PoliticsRe: Soludo Dropped From National Economic Team by dblock(m): 3:39pm On Aug 25, 2007
There is still hope though. wink

Soludo was dropped and the re-denomination was suspended, due to a violation of Section 19 of the CBN act.

Perhaps Soludo was at fault, but who knows, maybe his removal from the economic team is temporary.

Or perhaps in the coming weeks, Yar'adua will review his decision.
PoliticsRe: Soludo Dropped From National Economic Team by dblock(m): 3:32pm On Aug 25, 2007
Soludo has done more for Nigeria, than Yar'Adua has done or will ever do.

Yar'Adua has committed his greatest mistake since coming to office.

Believe it or not, but apart from the President and Governors, Soludo is probably the person with the most impact on Nigeria.

Taking him out of the economic team, will affect the country greatly.

Nigeria would be different today, if he was never in office.

Our Banks would be weaker.

Inflation would be double digit.

The Naira would be weaker.

The Nigerian economy would be growing at a slower rate.

There would be less investments in Nigeria, due to lack of confidence

and due to this, Poverty would be larger by a small margin.

The Informal Sector would be larger

ATM's would be more scarce

These are some of the many things that Soludo Prevented.

What has Yar'Adua prevented. What ahs he done for Nigeria, for him to question Soludo's credibility

Soludo is the Greatest Nigerian Alive. He should run for president.
PoliticsRe: Naira Re-Denomination: Suspended! by dblock(m): 3:18pm On Aug 25, 2007
I think Yar'Adua is a great president and Soludo is a Great Economist, however there is a conflict of interest here.

Yar'Adua is at fault, the best we can hope for, is that when Charles Soludo is replaced, he will be replaced with someone as capable as himself. Someone that can continue with Soludo's initiatives. The most important of these been the "FSS 2020, that plan was proposed during Obasanjo's regime, and must not be hindered like the re-denomination.
SportsRe: Latest Football Transfer News by dblock(m): 6:51am On Aug 25, 2007
I think Ayeigbeni has made the right choice going to Everton

Obagoal made the right choice by staying at Castle.
PoliticsRe: Naira Re-Denomination: Suspended! by dblock(m): 6:48am On Aug 25, 2007
There was nothing wrong with the Re-denomination.

There were concerns raised about the Government's ability to manage inflation, if the Re-denomination went along, but the same Economic team that is under the spotlight now, are the same Team that eased Nigeria's inflation problem. Prior to Soludo's expertise, the Naira was on it's way to hell.

Have we forgotten that the Naira has been depreciating in value for decades, it is because of this man "Soludo" that Inflation is no longer double digit, and the Naira stands at N125-N129 exchange to the Dollar as opposed to the N150 mark that it would most likely be at today. Solodu reformed the Nigerian economy. The Nigerian economy is growing steadily at 6-7% and will be accelerated to 13% growth this year. This isn't Voodoo, such growth is achieved after management of funds, and Economic policies. The re-denomination will be a costly process, but in the end it will be worth it. Uneducated Grade B economists are questioning the instance of the re-denomination. They don't know the meaning of the word, they are overwhelmed by the statement "Slash two zeroes" that they fail to realize that the process is achieved after economic policies. The re-denomination is not the answer to the weakness of the Naira, but it is the best that can be done with idiots as Presidents. we have Governors talking about "induced inflations" when they are the same baboons that demand revenue only to flood the local economies with worthless projects. Isn't that inflation.

Yar'Adua has no right to question the credibility of Charles Soludo, since Soludo came to office, what has he done apart from transform the economy. There will be no need for the scheme if Mr President, can resolve the Niger Delta Crisis, and manage the resources adequately, alleviating poverty, strengthening the economy and giving value to the Naira.

The fact is that Charles Soludo is Africa's best central Bank Governor. He recapitalized the banks, easing the size of the informal sector to a certain extent, lauded the emergence of SME's , thus alleviating Poverty to a certain extent, and improved the economy best he could.

No CBN Governor, can do his job without controversial decisions, with Stupid baboons mismanaging resources. Soludo's power is limited, he can only plead, that the right choices are made, yet all the attention is now diverted to him.

Soludo has done more for Nigeria than Yar'Adua or any person on this forum as ever done, yet people spit on him.

PoliticsRe: Fresh Gun Battle In Port Harcourt by dblock(m): 9:49am On Aug 24, 2007
Why are all these uneducated people talking about curses.

The problem with Port Harcourt is retaliation induced by Governmental neglect nothing more!

The chaos will stop once the Militants and Gangs give way so that the government can embark on projects for the alleviation of poverty and construction of Infrastructure, Jobs etc.

Once there is stability, then such gangs will be easy to persecute.

But this isn't happening, because the people of Niger Delta do not realise that until there is peace nothing will ever improve. Not in a billion years. The gangs can fight for eternity, but until there is stability, poverty and unemployment will remain.

Because vital infrastructure being constructed are been hindered, by the chaos in the region.

Investments cannot be made, because of the state of chaos in the state.

Jobs cannot be created, because of the state of chaos in the state.

Revenue is been lost, because of the state of chaos in the state.

unemployment will only increase, because of companies leaving due to the state of chaos in the state.

Electricity cannot be adequately supplied, because Power plants cannot be constructed on time and existing facilities cannot be supplied with Gas due to the vandalism and hindering of construction due to the state of chaos in the state.

Innocent lives are been taken, and abductions are on the rise due to the state of chaos in the state.

Nigeria cannot go anywhere, as long as the Militants are in the region. Nothing can be achieved. Not even adequate corruption.

I bet Abacha is thinking to himself, "Even when I was in power at least Crude was been generated at a steady rate so there was a decent amount of money to launder"

Let us not be fooled by the Revenue, the amount of money in the Foreign reserves are only so because of accumulated savings over a prolonged period of time.

Last time I checked over 90% of Nigeria's Budget comes from Oil and Gas, if the situation in the Niger Delta worsens, and the Foreign Reserve is exhausted, Nigeria will be borrowing money from Haiti. People say the Niger Delta is bad, but the crisis in the region is infectious, if it is allowed to continue, the violence will spread to other parts of the country. And we will have [size=14pt]140 million people all yelling "We want a share of the Black Gold"

It's a Multiplayer Shooting Game.

I have a lot of events in the game. Such as explosions occurring when objects collide, and walls turning into burnt walls when Flame Balls hit them etc etc.

I also have health bars for each of the two players.

I'm making the game with Game Maker Lite. 7.0
