Submitted my maternity leave letter yesterday at work .
Decided to stay home today and rest since I am through with preparing results at school, we are vacating tomorrow hurray. Now I have time to do my final cleaning and tidying,but it is not easy did some sweeping and mopping this morning. I can't bend very well anymore,because of the the pressure I feel in my pelvis, plus back ache.

Teamaugust and other mamas, is it weird that I have not experienced braxton hicks contractions at 35weeks +3? I only read about it here. They say the tummy tightens, my tummy always feels tight so that description does not work for me.
Are there people who never have braxton hicks?

So i finally went for scan on Wednesday and alhamdulilah everything is going fine, baby weighs 2.4kg (i hope the weight is ok) at 35weeks.

The worst feeling in the world is seeing your baby suffer due to something you caused. I had terrible all day sickness, to swallow water was a problem. From the 6th week of pregnancy till the 14th week when my all day sickness tapered off. In the beginning for a week I didn't take folic acid when I read about the consequences, I forced myself. My sister the fear of spina bafida is the beginning of wisdom. At my anomaly scan my chest was beating cos I was scared because of the one week I skipped. Please do your best for your baby. This is the formation stage.

Chai, so you are carrying around almost 7kg and here I am feeling sorry for myself with just 2.9kg. Maybe you should try natural methods that will induce labor. But I thought twins are born earlier than singletons

The problem is this, I find it difficult to cross my legs, change sitting positions, turn in bed and also walk short distances e.g. from the sitting room to kitchen because of serious pains around my pelvis. I checked Dr Google and I found an article with the name symphysis pubis dysfunction and I really got scared. Sabi mama's abeg torchlight my matter. Thanks

Who worrying EPP....I just emptied a plate of amala and goat meat . Went for antenatal check today and scan said baby is breech at 31weeks....ehn!....I wanted to cry...but I know say na joke. Baby will turn by Gods grace.
