The real estate thing is really giving me a second thought about the phone. The bazel in my infinix phone couple with the tempered glass and a protective pouch has been a great saviour from cracked screen. I really fear owning a Samsung a20 and it dropping. My wonderful niece could really be "wonderful" when watching "baby shark doo doo doo doo doo baby shark". You don't want to try her patience at that time. And trust me, 2hrs none stop, you both will still be there watching same cartoon. I really wonder why she isn't bored (seeing the same piece over and over again).

As was recently suggested, get a kids tablets for you niece, phone bazels are reducing thus making screens more vulnerable o damage

And without front flash they'll still perform better than those mediocre camera's on those tecno products

Even all the sony flagships i know since 2013 till date dont have front flash and sony selfie cams are one of the best, tecno and infinix with all the flash are miles behind

screen flash is the new trend now, its a way of trying to have a full or almost full screen. But guy this infinix and tecno reference almost made me fall on the ground in laughter

I have used different Infinix phone and i currently use Infinix note 5, I can confirm that Infinix phones are shit. I'm done with infinix after using my note 5.

I just compared the infinix phone with a Samsung a20, and I fully comprehend you now. The Samsung has bigger screen... Real screen estate. But the infinix note 3 pro has a really really big bezel, hence the big appearance of the phone.
But givin it a second and deep thought, it wil really b dangerous fora phone with nigh real screen estate to drop...... The screen can get damaged easily
My brief experience with Samsung a20 this evening:
It has a great display graphics, about same weight with my infinix note 3, I discovered I can change the "minimize, home button and back button" to another desired style instead of gesture, the batter is quite strong too.
But I discovered a large portion of the ram is consumed on nothing. I assume it was background ap and closed background app, yet barely 800mb was left from the 3gb ram (and not many apps has been installed on it yet) . Also it's a big turn off that it doesnt have front flash (only screen flash). Even, it's sad to say the rear flash is not too bright. I can really on it at night to light a dark path when working. My infinix's own is bright but the light "scatters", to it only lights up many things withing a short distance. When I was using iPhone 6s, it has a focus flash, but it was. It bright even though one can alter the degree of brightness. The cameras are superb, both front ND rear
It was fun using the split screen and I could alter the boundary btwn the split, and it was fun using "cast" to render the display on my infinix.
I don't knw, but something really gives me a conviction that that 32gb rom is a scam, that it's go as get full quickly by app data on the phone, just like using a 16gb rom on OS 6 (one might need a memory card on the long run) ... Could I be right or I am jumping into conclusions?

What eats up the space is trully background apps, they are called bloatwares, uninstal the ones you wont need and use greenify or its like on playstore to stop background apps from running. This is where Android one phones stand out because it only comes with google apps, you install the rest.

Inches in size, the infinix is still bigger. So what bases was the Samsung measured?

That note 3 has bazels, but the recent phones now have more screen with small size. If you remove the top and bottom bazels then that note 3 qill be very small

Name a brand people don't get scared of update, it's on Nokia, it's on Xiaomi, it's on Samsung, so I don't see any reason why users can't ask for opinions

I've constantly update any updates i get on Infinix, no probs, there is always improvement, same with Noxia, Xiaomi and SamSung I've done same

My secret is simple if my network is not fast i don't download update, keeping to that rule has always workout for me

Number 2, i download update as early as possible, not wen an update is pushed to a user , some user will wait weeks before downloading

Also i make sure all my apps on Playstore are up to date. U see i try to do wat i know will improve the performance of my device overall

OEM push update for a reason, app developer push app update for a reason, people should just learn to update their device

Imagine someone who have never update his app on Playstore for years or many month's will still come and say his device is slowing down, why won't it slow down?

See where the problem, all this things have nothing to do with me, neither have i raised anything close to this. Your observations that people that have problem with their phones most especially here on nairaland did not update their apps as where necessary, used poor Network to update their phones or keep the update after some as so on may be your observation on nairalanders that report complains here, well, as for me am not good at describing people that way, but if you think people are this low, no problem,you can tell them, i have no business with this your observations

Infinix phones get updates ??, its like you want links to all the request for updates abi, even the 2 Android one (that is if u understand Android one) phones (note 5, note 5 stylus) have lost the confidence people have in them, if not why are people selling them, even on this thread
