Everyday, a story or two comes out of Lagos metropolis that gets you screaming your head off. This is one.

Popular blogger Linda Ikeji has just published some graphic photos of a severed penis of an alleged rapist. It terrible. The story goes that a lady in Lagos went visiting a friend and was raped but bit off the alleged rapist’s penis before escaping and running out of the crime scene.

The lady nor the alleged rapists are not named. Neither does the story say where this unfortunate event happened. Nobody also knows when it happened exactly. The fan who sent the story and photos to Ikeji said it happened, ‘last two Saturdays’. Below is the full narration by the supposed witness.

“Here are pics of an incident that happened in my area last two Saturdays. A guy went to his friend’s place with his babe. A few hours later, the girl came out screaming rape rape rape. And later the guy came out too screaming help help help. The girl had blood on her clothes and then she was given a cloth to cover herself. But when the guy came out with blood on his body everyone was shocked and that’s when we knew the girl bit off his penis and this was done with her teeth. The guy was taken to the hospital but when they got to the hospital they realized that the other part was no longer there. They had to come back home to look for the remaining part, but by then its dead, though they stitched it he’s still in the hospital.”

The Rivers State chapter of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has instigated a suit against the State Government of Governor Rotimi Amaechi, filing a petition to the Attorney General of Rivers State, the Chief Registrar of the High Court, the Judicial Service Commission and the Commissioner of Police, alleging a violation of the fundamental human rights of over three thousand members of the association in the state.

Making the move known to newsmen was the State Chairman of the NBA, Denis Okwapkam, who availed that the NBA in Rivers State was seeking N500 million in damages from the State.

Okwakpam further accused the state government of politicizing the state judiciary, contesting the denial of entry into the High Court complex and the seizure of the official vehicles of lawyers.

He said: “The Port Harcourt branch of the NBA has instituted a Fundamental Human Rights Action at the Federal High court in Port Harcourt against the Attorney General of Rivers state, the Chief Registrar, the Rivers state Judicial Service Commission and the Commissioner of Police, Rivers state for the sum of N500 million as exemplary damages for the continued breach of the Fundamental rights of the over 3000 members of the Association in Port Harcourt.

“From the available Court processes filed in the matter in Suit No. FHC/PH/FHR/146/2015, the applicants are claiming that the respondents have denied them access to their offices within the High Court Complex in Port Harcourt, since the 12/9/2014 and the records of their members and detained their coaster and Hiace buses.”

the killers dont need to be brought to justice. the Government needs to take full blame for this.

Lesson for parents who send their children to go and hawk... i believe a father and mother should both be responsible to provide for the family, while their kids go to school to secure a good future... may her soul find rest..
