FEELINGS, yes feelings they are our greatest enemy I was smoking my blunt today while contemplating om this issue and i came to the conclusion that feelings(emotions) are dangerous and the only thing that can save everyone of us is OUR MIND (consciousness and awareness), every decision we make day to day are based on feelings, how will this make me feel? And it is quite dangerous to think that way we need to start reasoning with logic rather emotions, the man who defeats his or her emotions has won the biggest battle in this life, the ability to avoid temporal pleasure for future benefit by reasoning with logic. Most people are in poverty today because of this they'll rather use money meant for investment to flex and have sex with the hottest bitch for a healthy sum, because they need to satisfy that feeling at their moment, we all have this problem but those who can use their logic to think of future benefits in tough pleasurable situations will win,
In relationships guys are more logical girls are more emotional, that's why love that comes from girls are usually fake but if a guy loves, he loves hard. Nothing really serious, your brain is just resisting you from growing, subconsciously(unconsciously) it's natural and happens to most people but it's actually not good(the brain is scared of the unknown, future), we as humans are programmed from our childhood experiences like poverty, violence etc and it plays huge role to what we become in the future. Firstly you've consciously observed your problem which is self awareness so you need to change your subconscious programming by repeating positive affirmations to your self, Like "I AM RICH, I AM HARD WORKING, I AM NOT LAZY, I WILL ACCOMPLISH ALL MY GOALS VERY EASILY, I HAVE NO FEAR, etc... Those re examples, you can coin the words to your taste, read them or say it to yourself everyday. Normally your brain would also resist you from saying this or being consistent with it, but nothing good come easy. YOU NEED TO BE COMFORTABLE BEING UNCOMFORTABLE. Start doing the things you don't naturally feel like till it becomes an habit like reading, and do it with positive mental attitude so u don't quit. As for social media it gives us a huge release of dopamine in our brain similar to drugs, it's addictive tbh, but instead of trying to quit social media at once try to balance it with being productive.
