Regina3: Hi guys, been a silent reader here following all your advice, been a big source of encouragement & reference for me. I got my approval yesterday.
First Application. Applied online : June 22, 2019 Biometrics: June 26, 2019 Medical: July 17, 2019 Passed: July 20, 2019 Approval/Correspondence :August 1, 2019
Just want to say, I was really worried as all the documents I submitted for proof of financial ability were much and after managing to compress to 3.9MB, the documents didn't look to sharp, I thought that it would be an issue but I thank God, for favour. I will suggest if you are having same challenges as I did, you can use CamScanner on Android play store, I found out about it after submitting mine with poor resolutions. Thanks.
Update: Passport Request : August 5, 2019 Submitted: August 6, 2019 Passport return : August 16, 2019
Grateful! Wish you all success.
Please, looking for Nigerians in U of Regina, Saskatchewan.
Update: I arrived on the 3rd Sept. From Abuja to Frankfurt to Calgary & then Regina. Looking forward to having an amazing experience even though it's cold.
Thank you all. Hey, Can we talk privately? Starting at U of R January. I sent a DM |

Hello Oganammuo,
All IMM forms can be found on cic.gc.ca. However, use the link below to assess the IMM Form page directly. Only download what is applicable to you. Also, ensure your system has Adobe Reader 11 or Acrobat to be able to download, save, and fill the forms before print out.

Unlike online, paper route permits you to do your biometrics on same day prior after submitting. Since you travelling from afar, just sacrifice 2 - 3 days though Abuja VFS doesn't witness same rush as Lagos VFS. But at most, sacrifice 2 days for it.
As it stands, you might not be required to do another biometrics since you've done one in 2017. Though the 10yrs biometrics validity began in July 31, 2018, some re-application applicants during same year as you didn't undergo a fresh biometrics while some did. Based on my recent observation, you're likely not to undergo one again. However, please us updated.
To your last question, the special thing is to make prayer the cover page of your application.
Good luck! I am planning to reapply for visa via paper route am I doing another biometrics after submitting my documents. Biometrics is valid for 10 years. I got denied in 2016. Reapplied this year, didn't do biometrics again. |

Folmid: APPROVAL ALERT @ 1.49PM.
Let me use this opportunity to say a big thank you to all the contributors in this forum and my short prayer is whatever that is saying NO and NO to the YES of GOD in our endeavors shall be frustrated IJN.
This platform gave me JOB in 2008 and now a supernatural breakthrough in my life.. May God bless the founder of this platform.
My advise to all Canadian student VISA seekers should just read some of the threads as i read thread 16 from pali to pali(2x) and then back it up with prayers. No need to waste your money to hire agents as all what you need is in your "sokoto" here.
My timeline:
Route--Paper route Submission--Oct 4 2019 Medical test request-Nov 1 2019 Medical completed Nov 12 2019 Medical Passed Nov 15 2019 BVL- Nov 20 2019 Approval Nov 26 2019
DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED: My Introduction letter Wife introduction letter Salary statement of account Family company documents Children Birth certificates Marriage certificate Pension Statement of account Insurance premium Recent Promotion letter(husband and Wife) Id cards Training certificates Commendation letters from my Boss Property documents Lovely SOP-3 pages

Do you know that "You will never know everything about something; just take that bold step and start while increasing your knowledge in that area." Forward ever and it will surely end in praises. Awesome!!! |

Might need to raise some cash.. Yes that's the norm and you are supposed to have cash in place for all these things to come. |

peaceful22: @Dbnagato please tell us about your application.
I must say, the timeline is superb. Well, I applied in 2016 and got refused due to insufficient funds. So I deferred my admission and waited till when everything would be in place financially. I'm taking Computer Science B.Sc. Within my wait period I have taken Computer Science programs both online and in person, I've also taken internships in Web Development, I included all these in my SOP with Solid proof and by God's grace finances are now available and very stable. My agent worked at the Immigration office in lagos for 10 years before retiring to start his Visa Consultation Firm, so he is really skilled, he has very good success rate. He Scrutinized my application thoroughly. It's all good. Also believe God and be hopeful, don't let the rate of denial scare you for a second, just believe that your case is different. Also prepare to receive refusal in good faith should it come, at the end of the day, what could be the worst? |
