mikron: who told u its a glitch or mistake like most of u would want to believe, why are people raising false alarm where there are non? u get maximum speed in download with this platform does not mean 99% of others get same too. infact most people i know complain of getting as little as 50 kb/s on download. do u know what that means? means they might not be able to download a 300 mb file with N100. so in this instance who gains? etisalat or those customers? if u ask me i will say etisalat. few people enjoy the speed on this platform, these are people living close to etisalat masts or living in a vantage etisalat 3g covered area, besides another question is how many people know or uses this platform? not much, most people dont even know about it and the few that have heard dont even know how to go about it. the more u look the less u see, etisalat makes good money from this platform if not they would ve stopped it. if u think im lying call their customer care and ask about this platform, they will even be too willing to guide u tru, to them they are gaining from u, and here u re fretting they will stop the plan. my brother forget that side. continue to browse ur thing. if u live in a good eti 3g covered area enjoy ur speed/download if not then endure ur loss

Ok now I understand your plight..Only issue is you're kinda slow..When we say etisalat would block it,we don't necessarily mean that etisalat would block the payg plan,what we mean is that etisalat would cap the time limit on the plan. I.e etisalat would block the ability to use #15 for 1hr rather than for 5mins.I hope you can understand now?

asalimpo: Yeah. The modem is not working for me. I was drooling over their cheaper rate and fast speed (compared to mtn )
I was told i could download up to 40 gig for as low as N5k/month. so i was sold.
Since i bought it, the modem just been a dud. the interface is web based - and it doesnt connect instantly -
the help manual is a joke like i said. just a printed sheet of paper you get when they give you the modem.
You download an app from a number url (192.168.10.1) - the help instruction was so poor i had to visit them a second time
to get it right.
You logon to a web page,click on a connect button (lucky if it enabled) before you can browse.
Most times,this page has both buttons gray (disabled),the lucky time it was enabled, it wouldnt automatically
become enabled after i disconnected.
Download speed - sometimes less than 1kbs! average 4kbps! . I could only open google with that but nothing else.

I've just exhausted another mtn night plan , i bought 2 days ago - downloaded and browsed without issues on the same system - so my system isnt the issue.

I'm based in Lagos bro,I just exhuasted my 20GB plan on saturday in 15daze,that's how well it works.I don't know about connecting online though,never even heard of it.Didn't your modem have the modem installation files in it coz I connect through the modem interface.Lastly do you have a wi-fi modem or a single user dongle (mine is a dongle)...

yea I can relate,fixed my 5s screen,sold it then got a 5,cracked the screen again...But it was just at the right corner so the screen itself was undamaged...This is the main reason why I was anticipating the iphone6,sapphire glass and all only to discover that it was all a hoax..Still gonna buy it though.

Please get some information before you argue and disgrace yourself in public...Lenovo has the highest PC sales per year and is rated above HP and Dell in the PC world...I use a HP computer personally and a macbook at work so my point on this is totally objective as I am not in anyway affiliated with lenovo,just stating the facts....And the fact that you called lenovo a cheap brand is really amusing because their laptops with same specs as a HP or Dell cost at least 25% more in most cases so what do you even mean.....That a brand has its origins in China doesn't mean it is sub-par..

not entirely sure about your issue or phone but a conventional way to boot out of safe-mode on android is to hold the power+volume down/up button(not sure which at the moment so try both)...

asalimpo: Share your experience using spectranet for browsing.
They claim to b very fast and the cheapest by any comparison .
This isnt my experience.
The modem setup is a pain.
The help manual is a write off.
Their customer care couldnt walk a user thru the setup process via phone ( a negative for them).
The modem connected on my system after a frustratingly long time. I had pulled out the usb when the button became active.
Download speed was around 4.+ kbps! (4 point somthing) . The only page tht opened was google.
No other web page could.
Torrent download? A joke. The searches cuoldnt acquire seeding data not to talk of connecting to peers.
In all the experience is a joke and i sorely regret buying their modem.

wow are you sure about all this coz I use spectranet and none of this happens to me..After installing the modem driver and interface,it connects straight up,no issues at all.
I never read the manual so I can't say anything about that.
LIke I said the modem connects instanta.
My download speed is steady at 2mbps,night or day.
All pages open even torrent sites and hacker forums/sites.
I download torrents like crazy almost everyday,did over 30GB of torrent downloads in less than a month.(Are you sure that the torrents you try to download are being seeded at all)
In all my experience has been great and I don't regret buying the modem..
Although I'd have liked it better if their download speed was 2MBps and not 2mbps..
I assumed that the speed was the former when I was buying the modem only to discover that it was the latter.

Now have you tried connecting the modem to a different port coz on both my laptops it connects in only one port and would not connect in the remaining 2 even though they are all USB 2.0 and USB 3.0.

Definitely a chinese knock-off,the iphone6 does not have "6" on the box...

I have bn using the normal method and when ever I want to browse I will load 200 sometimes it will last 3hours sometime 2 hours and sometimes 1hour 30 mins so it's not cheat fafola is just wicked for selling this to people. do u even know what is cheat? u are paying for the browsing and the time it's not free. so save ur self the sermon and ur english language cos am not interest.

Oh my daze....Do you not understand english I said to share it,just not here..In case you don't know.etisalat is quick to block any loopholes in their system so the fact that this stuff is here makes it much easier to do..If you want to share it,share it to people discreetly through whatsapp,BBM or emails for God's sakes...And FYI,this is a trick the normal way the plan works is #15 for 5mins whereas implementing this,you'd do the same #15 for 1hour...

What happen is I have been using my iPhone 4s for long now, so I decided to upgrade and get an iPhone 5 wich I just did yesterday. Now the tin is, my previous iPhone 4s has an icloud activated(this I dnt know wen I bought it untill I started using it).

This morning I decided to backup the 4s on my system hoping to just restoring all my music, photos and browser history to my new iphone 5. I never knew dis will b my greatest mistake in my life.

Although I already created my own iCloud on the iPhone 5 yesterday night, but after I clicked on d restore on my system, d fone restarted several times, and wen it's done, I unplug and went to my settings to check some stuff, BEHOLD I SAW D FORMER ICLOUD on d fone, d one dat was on d 4s I backed up with wich I dnt hav d password..

Please my ppl is there anyway I can get to remove dis and returned d icloud to d one I already created yesterday.. PLEASE ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL B APPRECIATED..

I hate holding fone dat I dnt have all d control, dat was why I got dis new iphone 5..

hey bro,whatever you do,do not reset that iphone 5,if you do you end up with an activation lock..do not attempt to upgrade your ios either anything you do along this lines would get you an activation lock herein which you'd need the owner of the icloud account to disable it remotely...'goodluck with that'.Keep using it with the icloud accont for now..Where are you located,I might be able to fix your issue if I can get my shii together on time...
