You just need to provide enough evidence to show your marriage is substantial

Reprint the statement counting 28days from when she submitted her application till today

In the email response

Quote the Oanda exchange rate on the date she applied

Quote the appendix ST 33.2 and 33.3 and re-emphasise that her funds have been held in your account for minimum 28days before applying and till date.

Quote your own total cost and her cost as per Oanda and reconfirm that the financial requirement had been met

Latest day for resumption is 2nd Oct.
I didn't ask that CU chases my visa application on my behalf, i have just been keeping them in the know of any update.

If you are changing your name do so in all your officials documents especially Passport and NIN

If you aren’t doing all ,don’t do any

My advise would be to wait till you are renewing your passport then you can change both NIN and Passport

Please for a new marriage which the wife’s passport Carrie’s her maiden name and she now wants to do a change of name on her NIN. Won’t this change have any effect on her passport or cause any sort of contradiction when traveling.
Note: this is not for visa application as the visa is already out and she just needs to officially change her name on her bank account

It is possible but confusing because most Unis will ask if you had previously applied elsewhere, it’s okay to see another application for the same level of education in a different Uni, but to see BSc and MSc that sounds like someone who doesn’t know what he/she wants and can be deemed as ‘not a genuine student’

My advise is stick to one, if you already have a Bsc degree then you should be progressing to a Masters degree

After waiting for couples of days without hearing from them I did a pay call on 12th of September i was told my application is still on awaiting decision. The email is from my potential sponsor(soon to be manager)

I have left the UK after my studies in 2011

I currently live in Nigeria

I applied for the job and got interviewed in January,

The HR called and sent me email that I was successful but that I should wait, the company will look into my sponsorship that it is a robust process and its been managed independently

The conditional offer came in May

I did pre employment checks from May to July

Completed the AccessNI in July with proof of address and ID checks

The HR said they will change my shift to night shift to enable my salary per hour be eligible to the sponsorship criteria, I agreed

By August ending my soon to be manager asked my to furnish her with my UK address and Visa and Passport copies to send for my sponsorship

I told to her that I am in Nigeria and dont have any valid UK visa or address except when I was a student in 2011, she said she has submitted my documents to the sponsorship team and will get back to me as soon as she hear back

From August til September 22nd the HR kept on sending me updates that my sponsorship application is still in progress

I was surprised to get an email stating "potential sponsorship query from my soon to be manager asking for visa and passport copies..

Can anyone guide me through please on what to do or how to respond

You need to seek clarification from your HR about this. They will tell you if your day to day tasks fits that description.

Also, the shortage list is usually reviewed and updated with the most recent one done last month. Keep an eye on that as often as possible.

The rules are clear

If there isn’t a compelling reason as to why you need to stay back then you risk a refusal

Can you argue that staying back for business transactions is compelling enough?? How would you balance being available for your child? How will your wife balance study and family life? What arrangements have you made i.e additional child care arrangements etc to see that your child isn’t lacking fatherly care in your absence.

If you don’t have any answers and supporting evidence for this then prepare for a refusal and reapply with your child

I did a summary of how to go about research based masters

All Unis offer that, You have to pitch your research proposal to the relevant Uni. Your research must be novel, contribute to science and have an impact

You then find a supervisor in your Uni of choice that has same interest-in your field and submit that proposal

They will take you through the process up to the point of getting your CAS

You should be concerned about the country of transit not whether it is one or 2 stops

With KLM you may most likely transit Amsterdam, if that is the case you need a transit visa

She has even gone to Child Protection department at the Ministry of women Affairs and they said Adoption certificate is what they can issue and it will take a long process but she got someone that said with 500k they can get the certificate for them
