After two sets of twins and two single births with five living children! I'm here again.

I've booked for an evacuation twice and didn't have the heart to go through with it.

So yep! Me that thought I was through with child bearing is now 11weeks preggo.

Thank God it's one baby! Im definitely​ going permanent after this one, it's obvious I can't rely on any temporary family planning. Not after two failures.

This is us at 20 weeks tomorrow even tho scan is measuring 3-4 days ahead . I had a scan last week and the sonographer said it's a boy but I'm not too convinced as baby wasn't co operating, I pray she is right as I have always wanted a boy but would be thrilled with a girl either, just want a healthy baby. Anatomy scan is Friday so 3 more days to find out for real

All very common. My in law gave his son Nehizena, don't know if I got the spelling I am not bini. I don't even know what it means, but it have never heard the name before. I don't know ishan names.

Yes it did but not fast enough cos mine was really low and I was soo pale and nearing edd! So i augmented with garden egg leaf and the result was awesome.
My hb levels went from 7 point something to 10 point 2 withing 1 month of taken astyfer/astymin and rose to 15.5 withing 2weeks of adding garden leaf.

Eat lots of veggies it helps too and avoid taking milk or calcium tabs together with your ferrous tabs.

Really! I take calcium tablets also with astyfer and pregnacare.I also take milk but not all the time. I started taking calcium when I started noticing back pains in second trimester. I will look for the garden egg leaf. Do I cook it or eat it raw? My pcv was 35 the last time dropping from 39.

Lioha I was on astyfer three times daily! Cos I needed to build up blood fast. So it all depends on your need at the moment. Your body will take what it needs and expel the rest that's how iron works our body does not retain excesses.

So I went for antenatal this morning and while lying to get checked for baby's heartbeat and getting measured, my Lo started jumping, my doctor laughed, measured me and said I am measuring big and that the rate at which my baby is growing, she is going to be a big baby, and that he hopes she will wait till the due date. I am yet to do another scan, he asked me to do another when I am 35 weeks so I am waiting till then. Now I am scared scan will tell me 4kg at 35 weeks.

To the glory of God , I welcome my Prince Charming at 40 +1 weeks on Thursday 6th July @about 10.35pm through VD with small perineum episiotomy (about 2 stitches) weighing 5.04kg as against estimated weight of 3.7kg from scan as at last Friday.

I bless the name of God for this beautiful testimony and this shall go round for the remaining waddling mothers in Jesus name .

OMG! 5kg. That's huge, this is the first time I am hearing of a baby weighing 5kg. Congratulations to you and welcome to your prince. I am shocked it's through VD.

Team November, yours truly has dropped from the race. I went for scan today and discovered baby has gone since 2 weeks ago. Kindly pray for me, will be going for evacuation tomorrow.

I didn't feel bad cos I Believe God knows the best for me.

You're the first Nigerian female I know who likes "The Handmaid's Tale". It's a great book that was turned into a TV show (it's even more relevant nowadays). Everyone keeps making me explain the "Game Of Thrones" show because I've read and compiled the books ASOIAF. I also liked "Grimm". Perhaps you should try "Sherlock" and "Broadchurch" or "Veronica Mars".

Let me rant jare

Went for antenatal today, doctor measured my tummy and said it measuring 30wks instead of 34weeks i have to do scan to confirm everything is okay but he told me to wait till the week of my nxt antenatal (2 weeks time) , i am just praying everything goes well.
As if that is not enough went to lagos to baby shop, the rain just decided not to stop. It was such an hectic day but i am happy that i have done 90% of my shopping

So finally I went scan today @ 6weeks 1day and result says everything is fine except for one shocking news.



Two gestational sac seen and viable fotuses with a fetal pole in each, meaning I am a twin mama. God is exceptionally good to me what more can I say than to appreciate him.

Mama where is he? Did I miss the pix? My believe is that when a baby stares at a place constantly with so much concentration then he or she is staring at an Angel.

About superstitions, one woman told me when it's getting to my due date and I want to go out, maybe to the market, that I should put cloth on my head when I go out so that I don't go into labor. The woman is an urhobo woman. Another one is not looking at anything ugly so as not to have an ugly child, then not going out by 1pm.
