They requested a reference letter but am confused, should the reference letter be general “to whom it may concern “ or maybe directly only to the school only. I’m also trying to apply to other school and considering I won’t be able to go back and get reference letters every time I wanted it. Will “To who it may concern “ be okay. Those of you that have gotten admission into universities please let me know the one you used?

Hello fam, please I need your advice. My friend was scheduled for an interview with UKVI, she joined the teams meeting promptly and waited for almost 3 hours, no body showed up. She sent multiple mails during the waiting time, they kept apologizing for any inconveniences caused and mentioned that she should wait for a new schedule that will be communicated in another mail. It’s been 3 days now, no new mail, no reply to her follow up mails. Is anyone experiencing this? I heard that this is a thing with UKVI interviews. What is the way out?

Bear in mind that immigration policies change always

If by the time you do your second degree ,the graduate visa and conditions for it remains the same then that should be fine

Good morning everyone,

I am applying for uk student dependant visa for my wife and I got to the stage where it asked if we have been living together for the past 2 years. I'm confused because the truth is she spends most of her time with me before we officially got married in April this year, her address on the wedding certificate shows her parent house, we even have a child together who stays with my wife's parents in another state.

If I choose NO, its asking me to provide explanation as to why we did not live together and if I choose YES, its asking if I have 2 documents to show that we have lived together e.g utility bill, tenancy agreement, phone bills etc in both our names. These documents are not available because I rented my apartment with a friend back in Nigeria, so she'd just come and spend some weeks then go back. Our utility bill is in the Landlord's name.

I need advice pls, Should I just say NO and explain that culture does not allow her to live with me before marriage or choose YES and provide just her NIN which carries our present address?

Kindly review this and know if any previous experience can help in correcting this error. In my travel history I just went tru my form filling that I clicked on NO in the section for any other countries visited although I submitted my previous visas and my passport issuing authority is Abu Dhabi. Honestly that section for any other countries visited was filled in error and I really need to know if a way to correct it was possible.

Entirely your decision

The ECO may request evidence of you and your wife’s maintenance with specific dates (for example from when you both applied till date)

In that instance you will need to show the balance of what is in your account and evidence for the difference (I.e school fees, rent and other bills paid)

I've been in UK with my wife for 3 months. My wife is a student and we used her account for our POF. Now we want to apply for our kids. The POF will be my account, are we to add school fees balance, our maintenance, and kids maintenance for their POF? Or just maintenance for both of them?
