I have been off this platform a long time. What brings me back is this, after birthing my daughter in 2017, I applied for a visa renewal via Dropbox and I was called for an interview.
At the interview the visa was denied, this was in 2019. Reason it was denied was questions around the cost of my daughters birth, though I took my zero receipts etc. in between then and now we had our son in Naija.
Now I am applying for a visiting visa , the part on the form that states ‘ reason for previous denial’
My elders, what the best way to respond to that question in the ds-160 form .

My sister applied for a student visa, her letter of acceptance says her course is for two years, but the IRCC gave her a visa valid from now till the 30th of March 2025(five months). I know the study permit upon entry is what that matters, but has anyone gotten a five months visa before?

The attached picture stated that I was sent a message but didn't receive any message via email or text. Now, It was written that my application is closed and I have tried asking the agent, but he said no information yet. Is there another portal aside from the tracker portal?

hello house pls i need some guidance. I got a refusal based on POF and was told i could opt for an administrative review. I presented statement of account in Naira and another currency. The case officer calculated the other currency as Naira and so it reduced the POF amount. This way my POF became short by about 3k GBP instead of being in excess of over 2k GBP. Please how do i go about the review. Do i need to attach any further documents. I feel so hurt and cheated.

I did my biometric on the 9th of September VI TLS contact center, it's already 12 working days and I havnt gotten my visa, but I have been seeing people that used Ikeja and did biometric after me, yet they all have gotten... It would have been better for you to picked employed, since she's going for a tourist visa, yes you might been thinking that how will you get employment letter which is very easy, that's why sometimes is better you know an experience agent handle it for everything for you, you family ties and home ties and pof re mostly the deciding factors for them granting visa, usinf an agent you can get any documents that u yourself donr even have but they will bring it out and you will be surprised how is done but you doing it yourself where do you think you will get the documents?

I’m new here and I’ve found the responses very useful. I submitted my passport physically with VFS Lagos for stamping for a Canadian visiting visa. I didn’t get any confirmation via email that it has been received by VFS, but I’ve been tracking it via the VFS website and it says it has been forwarded for processing at the Canadian visa office.

Please does anyone know how long it could possibly take for the stamping and return of the passport so I can manage my expectations. And is there anyway to officially expedite the process?
