Nice specs. However, LTE band 7, which is important if you are using MTN, is not listed. I suspect a typo though. Also, LTE band 28, Glo's main LTE band is not listed. Though Glo is beginning to deploy LTE on band 3 as well.
Mtn uses both band 7 and 20, 20 is there, band 28 is no longer important, even glo knows this thats why there are gradually migrating to 3 which the m30s has. That band 28 is not popular among phones in nigeria, just a few

I don't see that phone selling @ that price when it's officially out, like what will happen to all the A30 and 50, no more market I guess.
If you observe the dollar or euro price tag of a30, in naira, its between 75k to 85k currently, but we in nigeria are buying it between 65k to 70k because some paid apps and accessories are not included, so i agree with the price, which may even be cheaper if you buy the ones shipped to Nigeria as in, its written NG at the back of the pack

More to this...if you are manipulating notification LED on all these A series without dedicated LED, you are actually leaving you screen ON all the time, but you won't notice because of the AMOLED display, all you see is the improvised LED, thus, consuming battery due to screen on time.

I noticed this while using Notifybuddy and AMOLED for notifications, then i had to stop using them.
I suggest using always-on-display for all notifications, it doesn't eat much of battery, over night takes like 4% battery on my a30

Do you think the A7 2018 is better??
A7, a8, a8 star all good phones but its a trend to have smaller bazels and more screen, a30 screen is 6.4 inch but smaller than a7 2018 that is 6 inch and taller and bigger. As for performance, usage contributes

To be honest, the phone is slowing down a bit.. when someone calls, it can take like a second before the name would show.. or maybe wen ure trying to call someone, it would be the same thing..
Another thing is, when i am playing candy crush (cos i nor get gata to download good game), it may just hook for like 0.5 secs, especially when there's this "combo"... it wasnt like that in my former phone
I noticed this with mine but the cause was 2 app running alongside the system call app, they are truecaller and a call recorder.

Hey guys, am i the only one that thinks the light under the front facing camera on the A-series (A20 to be precise cause i dunno about the others) is seriously underutilised?

#Correct me if i'm wrong buh the only time it comes on is when you're in the camera app and you switch from Backfacing camera to the front facing camera...

I believe this could have atleast been incorporated as a notification led...
Yes, i agree, it would have served as notification led

Thank God its only in Nigeria that infinix won, but around the world, Samsung has won/beaten infinix. This means there is a way phones are rated in Nigeria that is totally different from any where in the world

Surenigga:
The S4 is a clear winner.... I love the device so much.... Super clear camera
Long term review is where infinix clearly fails, most especially if u apply eighter android os updates or google security patch, the quality of the camera and overall performance drops (check infinix xclub for the complains) and Samsung phones get better with updates. This is a business strategy by transsion, they want u to get tired of the infinix or tecno u r using then go and buy the latest model instead of sending an update fix to improve the performance. You can use and enjoy a Samsung for even 2 years or more but you can't use an infinix and enjoy it for even up to a year sef, i got tired of my infinix note 5 after updating to pie because of issues and sold it after just 4 months, some people downgraded to oreo

Phones › Re: Glo 4GLTE Is Now Available On Frequency Band 3 (1800) by ddjay: 6:30am On Aug 28, 2019
lawddanny:
I was surprised just now when I turned on my glo data I saw 4G at the top of my phone.
That is a phone that doesn't support glo 4glte(band 28) before but it seems that glo has added a new band(band 3)

Reports reaching us now is that Glo 4G is now available on Band 3(1800). Recall earlier this year 2019, Glo announced its roadmap to extend their 4G LTE frequency to Band 3, which is also the same frequency Band with Airtel and 9mobile.

Users from different locations in Nigeria has confirmed that Glo 4G is now available on LTE Band 3(1800). Before now, Glo 4G frequency runs only on Band 28(700), which is not available on many Android phones in Nigeria.

With this new update, any 4G enabled phone can now support Glo 4G LTE. The hunt for phones that support Band 28 will come to an end. I’m sure with this, Glo will gain new subscribers.

While it has seemed that there has been no official statement from Globacom themselves, in a February 2019 press statement from the company, Globacom’s Group Technical Director, Sanjib Roy, stated;

This will come as a good news to millions of Glo subscribers whose phones do not have LTE Band 28 frequency. The rollout of Globacom’s Band 3 is still quite slow but can be expected to widen quickly over the next coming months.
Which app did u use to know the availability of the 4g
