I keep wondering why those captured do not have names. Are they ghost. huh huh huh huh
If they are serious about exposing them they should give their names publicly it would help us fight more effectively, but untill then,I am still not convinced there is any commitment to end this.

One of the most effective way of containing this whole saga is exposuring those caught.
I think it's high time Spiderman comes out from hiding and be amazing... duh... wats in a name?
PoliticsNigeria Army Uncovers Major Bomb-making Factory, Arrests Terrorist Leader by Dbrainiac1(op): 8:53pm On Aug 28, 2015
Troops of the 25 Task Force Brigade of the Nigerian Army have uncovered a major bomb-making factory and arrested a terrorist leader and two others, the spokesperson for the army, Sani Usman, has said.

Mr. Usman, a colonel, described the finding as “an unprecedented feat” in the fight against the extremist Boko Haram sect in its area of operations.
A statement by Mr. Usman Friday, said the Task Force Brigade, during a cordon and search operation at Sandia, Kokakowa and Nyaleri villages, suspected to be Boko Haram enclaves, uncovered and destroyed the Improvised Explosives Device (IED) making factory at Miyati and Nyaleri villages, along the Maiduguri-Bulabulin-Damboa road, in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State.
“In addition, three terrorists were arrested comprising an “Ameer”, a high contact and a foot soldier,” the army spokesperson said.

He added, “Among items discovered apart of the IED making equipment, were a Peugeot pick up van, foodstuff, 10-KVA Lister generator, gas cylinders, borehole, 9 bags of fertiliser, pumping machine, 3 bags of maize, 1 bag of millet and 13 empty AGO jerry cans, amongst others.

“The joint operation between the Brigade and Nigerian Air Force who provided air cover and tracking, was part of the determined effort by the military to rout out terrorists in the general area and open more roads hitherto held by the terrorists for public usage. It is also part of the renewed effort and vigour on the part of our troops to meet up with the set dateline that has turned the tide and momentum of the battle against the Boko Haram terrorists in our country.

“I am glad to say that the troops are on high morale and very excited with their accomplishment thus far.

“In a related development, troops have made substantial progress in an advance to reclaim and destroy terrorists held areas within Gamboru Ngala general area.”

Two trailers suspected to be carrying logistics support to members of the Boko Haram Terrorist sect have been intercepted and destroyed by the Nigerian Air Force Agusta helicopter on armed reconnaissance mission around the Nigeria-Cameroon border.
The trailers were covered and parked at different locations in the bush around the border town of Belel. The recent air operation against the BHTs was commanded by the Chief of the Air Staff, CAS, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar from NAF reconnaissance aircraft, the King Air 350i. The CAS coordinated the various NAF platforms involved in the operation to provide close air support to ground forces, led by the Chief of the Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Buratai, as they advance from Dikwa to Gamboru Ngala.
Meanwhile, NAF 260, a Mi-24V attack helicopter was hit during the operation. One of the main rotor blades was hit and damaged. However, the pilot was able to successfully fly the helicopter back to base to land. The affected aircraft has since been repaired and is back to the theatre of operation.

One soldier was killed in an ambush Friday during a daring visit by the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, to troops currently battling Boko Haram terrorists in parts of Borno state.

The army chief, who arrived Maiduguri first, set out on the journey through Mafa to Gamboru-Ngala border town where regrouping terrorists were dislodged recently.

On the way to Gamboru-Ngala, Mr. Buratai, a Lieutenant General, stopped over in Mafa town where he addressed troops of the 7 Division, Nigeria Army currently manning the reclaimed community that is still deserted.

He commended the soldiers for “a job well done” even as he assured them of improved welfare and allowances as he said such matters have been placed before the table of the president and commander-in-chief, Muhammadu Buhari.

He however informed the soldiers that “there is still more job to be done and we have to do this once and for all so that all of us can go back to our respective barracks and continue with our normal jobs and soldiers”.

As the convoy moved on to Dikwa, a message was sent in that an advance team was ambushed by Boko Haram terrorists and one soldier was killed while two others were also injured.

The soldiers in advance however subdued the terrorists by killing five of them and arresting five others, who surrendered their arms.

While the Chief of Army staff’s convoy proceeded to Dikwa, soldiers spotted suspected Boko Haram members in the bushe amidst flocks of cattle. Mr. Buratai stopped the convoy and ordered that the group be rounded up for investigation.

An elderly herdsman confessed that four of the arrested suspects met them in the bush and forced them to move together. The four suspects later owned up that they were members of the Boko Haram. They were immediately arrested and sent back to Maiduguri.

In Dikwa, the chief of Army staff was welcome with cheers by over 4000 internally displaced persons from Gamboru and neighbouring towns, who were full of praise and prayers for him and the soldiers.
He addressed them in the local Kanuri language and assured them that they would soon be resettled as his troops were working round the clock to rid the area of all terrorists.

The convoy later moved on to Ngala town where a large number of solders were met celebrating the liberation of the area.

Lieutenant General Buratai addressed the troops and commended them for keeping the morale high. He urged them to be more vigilant and ensure no Boko Haram is left to cause any form of attack on troops and innocent civilians.

He was accompanied on the trip by the GOC 7 Division and other top officers from the Army headquarters, while the Chief of Air Staff also made the trip by air.

Buhari Suspends Parradang, Nigeria Immigration
Boss
by Dbrainiac1 ( m): 6:08pm
President Muhammadu Buhari has suspended the
comptroller general of Nigeria Immigration
Service, David Parradang.
Mr. Parradang was asked to immediately
proceed on suspension Friday while the service’s
deputy comptroller general, Martin Abeshi, takes
over, according to the News Agency of Nigeria.
It was not immediately clear why Mr. Parradang
was sanctioned.
However, the Immigration Service under his
leadership sparked national outrage in 2014 after
nearly 20 job applicants died in stampede during
an Immigration recruitment test.
Ahead of the examinations, an agent
commissioned by the Ministry of Interior,
extorted N1000 from each of over 700,000
applicants.
Despite raising nearly a N1 billion, logistics for
the exercise were dismal resulting in the deaths.
Mr. Parradang denied any role in the contract.
He said the Interior minister, Abba Moro, handled
the deal.
An investigation launched by the Senate into the
matter, ended without a report till date.
