Just assume you were the Judge, The AGF said Ibori didnt steal money, Delta state said it was a private issue and the Governor sent an Affidavit that money no lost. The prosecutors came to court and told you their evidence was from a Pastor who saw vision of Ibori stealing Wetin you wan do to convict am? |
I am not sure if the judge can be held solely responsible A judge can only adjudicate based on what the prosecution brings before him, if the prosecutors come forward and were stammering and saying rubbish, What do you expect the judge to do? In Iboris case, The powers were interested from the level of the presidency (Yar Adua) AGF (Aodonkaa) and Delta governor (Uduaghan) All they need is for the prosecutors to present a useless case and ANY judge in the world would throw it out Look at the case of Akingbola Erastus that was just freed, The Judge was soo angry that the prosecutors were unserious with the case and he freed Erastus. So you cant blame the Judge In the UK, The prosecutors took their jobs seriously and the Nigerian govt were not able to interfere |
Na so dem dey do for Delta |
mkmyers45: Darazo in 04 and Toro in 12 are a big diffrence...That was why i was very specific in my response. My response was as a result of my experience in Darazo circa 2004, I dont know what happens in Toro in 2012 and I didnt claim i do. |
The moment prick enter her life, Nothing would remain the same. |
edoyad: So development to you is solely based the amount of hours a state Capital has water running eh? According to you Bauchi is better placed developmentally than Oyo state.I was very specific in my response. I mentioned specifically water supply and I mentioned the time frame. And that has nothing to do with overall development |
See scope, Ibo women and sense. As we speak now, Ifyalways dey "busy" with harakiri, JK don use style collect like 5 e-boyfriends for herself sharp sharp while all those Yorubas like Busybody, ronke and chaircover dey dull demselves Very soon now JK and all these guys like Gaggi, reinedamsey , decency etc would be on IM having hot steamy kpekusing and born pikin while the single girls are on romance section fighting 190 and Mr Cork Jenny I salute you ooo |
mkmyers45: YOU ARE WRONG!I lived in Bauchi for a year around 2004. and not in the state capital, I was in Darazo, and I can tell you in most cases water runs daily at a specific time of the day atimes for as long as 10hrs |
Bayern Munich have remained tight-lipped over a reported fight between Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben. An argument is said to have taken place during Bayern's 2-1 victory at home to Real Madrid in the teams' Champions League semi-final first leg on Tuesday, with Robben apparently instructing Ribery to let Toni Kroos take a free-kick in first-half injury time. The row then reportedly escalated, with Sport Bild claiming Ribery and Robben became involved in a verbal row at half-time before the former aimed a punch at the latter. Robben afterwards appeared to have bruising under his eye. Media director Markus Horwick said: "Whatever happens in the dressing room stays in the dressing room. We will not be adding any further comment." Sport Bild reports that a clear-the-air meeting was held on Wednesday. Ribery is said to have apologised and accepted a fine for his actions. |
Ironically, Bauchi is one of the most developed state in nigeria. Go figure! 24/7 water supply(even state like rivers can't boast of any pipe network), working state owned hospitals(one of the best in the country), good schools(model schools is one best in the country), the best road network nationwide(with exception of abuja). . And so on.
As at 2005. Bauchi still has one of the best water supply scheme, even way better than my home state of Oyo sef |
Odunnu: How come i'm just seeing this thread? Jarus & OAM4J, you aint doing your jobs and i'm very angry with this! When are you going to put your picture back on your profile Amaria |
jennykadry: Excuse me sir, testosterone and estrogen are too different hormones so yes, I can fight in an empty room especially when the hormones kick inI would never disrespect any self respecting wife of mine, But if you don't respect yourself, I wont hesitate to put you in your place(Which excludes physical beating) One sensitive area to me is no wife of mine should ever insult either directly or indirectly my mother Shikena. If this is adhered to, half the issue is solved. You can abuse me for 1yr e no dey pain me, I go just dey laff you. |
9lifes: This is BS.MEN pls, if your rules cannot prevail and protect your house and wife, pls don't marry.Your wife is priority NO 1.No body comes to my house to do nonsense, not even my sweetest mother,god..children getting married everyday.Just pray you don't meet a quarrelsome wife, who thinks your mother is eating too much, taking too much meat, making noise on the phone, singing in the shower, making noise with her footsteps Actually some wifes pray the mother in law dies before they get married, The only thing I can tell them is I hope your daughter in law prays for your death before your son gets married too |
^^ How do you know the husband hasnt tried multiple times to broker peace but all the wife wants to talk about is the meat in pot, the "they dont greet me", "Took food without my permission". Maybe she has even given the husband the typical women yarn "Choose between me and your family". Fact is if you dont push your case with maturity and sensibly the innocent becomes guilty |
jennykadry: It's a man's world remember? That's why "husbands" almost never have issues with in lawsIts simply the way men are made, They dont take petty things to heart, Actually any guy that does that ppl would quickly scold him that "When you are not a woman". On this family section alone where you have majority women posters there are some that already pick fights on faceless posters everytime and have been keeping beef for 2-3yrs Atimes I read posts and I think to myself its like these women have fights from real life not knowing its just on the web they started the fight. I was talking to one of my NL wives sometime back and she told me the number of ppl on the forum that dont like her, the numbers that hate her, the posters that wish her evil, even the ones that want to snatch her real life husband etc. I was like on this same internet? Go to Sport section which is majority men and see as most of them yab themselves and are still friends next minute. I told someone today that most women can start a fight in an empty room |
jennykadry: DAYOOOOOOOOOO. Egbe enu'e dake Jo.At that point it had already become a power struggle between the women. If the wife wanted war, why should the sisters want peace? You expect someone you tongue lashed over food and meat to come to your aid. If it was you that your brothers wife insulted over food, you would still smile and go making peace. I am sure JK would be threatening fire and brimstone on any wife who dares insult her over rice and meat. Not even something serious The wife was expecting the husband to come to her defence too, So if the husband had beaten up his sisters she would have been strutting around like she struck gold Same thing the sisters did when the shoes was on the other foot |
^^ The brother taking the husbands car is not in anyway similar to pot of soup . Maybe you can compare that to SIL going to wifes wardrobe to take her jewelries I have stated it that I don't condone the physical abuse. Op maybe never had respect for the husband if she feels its within her right to insult his immediate family with trivial issues like food Let her bring her brother I am certain the husband would get along because men hardly have issues with one another You would be shocked that the BIL and the husband would become beer buddies. Inlaws living with you are not things cast in stone and some things happen which just have to be tolerated One of your inlaw from Nigeria suddenly gets admitted into a school in your city and his parents cant afford hostel, So you kick him out after 3 weeks? Hopefully you nor your own children would never have any reason to need peoples help or live with ppl in your lives. I have lived with ppl before in the same exact scenario I mentioned up there and I knw and understand how it works. Fact is, Living with one another is one of the unwritten social support Africans give one another that makes survival easier for them. Your dad was probably able to get an education because one uncle somewhere housed him for years? It happened with both my parents as they had to live with ppl at some point in their educational pursuit, Without these people they probably wont be where they are today. How many Africans of age 40 can say they have never lived with anyone(family, family-friends, neighbours etc) at anytime in their lives DOES ANYONE WONDER WHY ITS ONLY WIFES WHO ALWAYS HAVE PROBLEMS WITH INLAWS AND RARELY HUSBANDS? |
davidylan: So who's territory is it before? Na ya wife get the territory abeg my brother. Allow her to spread her wings and enjoy her husband's home like the queen of the manor.have you heard of it that even in your own territory if you dont manage it well you would be found guilty. The inlaws are in the house living with her and she went soo petty moaning about serving food, Ate all the meat? How many meat can one single human(female) eat? I hit my hand on the wardrobe, She was definitely waiting for the SIL to cross her path so she can give her some words and she got more than she bargained for. FACT is most men wont watch anyone even their wives tonguelashing their blood family. To me I feel the wife had friction with the sisters previously, the husband calmed things down but just to assert herself she made a mountain out of serving food and the husband too felt she was being completely unreasonable Imagine if her family or neutrals should hear her story full of "SIL didnt eat my food", "SIL went to serve food without permission or FBI security clearance", "I hit my hand on wardrobe", "My husband took food from me and gave to his sister" All these sound like some spoilt 14yr old girl reporting her elder brother. The truth about African marriage is you dont go fighting Inlaws, You stand a better chance fighting your hubby but being pals with your inlaws than the other way round |
Also check this one too out and compare him with his opponent Iyiola Omisore Omoworare attended Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, graduating with a Bachelors degree in Law in 1989. He went on to the Nigeria Law School, Lagos, and was called to the Nigeria Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 1990. He also obtained a Masters in Law from the University of Lagos, Akoka. Omoworare started work with the Lagos law firm of Babalakin & Co. 1991. He became a Notary Public and left Babalakin and Co. in 1998, when he started his own law firm Omoworare & Co., and decided to enter politics.[1] |
This is a decent politician from the very little I knew about him during the 1999-2003? Senate. He was vocal and something of a contrarian in his debates then. I think he lost his seat to the "OBJ pact" after that, if I recall. Curiously, I've not heard a lot about him since April, I hope he's not getting tired. If not, then Osun is lucky to have him there.
He is a Professor. When i talk about the caliber of people ACN present vs PDP this is another example Adeyeye married Moji Christianah Adeyeye, and they have two daughters and one son. His wife attended the University of Nigeria, obtaining a BsC in pharmaceutics in 1976, and went on to the University of Georgia where she obtained a Ph.D. in pharmaceutics in 1988. She is founder of Drugs for AIDS and HIV Patients, a nonprofit organization committed to prevention, education, care and treatment of HIV/AIDS children in Nigeria.[3] Professor Olusola Adeyeye is Chief Executive Officer of Elim Pediatric Pharmaceuticals Inc., and Professor Mojisola Christianah Adeyeye is Founder, President and Chief Scientist of the company.[ |
ronkebp: Am suprised we are still here trying to justify what the hubby and his sister have done. I naratted the whole scenerio to my hubby at home and asked him what his take on the whole thing was, his replies were in 2 sentencesAnd when your wife decides to beat up your mother, You should always protect the wife? |
pro01: If i were a woman, I would never marry a man that is too close to his mother and sisters; it is often a recipe for disaster as the wife would always play second fiddle. If you were a woman, You would only marry men who treat their mothers and sisters like dirt? Don't you think thats an indication of how he would treat his wife and other women? |
Coogar, how true is this?
That is the truth. No man would allow the vile tongued woman attack his own family, Ideally the man would remain neutral as long as both sides dont push their case too far and arent extremely unreasonable Actually you should be wary if the man takes your side and decide to fight his own family unless the man is ~killz. Nothing stops him from turning to you anytime |
Its obvious the OP came here to tell stories of how everything in the world is against her and none is her problems but its soo easy to see how many holes are in her story. What next? i am sure she would come soon and tell us the husband is sleeping with his sisters or having an affair with them to gather more sympathy and more maggi to her story How many ppl can eat 6 pieces of meat at one sitting especially females. All that one she said na jara to make the story sweet. The wife definitely pushed him too far. WHy didnt the wife call the husband aside and report the SIL but she wanted to "dress the SIL down" and insult her whole lineage to make her feel in control and she got more than she bargained for If you insult my sister and my extension drag her upbring into it (Thereby my parents) then we would have a very serious problem. I dont mind my wife abusing me for 1 month at a stretch but any insult that indirectly affects my parents especially my mom, then we would have serious wahala |
This is someone that cant even control his own diick and went around molesting Australian women in his short CHOGM trip I dey laff Drunk Fisherman indeed, They should reduce his alcohol allowance to make him sober up |
GboyegaD: I do not think the complain was because she dished the food. I think the major complain is that the sister did it excessively. So you think the complaint was because the SIL took too much food? How much food can a person eat especially a female? |
GboyegaD: The husband was forced to defend his sister. Assuming you were the Husband and you found out that your wife "called and told" your sister about an issue regarding ordinary food. You know the kind of Naija "calling to tell" that women would give And every instance your wife is always finding faults with your family, I won't be surprised if any man acts in a similar way, Minus the violence. You cant insult my sisters, and probably extend it to her upbringing(thereby bring my parents into it) and I won't react |
Yes, it's obvious they had prior issues. The OP didn't state that, but it's very glaring. I don't know what the issue was and I don't know who was at fault. Those things are not important at this point. Fast forward to when she came into the house. The two are not on talking/good terms. Why would she just dash into the kitchen after the OP is done cooking and start dishing her food? ? ? I ask again, isn't that shameful and impolite? Don't forget that this is the Wife's house and not the SIL's. See what late marriage can cause? Pock-nosing and sniffing around people's pots of soup. Answer to your question; I can't be the SIL. Sorry. Going according to OP's story, I won't be caught dead acting the SIL is acting.
Ok given they have prior issues and the SIL is in the house, We dont know the circumstance leading to her serving the food, But it seemed to me like that Op was patiently waiting for her to cross her path and the food was a perfect one, The SIL couldnt go preparing a separate pot of Soup for herself since there is food in the House. If the SIL had gone to prepare a new pot of Soup the OP would say she is deliberately wasting their food and gas/electricity. The OP milked that situation well and actually over-milked it which led to this wahala. In that Original Post she complained that 1. The SIL went to her pot without permission, 2. She complained that atimes she takes all the meat(seriously how much meat can one person eat?) Thats a pointer that the OP was just looking for trouble and an avenue for confrontation 3 Complained that SIL called her names 4. Complained that SIL reported her to the family Isnt that obvious that the OP was the alasheju here? Translate Alasheju for non- Yorubas The Op was already looking for war and she didnt bargain for this current situation, If someone is out to get you like the OP definitely was trying to do the SIl everything would matter |
Outstrip: Okay thanks for correcting me but wait oh. The man took the womans baby and gave him to his sister to feed. it is over now. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat. I am laughing because I don't know what else to do. wow. That is even worse. What nonsense. Honestly I am livid. Just the thought. I will probably slice my husband. I mean. In what land does someone do a thing like that. The man is obviously not ready to be married. No woman will stand for that. I will forgive adultery before I forgive that. What nonsense. Honestly if I was the SIL and put in that position by my useless brother I will refuse. I will refuse. You are already calling your wife a bad wife in the presence of his family but to insinuate that she is bad mother? Where was that bloody sister when your wife carried the child for nine months, where was she all the nights you woke up every 2 hours. What utter disrespect. The man needs a public flogging. This should be classified under abominationLook at it this way, a confrontation was brewing and things are about to explode, an infant is in the middle of things? Whats the rational thing to do? push the wife while she is carrying the baby? if he did that what would you say about him? |

. One of your jobs in life is to love and respect your wife and not treat her like trash in the presence of inlaws. Even my own mother will hear it the day she tries to disrespect my husband and she will not be allowed into my house until she has apologized to him fully. Infact sef, I will leave her for my father to take care of her, I trust him to do a better job in locking her up in one room
my pot of soup is my treasure and no rude sister in law of mine us allowed near the treasure. That man is an eediot, even telling his sitters t sleep on his wife's bed and the stoopid sister in laws did exactly as he asked them. If this sister in laws wanted peace to reign in the house, they would not have obeyed their brother. They should have told him NO point blank but of course they liked the fact that their brother was having issues with his wife and decided to enjoy the show.
Going according to OP's story, I won't be caught dead acting the SIL is acting.
